Heroica RPG - Quest #116: The Tale of Two Faces
K-Nut replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Might as well try the theater while we're here. We can talk to some witnesses from the last attack and see if they heard anything back here," Althior examines the weapons next to the door, then makes his way towards the fountain and moves the wheel, trying to see what is under it, if anything. -

Althior surveyed the environment. He hadn't been down this way since his last encounter with the watch. He looks for any doors or nearby buildings that the courtyard has access to. -
Maybe not something you can place on top like Jabba's Palace, but I could see it being something like Baronsat's MOC where you place them by each other.

MEC Category B: A Feast in the Hall of Minas Tirith

Very nice! I really like Architecture you were able to create. Really reflects the feel of Minas Tirith. The emblem of the White Tree on the floor is a nice touch too. -
Really liking the League of Assassins, Aqualad, and Fox. I absolutely love Cloak and Dagger! Nicely done!

"Please, not another Night at the Theatre. One mystical play was enough for me," He turns to Benji, "I would try tracking the thing down if I were you. Even if you only get so far, we could find some more leads by knowing where it's going," -
Either way works. I've seen the Iron Man helmet work, but I prefer the printed head like in the video game. This version looks pretty good to me: The Red Hood (Masked) by The Knight (KJ), on Flickr

"Yes, but times change, do they not? Mr Carvenhall and I are known as Dragon Slayer's, yet I have no desire to go after this companion of yours," He winks. "Hey, that makes one of us..." He stares down the Hatchling. "I won't even mention the Wolf's den," He examines the blood, "Seems like we could be having a shape shifter of some sorts on our hands. Makes it a lot easier to hide," "I can try communicating with lingering spirits, but I doubt I could understand what the animals have to say," He turns to the Detective, "Where did this thing kill anyone, if anywhere? I could see if there's any lingering info over there," -
Laketown Setup by K-nut16, on Flickr That's how I have mine. I haven't done much experimenting with it, though. There's probably some better options.

Althior equips the Winged Sandals He looks to the woman "Name's Althior Emorith. And you are? What exactly did you and your husband see here tonight, ma'am? Also, what was your business at the Hanging Gardens?" Althior turns, slowly, to look back at the detective, "Come again? How on Olegeia have you been missing something that large?" Perhaps the watch was even more incompetent than he had believed. He then drinks three potions, a nostrum, and a mead. This work was more exhausting than he'd thought. -
I've seen this layout which I thought looked good. My personal setup has the smaller part from Laketown Chase (where Bard is standing) where the larger part (Tauriel) is and then I have a gap between the two for Bard's boat to go through. Works well enough for me.

I felt like they had the perfect opportunity to put them in with the SDCC Batmobile or as a separate SDCC Exclusive. Dunno if they'd put him in a D2C, especially if it could be this Wayne Manor one they're talking about.
-
Not sure if it's a sign, seeing as it looks almost identical to the Christo figure, but it does look like we could get a Wayne Manor set for next year. There's a few Batman players they haven't made yet such as Red Hood and Ra's.

MEC Category C: "Farewell, King under the Mountain"

Beautifully executed build! The architecture behind the scene looks great, and what a wonderful use of the new figures! Good luck in the contest! -
It was the same thing at my Target when I checked this afternoon. Didn't even look like there was a spot for them, just kinda thrown into the shelving last minute.
-
Picked up every set from TLG besides the Lonely Mountain from the new wave. Absolutely love them all. Bo5A is very nice, and the full Laketown looks great.
-
There could still possibly be a wave in the Summer, seeing as Marvel was able to have two waves last year. Not sure how likely it is, but it's still a possibility. Plus, 2017 will probably hold off for some Justice League Movie sets, too.

I think that all the large bricks in the Bat-Mech make it look bigger than either of the subs, but the Invisible Jet is about the same size as both of them. Now that I look at it, the Piece Count in the Manta set is higher than the Grodd set. A Croc Bigfig would've probably made it $50 I'm guessing.

Althior wipes a bit of blood from his mouth, "You have no idea," He mutters towards the detective. Been a while since he'd been in a battle that intense. "What happened to those screaming people we saw earlier? They may have some idea of what happened here if it's involved with our little issue," -

"Need the Asp anywhere, Hoke?" Althior follows the plan. -
Yeah, but the Grodd set managed to have five figs and a bigfig for the sake price as Manta. The builds seem bigger in the Grodd set too, so adding a Croc bigfig wouldn't have been a problem. I'd gladly pay an extra $5 or $10 for him.
-
That's what I'm guessing. The shot of him in the woods and on the Quinjet make it look like he's losing it, which would make another rampage plausible.

Ooooooh they look nice! Like the shady Vegas feel they have.
