  1. It's very nice to see that this got approved. the model looks spot on to the character design, and it's very cool that the real animator created the model. This is one of the rare times where I feel like TLG could get away with copying the model exactly. This will be going on my desk for sure.
  2. I could see them having the main game, then doing a bonus DLC for each Netflix show. They could do it just like the DLCs for LB3. I'm not thinking that AoS will make it into the game besides maybe their characters showing up, but these other heroes definitely could.
  3. I wouldn't think so, but R2-D2 counts as a mini fig in Star Wars, meaning K-9 may count as a minifig here.
  4. I apologize I misread it. It says fan concept right under the picture and I took tht for the image of Capaldi himself.
  5. Not sure how I feel about that rumor. It would be nice to get all thirteen, but it would mean a large price sticker and a lack of other figures like companions/enemies.
  6. They did say that it was just fan art on top. I'm seriously hoping that it's an interior/exterior set. An exterior isn't too playable for kids, at least not as much as the interior would be. If there is an interior, there is no doubt in my mind it would be Capaldi's (though I wouldn't turn down Eccleston's/Tennant's ).
  7. Seems cool to me. There's so many Doctors and companions and enemies that I'm afraid of what we'll end up getting, though. I've always thought that this theme would do good if it followed the path of the Simpsons; a semi large set with key characters as well as a CMF series for the rest (in this case, the thirteen Doctors and perhaps a few enemies and/or key companions like Sarah Jane). Really, I'm just hoping for 10 and 11 in the set. 12 is probably a given seeing as he's the current Doctor, but the other figures depends on the size of the set.
  8. All depends on the part. Changing hands don't usually cause cracking for me, though some figures like my 2014 Robin, Batgirl, M.O.D.O.K, and Falcon have all cracked arms without changing out their hands. Arms can crack the torso, but for me it's never been an immediate effect. My main problem with torso's cracking these days is changing out the legs. My Green Arrow, Thorin Oakenshield, Aragorn, and Power Man/Luke Cage figures have all cracked from trying to swap out legs and give them different designs. Safest thing is to not change anything, but otherwise (by my own personal experience), changing hands works pretty well.
  9. Once you start watching Angel, there's a character on there that seems just like the type of voice you're talking about. I've always thought of Althior sounding like Alexis Denisof/Benedict Cumberbatch. Both of them have deep, hollow voices and can sound arrogant at times, all of which are characteristics of Althior.
  10. I absolutely love interpretive builds like this, and yours is just that. The crumbling ground and the darkness beneath look great and organic, as does the white tree. Nicely done.
  11. Big Sister Bear = 12 o'clock, Magenta Cup, Pie, Black Coffee = Deaddy Bear = 6 o'clock, White Cup, Cupcakes, Red Tea = Snooty Bear = 8 o'clock, Red Cup, Donut, Hot Chocoate = Naughty Bear = 2 o'clock, Pink Cup, Pretzel, Coffee = Broody Bear = 10 o'clock, Yellow Cup, Croissant, Black Tea = Baddie Panda = 4 o'clock, Blue Cup, Cookies, Green Tea Some errors, I know, but might as well start with this.
  12. I've always used Frodo's head. Then you can have a transformation expression (the scared face with green eyes).
  13. As is Beast Boys.
  14. I was really tempted to comment on that, but it was too out of character for Althior. Finnegan would have made that same giggle.
  15. I would have been fine with option A. Then it would just be like the small interior room from the Super Star Destroyer. Allows for some minifig scale, but still gets the rest of the model looking as good as it can be.
  16. "Not exactly. We're just, well, passing through as they say. Who's this 'big sis' you're talking about? Does it look like her perhaps?" He points to Lilly. If these things were going to be as stubborn as the dolls, they might as well get them out of the way as soon as possible.
  17. Final Duel looks pretty good, so I'll probably pick that up. It'd be nice to see some other looks at Vaders new helmet, though. It's good that there's a cheaper way to get C-3PO's printed legs, but I feel like they're totally misused on Santa-3PO. Reinder R2 made me laugh, though.
  18. Plane looks like a pass to me, but I'll probably pick up the lighthouse. It's not the best set, no, but with some mods I bet it could look pretty cool.
  19. The face looks fine to me. The hairpiece (at least in that picture) looks very unfinished to me. Hopefully it looks better in person.
  20. I'm not sure if it's the facial expressions alone that make the bigfig villains look constipated. Their hunching postures seem to do the trick too.
  21. "Might as well finish searching this floor while we're here," Althior says, before leading the party to the kitchen across the hall.
  22. Althior tosses the ribbon to Lilly, "You can make better use of this, at least for now. Regulus, maybe give Alexis some of your armor for now? The Duplovian Helmet may help negate all of the damage she was taking." He drinks a Nostrum and a Mead "Where to next?"
  23. "Not trying to sound like Docken here, but I think this voice in the sky would have called this off if it were actually Lilly,"
  24. I think that's just a render from flickr. If done right, this game could be very good. I'd have preferred a LEGO Marvel 2 Game, but if this can encompass all the MCU films, it could be very cool.
  25. "Let's finish this then," Althior casts a Lightning Spell at Lilly from the back row Battle Order Althior Arthur Alexis
