  1. Agreed on this. It's a VERY nice promo, and I'm glad to have gotten one. Also nice with some of the Easter Eggs inside it.
  2. I wouldn't expect any of those sets until at least 2024, if they release.
  3. Personally, if anything, I could see the Batcave having the Batmobile that splits into sections.
  4. The set just has Yoda and R2 per FluffySky.
  5. From the front, the figures are fine, but from the sides/back, they're REALLY weak.
  6. I counted them going through the instructions. Painful, but it works. Sounds like I may have been a couple of parts off.
  7. WWW has approximately 1621 pieces in DA... So this is roughly 0.5 times the part count.
  8. It does have to be said that these are very different. On one hand, you have a playset that will probably have a less interesting build but a lot of figs, and on the other, you have two high-end display models (that are definitely a bit more pricy this year).
  9. Target does not have the set street-dated for August 1st, no. It is street dated for April 1st there, which likely means it was added into the system according to older info when ToD was slated to release.
  10. Personally, I don't see a $650 Sail Barge selling if it is JUST the Sail Barge, but inevitably it would be a full sail barge with interior, plus at least one skiff, and a great figure selection. That being said, don't expect it this year, but I could understand why a Sail Barge could be that much.
  11. Finally pulled the trigger and got 79018 and have 79003 lined up to get from a friend, so that'll be good. Excited to finally have Smaug in hand.
  12. The fact that Jabba's is 75357 is not from a reputable source. The part count of 1394 is legitimate, but not the fact that it is Jabba's palace. That was just speculated.
  13. Not quite the same, but I made this at least:
  14. As noted before, I wouldn't expect this set to release this year, if it does come. Hopefully it'll show up next year though. I would love to see a Zelda set made, as much as I haven't played a ton of the games.
  15. Yeah, per the Target barcodes, the set is now up to $80 for some reason. We'll see what happens from there.
  16. Wow, 21338 Rivendell looks just like 10316 Rivendell
  17. It isn't that LEGO Star Wars designers aren't fans. The love and care that they put into so many sets, as well as going the extra mile and putting non-canon clones into sets, etc. says something. I don't think we can say that the LSW design team aren't huge fans of the IP. That being said, certain designers/teams may like one trilogy more than another, etc. However, we have to recognize that LEGO is trying to make what is popular anymore. They're balancing new shows and content with having lots more PT and TCW sets than we had between 2014 and 2020. Additionally, they're keeping up with a lot of OT stuff for fans of that trilogy as well (and prioritizing those few topics over ST sets because they aren't popular (sorry for those of y'all who love them)). Just because they haven't really quickly whipped up a Captain Rex doesn't mean that they don't care about fans of the character. Development time is a thing. From initial rumors saying it was an anniversary set to its release, LEGO completely changed the direction of the AT-TE to include a Cody. We can't say they aren't listening. As an OT fan... This hurts because it is true...
  18. While the meme is popular, they aren't going to make a $70 diorama for a quote like that (since that is the price-range they've chose for these). If anything, I could see an AOTC diorama for the Droid Factory, but that would be about it. It's the only more enclosed scene that would work for a $70 setup imo. And I'd agree as far as only wanting a fraction of sets anymore. As an OT guy personally (and liking a lot of PT stuff as well, especially vehicles/scenes from EPIII), with so many sets being just around new material or Clones, I'm not interested in a lot. Heck, the dioramas are some of the few sets I actually collect at this point for Star Wars. If they did another solid ROTS wave like in 2014, I would be so happy, but as it is, another Clone vehicle doesn't do anything for me. OT Fans: I miss the desert. I miss the sea. And I miss waking up every morning, wondering what wonderful OT battle pack the new day will bring to us. LEGO: Have some more clones PT Fans: I hate sand
  19. The biggest question for the PT is less of what hasn't been made so much as what LEGO would make as desired playsets/vehicles for kids within viable price points. It's easy to say that LEGO never made a $650 Naboo field with some cows, so they're underrepresenting Naboo in Episode 2, but no one would buy that (well, someone would, but that's an outlier). The thing is, we've gotten a good amount of TPM sets covering all the main scenes. We have the Podrace in 4 sets (plus the Podracer box and Watto's Junkyard), we have two Gungan Subs, two Flash Speeders, lots of N-1s, 2 Vulture Droids (E1), 2 AATs, 4 Sith Infiltrators, 1 Final Duel set, 3 Trade Federation opening scene sets (Republic Cruiser and 2 Jedi Defense sets), 3 MTTs, Naboo Swamp, Kaduu, etc. While there is definitely more they can make, and stuff they can update I don't think we can say that TPM scenes are underrepresented. They've definitely represented all of the main scenes well. If anything, the main NEW thing I could see them actually making would be a Lucrehulk at $170 or so with some microscale N-1s and such, but that wouldn't necessarily sell all that well to general audiences unless it was packed with an interior or good figs (the Rexcelsior from TLM2 was another microscale $100+ ship, and I don't think it did all that well for kids). For Episode 2, we've had a comprehensive Battle of Geonosis across multiple years, especially 2013, but that is the main thing. While I would agree that sets like Jango's S1 is deserving of a remake (and Bounty Hunter pursuit (or just put a new Zam in the S1 like Zuckuss was in the 2019)), there also aren't that may good vehicles or basic playsets for LEGO to make. They aren't going to do a $350 Coruscant just to have Death Sticks guy and the worms that attacked Padme in a set, just like they aren't going to have a $30 Balcony scene with Anakin and Padme's wedding. As much as the figs would be cool, they wouldn't sell for the main audience of system sets: kids, or, in the case of Coruscant, it wouldn't do well enough for them to make it at that price point most likely. Don't get me wrong. I would love to see some arena beasts made, or Padme's ship (in LBG, inevitably), or a remake of Jango's S1, but we also have to recognize that every set, from $25-$650, has to be something they know will sell, and a wedding scene or Naboo fields just won't, even if they "increase the catalog of Episode 2 sets." While I'm not saying that people necessarily actually want those, it is something to consider.
  20. If this is the wrong place for it, please move this, mods. So as to avoid going too off track on the DC thread to the point of inciting the wrath of a moderator (I jest, for the record), I figured we could move our riddle games here for DC characters.
  21. I'm not as familiar with DC as I probably should be. I know more Flash characters than Batman (apart from generally knowing those Batman characters that have shown up in film or LEGO representations) Just created a new thread for the riddle games in the culture & multimedia forum for the sake of staying on track with LEGO stuff here (as much as we ever do): DC Comics Riddles Thread - Culture & Multimedia - Eurobricks Forums In any case, very interested to see what the Batcave looks like this summer.
  22. Created in 1992, sometimes ally of Batman, zealot... Definitely seems to be
  23. Took some investigation, but Azrael?
  24. In any general case, it would be early to see CMF leaks. There are rare exceptions, and perhaps this falls into that, but just saying in general.
  25. This is far too early for the CMF piece to leak IF Moon Knight is in the CMF and uses these. If the piece real, it is possible that they are used in Ninjago or something beforehand, which would make more sense time-wise. We shall see.
