  1. Dumbledore's office location in the Hogwarts model is at the top of the Main Tower. For this reason, when thinking about the new set, I supposed it could be based on CoS, with his office put in upper part of the tower, partly in the roof section. So, having Dumbledore's office in the Main Tower set would be coherent with the model, while not coherent with the main PS scene depicted in the set. In my opinion we might see the office in the Main Tower set.
  2. Never been at Warner Bros London studio, but isn't the Hogwarts model inside Art Department - Warner Bros. Studio Tour London one of the most recent version of it? I would say HPB, cause in DH the viaduct and main courtyard are very different.
  3. Not really, but it's true that untill now a very big part of the castle is based on PS. Dueling Club and likely Herbology Class are from CoS; Owlery is from GoF.
  4. I agree. I was surprised by the PS leaks... I thought we would have seen a CoS set. It would be a whole coherent set, from Dumbledore's Office to the Chamber in the dungeon. In any case I can't wait having some more info about the sets.
  5. Isn't similar to Flying Lesson set? $69.99 for 548 is 0.122 ratio; $79.99 for 651 pieces is 0,127.
  6. That's a good point and I agree with you. But I think that people loss of interest is just part of the reason for the reduction in buzz in HP forum discussions and excitement pointed out by @krimimimi Absence of minifigure leaks and text description leaks reduces the engagement. And maybe there's less new people in the thread, that could be excited for something they've just started collecting. I don't know about any of you, but I started collecting Harry Potter LEGO in 2018 and I know that any new wave will probably have less and less interesting thing to arouse my excitement.
  7. CoS is my main guess. Then, but a lot less likely, in my opinion, OotP. Well, not totally unlikely, I think. The Viaduct could be part of the next year big set (imagining it'll be the Viaduct Entrance); not sure about tha small bridge in the back ground. I'm doubtful about it at the moment. I would say no. PS. I would say Lovegood House and Camping and Doe scene from DH. Hungarian Horntail is a good guess. Hogwarts Express is too recent, I think. I hope yes, just to have more variation. In the end, I think LEGO will produce something DH related. So, yes, I think we could see a DH Ron.
  8. He posted in his stories a screen from his 2023 April Fool's post with a tick near the first four statements.
  9. Likely the real motivation with that chose was budget not diversity. Designers had no more budget for adult Ron and Hermione and their two kids. So they tried to hide it with a diversity splash - and by far, it had been better for them to put students from Ravenclaw + Hufflepuff instead of Gryffindor + Hufflepuff. And then there was also the absurd statement on the importance of having minifigures Hogwarts outfits, as if someone could be confuse by their absence.
  10. The wait is getting unnerving
  11. I'm not sure we'll have the Clock Tower. This section doesn't appear both in 71043 Hogwarts Castle and in 76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds. It's true that in the first set even the Astronomy Tower wasn't there, but between the two sections I think the Clock Tower is the most sacrificable. There's also to keep in mind the 3 years planning LEGO seems to follow: in 2018-2020 we had Great Hall, Clock Tower and Astronomy Tower; in 2024 we've already seen the Great Hall, in 2025 we'll have the Main Tower and so there could be only a spot for a big set in 2026 - and for display purpose Astronomy Tower is more important than Clock Tower... but there's also the possibility that LEGO decided to produce the DADA Tower instead the Astronomy Tower - this last one appears only from HPB I believe. And there's also to consider that one spot could be occupied by a Quidditch related set that it's missing from this new castle. Standing to your question on OotP, I think a lot will depends on how big is the Main Tower. Will it have only the Main Tower or also the Quad Entrance and the near smaller tower - the one with the bridge to the Viaduct Entrance? If there will be only the Main Tower, the Quad Entrance + Small Tower could form a next medium set and accomodate something from OotP (Umbridge's Office, Room of Requirement... in this case in the underground sections there could be Slytherin Common Room with Malfoy and Pansy as member of the Inquisition Squad).
  12. Until now we haven't had hints, just educated guesses like Dumbledore's Office or the fact it may have a common room inside - it would be strange for the most detailed castle missing some of the common rooms.
  13. Talking about sets already on shelves: last Christmas time I built the 76440_Triwizard Tournament: The Arrival set. I want to spend two words for Durmstrang ship: it's amazing, a really well, well done building. The hull is impressive, the shape is very spot on and with all the tiny details and the fabric sails and flags I find it a perfect model.
