  1. It seems the GWP is now out of stock?
  2. There's really something about the new interiors that make it look somewhat incomplete. It is also interesting that on the Disney shop pages, they have non-Lego merchandise of both the Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty castles. Lego should really seriously think about making the latter!!!
  3. I am seriously thinking of buying it. I have the old one but have not gotten to assembling it. I was going to hold off on the new one, but I am seeing that it does look like quite a substantial improvement.
  4. Massive!!! Excellent job on both the exterior and interiors!!!
  5. Totally agree! So, no August release for Disney? And nothing after October?
  6. Brick Clicker did mention that the packaging will likely change. What is the likelihood that the contents might change as well? Or are we really stuck with this castle until the next anniversary? Wasn't it that what came out to be the Royal Clamshell was initially listed as Princess line? There are several arguments for and against this item number being mini fig-based and not minidoll. Minidoll: It is listed under 'Disney Princess' Minifig: 1) Royal Clamshell precedent; 2) The designer of the clamshell implied on his interview with a YouTuber that Disney-Lego now has an 'adult strategy', implying that they would like to cater to AFOLs clamoring for minifigs and not minidolls. What is the likelihood that (whether it be minifig- or minidoll-based) it will actually feature Belle and Beast? I would really love for it to be so. But Lego-Disney could as well reserve them for a future CMF #4, or future set altogether. Yup, not popping up in the usual places for me. Would it also be possible that an unannounced catalog number gets produced? LOL Lego needs to maximize the anniversary year and produce as many sets for it as possible!!!
  7. I'm interested in this as well.
  8. I do prefer the color scheme on this one as well. I was really hoping the rooms would be different - showing vignettes, and not just featuring objects referencing tales, just like the last castle. This just shows you that Lego/ Disney really just intended this set as a remake or a 1-for-1 replacement of the previous one. I do hope we get the Sleeping Beauty castle one day, with actual rooms.
  9. So it looks like that the last three sets are releasing in October (?). 43231 - 509pcs - $49.99 (Disney Princess) - [I'm guessing this will be a mini doll set containing the rest of the princesses?] 43223 - 154pcs - $19.99 - [Given the inflated price of Disney sets these days, what could this be??? A poly bag??? LOL] 43224 - 613pcs - $99.99 - [Is this our only hope for Belle and Beast???] No release date for the Agrabah Palace. Disney Camera and Peter Pan sets will both release in September.
  10. Looking at the Peter Pan lifestyle pics a bit more, I am not convinced that the holes on the side of one of the buildings is for a connector to another scenery. Wouldn't it have to be 1) on both sides; and 2) on the plate/ base itself.
  11. In the interview with the Clamshell designer, he said that the new version of the little mermaid is Disney’ re-telling of the story for generations to come. They are attempting to over-write the original story. I feel like we won’t get any more sets from that tale. Hope I’m wrong. Belle and Beast are the biggest characters we are still missing. After Wendy, and hopefully Belle, we’re only still missing Raya and Mirabel (counting from the roster on the mini dolls princess battlepack).
  12. Just saw the lifestyle photos. That castle wall is a huge improvement from the previous. Looks amazing! If this were a Sleeping Beauty set, I bet people would be flocking to buy it and probably sold out on day 1. It would be interesting how the sales of this set will be in comparison to the previous castle version.
  13. Interesting they already revealed a September set, but the castle is yet to be officially revealed. Three more sets to go… one is labeled Disney Princess. I would bet this would be a mini doll set containing the remainder of the princesses not in the battlepack. One is a small set, and the last one is $100. Perhaps this might be the Beauty and the Beast set???
  14. That's a great idea!!! I would want one CMF series for each theme! LOL But more realistically, I think Lego could just combine Pirates, Castle, Vikings, City and Space in one CMF set!
  15. I like the idea of another Main Street, or Town Hall. It can host the Christmas festival in front!
  16. That's a good point. OTOH however, the castle is partly (perhaps even largely?) sold at Disney shops and Disney itself has a hand in the choice of castle (and minifigs). Part of its shelf life will depend on Disney insisting to sell and feature it and not another castle. I do wonder what Disney and Lego plan on releasing as the Train and Station replacement, if at all.
  17. Not Japanese...but there is a Chinese restaurant modular on the Bricklink Designer Program. Of course, I am rooting for it!!!
  18. Hopefully, Lego hears this! They need to make the Japanese buildings to house all the Japanese CMFs from the past years! (And they should make more Asian CMFs!)
  19. Disney fans were all worked up when Aurora released in the CMF - people were complaining that she looks like Princess Peach!!! LOL It would be funny if Lego releases Peach, and she indeed looks like Aurora!!!
  20. There was a sonic + egg man set that was revealed after the current batch. I was referring to that one. Set no. 76993.
  21. I am not a fan of the 'buildable' minifigures. People were speculating that the Mario line could get a reboot. Aren't all of their sets going to be discontinued? Was it late this year? An influencer speculated that if true, CMFs might be possible. Yoshi can possibly borrow the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' shell. That minifig line also has some bespoke moulded torsos.
  22. How about a "reverse corner"? That way, it can host a farmer's market.
  23. Been rooting for a series of modulars to showcase a Japanese street... I don't think Lego is inclined to make modulars specific to a particular city/ region or culture. There's a copy-cat-Lego that is made in China and they have three or four modulars that connect together to form a Japanese street. (I have two of them, and I would like to build them with Lego parts but I think some of their inventory does not exist in Lego colors)
  24. How come that last egg man set has not been listed yet on the Lego web site?
