  1. I have almost all of my minifigs and bigfigs neatly arranged inside IKEA Sannahed frames with a custom printed background. However, I just realized that larger bigfigs such as TLBM Killercroc, LOTR bigfigs won’t fit! Any suggestions for deeper frames, similar in size to Sannahed, or perhaps any other product out there?
  2. Might anyone have any suggestions as to which frames might fit these bigfigs? Killercroc and LOTR? Been searching around and IKEA's US offerings are quite limited. :(
  3. Might anyone of you own the Killercroc bigfig from TLBM? I am wondering if it will fit inside an IKEA Sannahed frame? I just ordered that bigfig from BL, and I am in the process of ordering some custom Sannahed display frames. I know that the regular bigfigs fit very well. Some of the LOTR special mould bigfigs do not fit Sannahed frames.
  4. I wonder if the adult gorilla can "sit down" and also be able to move its head, just like the big cats and the bears.
  5. Is there any villain, batsuit or any other character from The Lego Batman Movie that has not been made as a minifig/ bigfig?
  6. I imagine they would’ve been molded heads just like the Looney tunes and Muppets CMFs. If they were, I wouldn’t necessarily think they would look un-Lego-like. But perhaps having bespoke molds for each character would’ve cost too much. I agree, they could have at least given us a deer!!!
  7. Wasn’t there a Raven minifig from Dimensions???
  8. Wonder if they’re just gonna reuse the minifigs, or there will be an exclusive one.
  9. I feel the Bugle was groundbreaking in that it was modular style, it contained many minifigs, and included characters we never expected Lego would make. Ditto. Ditto. Ditto. Plus all BTAS characters on the stickers in that Gotham set.
  10. So the following characters that are featured as stickers have never been made as minifigs : Scarface The Ventroloquist Babydoll In addition, Clayface has featured as a brick built figure but not as a minifig.
  11. I live in the US. Shortly after the Rivendell release, figs were about $15 or so, but now are about $15-25. For all 19 figs, I might as well get a new set.
  12. I'm not sure yet if I will get the BTAS art set, but I do like it very much, and much more compared to the bat cave. BTAS also resonates more with me as I grew up watching it.
  13. The price of the minifigs has really gone up. I was looking into buying the Rivendell minifigs off BL as a second set from the Rivendell set itself and they would cost over $200 to get all figs! Might as well just buy another whole set.
  14. A month and a half away - perhaps we will get some leaks of some animals by April or so.
  15. Whoa, even without a steady stream of releases, this DC/ Batman thread has overtaken the Marvel one in terms of the current number of pages. LOL So it seems as though Lego is mostly releasing just a few large D2Cs each year and a scattering of small releases in between as far as DC/ Batman goes. I wonder if we will ever see some more Burton or BTAS characters in the future? I am mainly a minifig collector and would very much love to see those lines continue with more characters/ minifigs.
  16. Wonder if we will ever get at least a CMF at some point???
  17. Lots of excitement... when are we seeing these sets?
  18. Is there a separate DC design team at Lego? Are they generally paid less than say, Marvel? I imagine they would be less paid than SW? If not a separate team, perhaps the team is just so busy with SW, Marvel, and Disney? LOL
  19. I’m hoping that Lego would be as aggressive in their support of the DC theme as they have always been with the SW theme, and recently of the Disney theme. For ages, minifigs under Disney were hard to come by. It seems as though Lego has been adapting more to the market with their recent themes - they just gave us a classic Snow White cottage, which would have been unheard of two years ago. Royal clamshell was a flop, yet Lego didn’t stop there. LOTR got resurrected, etc. We can only hope.
  20. That box, at least for me, opens the wrong way. It takes up too much space when opened. They could have made the front flip up or down to reveal more play space. The car is redundant with another release. There aren't enough minifigs. Etc. Sad if it is true that it is likely a flop.
  21. Rivendell is very expensive but worth saving up for. Maybe the shadow box is just not even worth saving up for. I buy most super hero D2C’s but I just couldn’t get myself to get this one.
  22. A bootleg brick company is selling some fairy tale books in this form, but of course without minifigs. I do wish Lego would really give a thought to making these.
  23. This is even better than some of the BL submissions! Hope you can make the instructions available one day! This is a really solid build! Good job!
  24. Hmm, you're right. But I think what they probably meant was that future production runs will be without the 100th anniversary logo. There was even something like that on the Lego web site - to buy it now because future packaging will be different. (I remember thinking to myself that collectors would not necessarily jump on buying a copy just because of the packaging. LOL)
  25. Found this mini head! It is actually from BTS Jimin!
