  1. Lego Harry Potter section on Reddit. There was a link to an IG page, but the page was deleted. You can only read comments New leaks on January sets : r/legoharrypotter but it's not clear what was in the leak.
  2. The fact is that the iconic Hogwarts silhouette is the one with the Astronomy Tower. If you look on the box of the Main Tower sets you can even see the Astronomy Tower in the background. So taken for certain thhat we'll have the Viaduct Entrance section, I would say that the next big section of Hogwarts will likely be the Astronomy Tower, not the DADA Tower and Dark Tower. The only issue is that in the movie the tower the dragon is hanging from are the Grand Staircase Tower and the Dumbledore's Office Tower. As for the towers missing yet, I think the Astronomy Tower will likely be part of this castle and I don't think that the Hungarian Horntail would match well with the tower. I think it's more likely a set as the 2019 Hungarian Horntail Triwizard Challenge, maybe without the tent and with the rocky arena.
  3. What an idea: instead of the Astronomy Tower, LEGO could go for the DADA Tower plus the Dark Tower with Sirius and Buckbeak . What are the missing big creatures until now in this reboot of the theme? Buckbeak, but I don't know if it counts as big; Hungarian Horntail, but he better matches with a ground set with the First Challenge; Grawp, but he appeares only in the Forbidden Forest; Giants, but I don't really remember how they appear at the Battle of Hogwarts adn if they could match well with a castle expansion like Astronomy Tower - where I think it will likely be put Ravenclaw Common Room. So I think there could also not be a big creature in the set. As for the minor teachers, the only missing ones I suppose are Bathsheda Babbling and Wilhelmina Grubbly-Plank. And, of course, Carrows.
  4. Well, at this point I would be surprised not seeing two big castle expansions, one with Slytherin common room and the Bloody Baron (I think this would be the Viaduct Entrance) and one with Ravenclaw common room and the Grey Lady (I think the Astronomy Tower).
  5. Summer 2025 had this playsets: The Main Tower, Quality Quidditch Supplies & Ice Cream Parlour, Aunt Marge's Visit and Herbology Class. As you said, I think the large expansion will be the Chamber of Secrets and I think this set will represent the Viaduct Entrance section. Inside, of course, there will be the Chamber of Secrets and, I think, Slytherin Common Room, maybe a Myrtle's Bathroom remake and something minor, like the corridor with the Chamber of Secrets writing on the wall and the library. I think the interior expansion could be Lupin's Class. Flourish and Blotts as Diagon Alley expansion is really likely. I've no idea on what there could be in the Aunte Marge's Visit dimension. In my opinion, something from GoF or OotP or both, like a First Task or Voldemort Rising remakes and a Ministry Battle.
  6. I'm a long time collector, having started my collection in 2018, so I'm pretty satisfied with what I have, but there are some sets I strongly wish to see in the future. PS - Leaky Cauldron. I'm waiting this set since Diagon Alley and a lot of time I was tempted to build it on my own. PS - Detention in the Forbidden Forest. A set we'll hardly see, but I'd really like to have Firenze and an alive unicorn. CS/HPB: Knockturn Alley. Same considerations as for Leaky Cauldron. PoA: Lupin's Class. This is a set I strongly believe we'll see in the future, as a stand alone set, like Snape's Class. DH: Doe and Tent. Of course, there are other scenes I wouldn't mind to see (OotP - Minister Battle; HPB - Quidditch Practise; HPB - Inferi Cave: DH Forbidden Forest scene), but those written above are the main ones.
  7. Just a price consideration: with The Burrow (2024) price per piece ratio this set would have cost 349$; with Gringotts (2023) price per piece ratio this set would have cost 289$; with Diagon Alley (2023) price per piece ratio (after price increasing) this set would have cost 262$; with Diagon Alley (2020) original price per piece ratio this set would have cost 232$.
  8. Yes, that's it: - 76467: Luna Lovegood House 90$ - 76470: Flying Ford Anglia 80$ - 76463: Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing 100$ - 76464: Caulderon: Secret Potion Class 60$ - 76460: Hogwarts Castel: SSorting Hat 15$ - 76461: Cornish Pixie 30$ - 76459: Hagrid & Harry's Escaping from Privet Drive 20$ - 76466: Philosopher's Stone: Collector Edition 170$
  9. Both sets are on LEGO web site: Villaggio di Hogsmeade™ – Edizione del Collezionista 76457 | Harry Potter™ | LEGO® Shop ufficiale IT and Castello di Hogwarts™: la Stanza delle Necessità 40770 | Harry Potter™ | LEGO® Shop ufficiale IT.