  14. Oh, well, I've a bunch of set before Lovegood House like a Tent and Patronus set from DH. As on how likely is it... who knows? But, I don't think it's impossible. It's not a minor scene in the movie (and book too) because info given by Xenophilius explain and drive the Deathly Hallows quest. It's Luna's house and she is a characters appreciated by a lot of fan even if she can't be in the set. There's also a bit of action, so LEGO could put two masked generic deatheaters and entices other buyers. But yes, it's not so appealing from outside. That's a thing I've never thought about. I was 11 when PS came out and literally grow with Harry I don't even remember the movies' rating... here in Italy, on DVD boxes they're simply rates as "For All", without restriction or advice.
  15. Totally agree and I've read - I'm not an expert, but it's something you notice when you find out - that movies palette becomes colder and darker (blu, grey, brown, green) while the story becomes darker - from PoA.
  16. I've never put so much attention on movies, so maybe this is just an easily deniable statement, but in term of where main actions take place I would say that the more we go from 1st to 8th movies the less actions take place in Hogwarts. So, when recreating a castle, having to put actions inside, is unavoidable that first movies play a larger role than last ones. Than we have that probably for a lot of people, kids included, first movies - I will say surely from 1st to 3rd and in part the 4th - better capture the whimsical, playful, cozy essence of Hogwarts and magic than the last ones. So said, @BrickBob Studpants I think that the tower could also be based on GoF: with Dumbledore Office, Moody's Classroom and one random Common Room - Gryffindor or Slytherin, I would say - with at least Dumbledore, Moody, Fudge and Harry.
  17. I think ghosts could appear with the related common rooms. In this case, if Bloody Baron (and Slytherin common room) will be in the tower I would see it more likely paired with CoS, more than PS. Or just as a filler in a not-PS not-CoS tower. For me, I'm more inclined to imagine the tower to have Nearly-Headless-Nick and the Gryffindor common room. There aren't a lot of characters missing. We can colour green Marge and students can easily be recreated with existing parts or put by LEGO as random named minifigures in the main sections of the castle. Xenophilius Lovegood could appear in a Lovegood House future set, continuing locations out of Hogwarts like Malfoy Manor (but I'll prefer to see a Tent Scene with patronus and lake and, in any case, DH Ron). Mundungus and Rufus are those unlikely to be seen in the future, I think. Even less Firenze and Arabella Figg, any 19 Years Later characters and Gellert Grindelwald. And Ariana would appear if LEGO decide for a Hog's Head set. And at least until the TV series, I think we can easily ruled out only-book characters.
  18. Well, having it at least half-circle tower it's the minimum to expect from the most detailed Hogwarts castle a square tower would really not fit in it.
  19. Not really, apart from the rumor on it featuring the Hogwarts Express.
  20. On Brickmerge, nex to the sets we've already had rumors about there's also the polybag LEGO® Harry Potter 30706 Quidditch Training. Have a nice Christmas.
  21. Totally agree with your statement. For me, even when sets are revealed, the price per piece ratio is not a value to use all alone to judge a set.
  22. I don't know how does it work. In any case, I gathered a list of what we know for sure and as rumors for 2025. @Clone OPatra if it's you opening the new thread for 2025 and if you need it, feel free to use the text. 1st January 2025 76441 Hogwarts Castle: Dueling Club (24,99$ - 158 pieces) 76442 Hogwarts Castle: Charms Class (19,99$ - 204 pieces) 76443 Hagrid & Harry’s Motorcycle Ride (49,99$ - 617 pieces) 76447 Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lesson (79,99$ - 651 pieces) 76453 Malfoy Manor (149,99$ - 1601 pieces) 1st march 2025 76446 Knight Bus Adventure (49,99$ - 499 pieces) 1st june 2025 (rumored) 76445 Hogwarts Castle: Herbology Class (59,99$) 76448 Dumbledore’s Phoenix (19,99$) 76449 Book of Monsters (59,99$) 76450 Book Nook featuring Hogwarts Express (99,99$) 76451 Aunt Marge’s Visit (89,99$) 76452 Quality Quidditch Supplies & Ice Cream (99,99$) 76454 Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower (249,99$)

  24. What was leaked untill now: - Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower (249,99$) - Hogwarts Castle: Herbology Class (59,99$) - QQS and Ice Cream (99,99$) - Aunt Marge's Visit (89,99$) - Dumbledore's Phoenix (19,99$) - Book of Monsters (59,99$) - Book Nook with Hogwarts Express (99,99$)
  25. Yes, the image is a model from the CS Hogwarts layout, if i'm not mistaken. The Flying Lesson correct connection (considering Hogwarts appearance in movies) shouldn't appear before 2026 sets.
