I reckon the answers to this in this thread on this forum might be a little skewed :P That said, its 3 for me. I say this as a guy who only bought Rivendell of the three big ones lately - but that excellent set is enough for me. And sure, I'd like to see Helm's Deep or Edoras done in a similarly compressed fashion, but I don't think they'll be done as well as Rivendell was. Both Baraddur and the Shire are kinda weak designs in my eyes, so they're trending in the wrong direction.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Yoggington replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Well I picked up Tudor Corner and I am very impressed. There's a lot of clever techniques packed in here. I'd say overall it slots in the top five if I were to rank them. Certainly my favourite since the Hotel. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion

I wonder if the reason Lego include the scannable codes is to stay on the right side of loot box / gambling laws. -
The video was very blurry, I had to turn it off after 26 seconds.

This is a pretty easy pass for me on first glance. Although I will steal that fence technique with the boomerangs, that's rather clever indeed.

Another way to beat Billy Bookcases modular width issue: (make it a height issue instead) -

Just to throw this out there, has anyone considered this is an 'overland train'? i.e. not running on tracks. See these old school arctic trains for example: https://www.hemmings.com/stories/54-wheel-drive-the-letourneau-electric-arctic-land-trains-that-put-australian-road-trains-to-shame/ Similar to set 60378 (Arctic explorer truck & mobile lab) with extra carriages. -
Excellent work my dude.

I love this, and have supported every iteration. It gets more appealing every time you change it, like the builders are advancing the build. Any chance you have a pictoral record of each final submission side by side? -
So you just paste the url link now, and the forum takes care of the rest, automatically embedding it as an image (or video, or reddit post, etc.). Make sure the extension is included - the .jpg, .png or whatever. E.g. if you post " https://i.imgur.com/rVcd1J9.jpeg " Then the forum will turn it into You can revert it to a plain link by clicking the little pop up Alternately, you could attach the image to the post, but then you will suffer some size restrictions and put extra load on the forum. Better to host it elsewhere and link.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I DMd Hikouki, but for the sake of anyone reading this thread later, the best fit I have seen for the way they wants to set is is likely the Ikea Regissor, example: If money is no object, the best set-up I've seen uses 'Store Counter Displays', but it can get expensive. Example: And last but not least, a fair warning to all that while Ikea's Billy bookcases seem to be perfect, they are actually about a stud too slim once you measure them internally instead of going by the docs. Example of the issue (and a hacked fix): -

Do you want extra room in front of the modulars to feature a road, or is the depth of a base plate enough? Do you want open-sided shelves so you can create a 'street' with multiple units against each other? And if not open-sided, will you place multiple units beside each other anyway? How many modulars are you hoping to fit on a single shelf? Do you want lights, or the ability to attach lights? Whats your budget? (Just roughly - is it tight, cheaper preferred but willing to spend, or lap of luxury money is no object) What country are you in? -
You should get outside your comfort zone more often, this looks fabulous!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion

I think it's the perfect storm of being both a castle-potential-army-builder, and having a very decent animal included that's created such demand. I know there have been plenty of calls for a full Castle cmf from fans, but how about a 'Pets' set? That could be ace. -

@henrysunset Could you possibly post a better picture of the internal dome above the central statue is? i.e. the bit you call out as "This relies on a new part marked 7202 which is a half-hemisphere with a diameter of 6-Studs." -

The creativity on show here was off the charts. Congrats to all the winners, but really, congrats to all the entrants. -
I note that Nestle are also included in the suit. I'm not sure that's a fight Musk can win.

Unfortunately there is a slim chance despite common sense. The comment section on that article is an absolute mess. One of the worst parts about the current American Political regime is that it brings out the worst in everyone.