  10. Yes, likely, and at this point I expect the Dumbledore Army scroll from Hogsmeade to be in this set too.
  11. The 1st of September GWP should be a 202 pieces Room of Requirement set.
  12. It's Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop.
  13. And The Burrow, last year, had 2405 pieces for 260$. Now we're talking about 3228 pieces for 380$. With The Burrow price per piece ratio, Hogsmeade should cost 350$.
  14. I agree with you, the problem is the ratio between what you received and what you pay. We can say that we don't receive enough for what we pay or, looking from the other side, that the price is too much for what we receive. In general, I really think this set is overpriced - a common critics nowadays - and I'm not sure I'll end up buying it.
  15. The set is what I expected. In the end it's more similar to multiple playsets melted in one. In my opinion, more massive buildings - like Diagon Alley - would have ruined the general view: Hogsmeade iconicy is based on willowy silhouette, high chimneys and roofs covered by snow, while Diagon Alley is meant to be massive, imposing, crowdy and full of objects. Probably the set is also meant to appeal Winter Village collectors and likely it could easily blend with those sets. Surely, the cons is that the set seems to have a good appearance, but surely very little depth and interiors suffer a lot. But that's the trade off, I think. Diagon Alley had good interiors, massive buildings, but more horizontal and not vertical development. While Hogsmeade needs willowy roofs and high chimneys to create a sense of verticality. Having bigger buildings in Hogsmeade would have need even more height to keep proportions. But I found the same issue in other sets - like Malfoy Manor - good outside, but narrow or lacking interior. Talking about minifigures, the characters roster is interesting enough and I don't think we could have expected something really different. McGonagall would have benefited from a printed skirt, Fudge is a really lacking one, but the others apperead good to me. But the very strong cons are the black box - but that's an own personal idiosyncrasy - and the price. 380$ for 3228 pieces is something to think about (0,117 ppp). Gringotts - that had also vault cart track and dragon - is 430$ for 4801 pieces (0,089 ppp), but also The Burrow (0,108 ppp) and Diagon Alley, with the current price (0,081 ppp) have better ratio. In the end, I have mixed feelings about it. Well, considering that this year I was waiting for Hogsmeade set and the Black Pearl one, I agree with you.
  16. It's reported that the official reveal would be the next week.
  17. Three Broomsticks isn't an inn or pub too? And I remember the too dark scene argumentation to justify avoiding some scenes, but then we had Dobby, Bellatrix and a knife in Malfoy Manor so I wouldn't rule out Hog's Head from the set. Wasn't it presented as a Charlie and Chocolate Fabric leak? The Half Blood Prince scene in Hogsmeade is snowy and not so clear, but for me the leaked image isn't Hermione coat... but I'm also colour blind Half of them hadn't: Scribulus, Flourish and Blotts and Quality Quidditch Supplies. You can see the horse here. In my opinion, probably LEGO will use an existing horse, like the Dark Orange one.
  18. As probably to be expected, Hogsmeade would have scenes from different movies: Prisoner of Azkaban (Fudge, Mrs. Flume, McGonagall, Carriage Driver, Rosmerta), Order of Phoenix or Deathly Hallows (Aberforth), Half Blood Prince (Katie Bell, Slughorn, Draco). Plus Harry, Ron and Hermione.
  19. Interestingly the DH one has Harry, Hagrid and the sidecar on it. In some time we will be able to verify how similar it is to the next January set
  20. You missed: 76461 Cornis Pixie - 30$
  21. I missed those piece of information .
  22. This evening - at least here in Italy - I've asked T & N Bricks on Instragram about the suggested Hogsmeade set and if this will be minifigure size. This is the answer: It's this year D2C for Harry Potter. Releasing in September. Diagon Alley equivalent.
  23. I agree with you. Apart some sets - like Hogwarts Icons - probably the majority of Harry Potter sets are playsets that can also be display - well, it's also true that LEGO fans display every set The fact that nearly every set is a building or a vehicle and a lot of them is meant to be put together to form Hogwarts castle makes displayability a thing. In general, I think the difference between playsets and display sets is often nuanced. Some people, I think, tend to overlap playset/display set considerations with price and target considerations, mainly with expensive sets. Last year Great Hall set and this year Main Tower set are high price sets, targeted to older teens, adult fans and wealthy parents... but are playsets.
  24. Yeah, like Dobby's sock... oh, wait
