The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well, actually... http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/superhero-earns-13-billion-a-748281 But yeah, it might be the case that for some odd reason Batman makes more money for them than good old Spidey. -
I agree! He got +3 after the tie. He's earned it and I'd love us to get to the quarter finals!

Did not expect 3 ties. Can any good souls give poor Hazmat the win? He's putting up a good fight!

Apparently he was winning a while ago. I think this warrants some extra time to give the Hazmat his well-deserved chance. This is too close to call!

Knight beating the king. Sounds like a military coup to me. Also, Hazmat fell behind again. Still has a chance, though.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Really excited about these new sets. I hope the Bat Space Shuttle (which I might be tempted to buy) comes with an astronaut suit Batman. Also I really hope we get Easter Batman at some point! Anyways, thanks for the new info, guys! -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

Oh, the ivory! -
Fair enough. Historic/fantasy. Well, I expected more love towards the sci-fi figs and the suited minifigs. I thought the Hot Dog man would be one of the final contenders, and never expected the Satyr or bagpiper to come this far.

Voted Hazmat and Frightening Knight. Unless the Hazmat can beat the Roman, historic minifigs will be over represented on the quarter finals at 50%...

All right, can we get back to the actual rumors then? The licensed series? -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

Well, can we keep talking about the licensed series? Right now the most plausible theory is that it'll be HP/FB. Any of our kind sources mind giving us a nudge in the right direction? Otherwise, I take it we'll just have to keep waiting. -

Well, the sh072 is marked for deletion because it doesn't include the round pieces on the feet. Same reason some early minifigs with flippers or skates had entries without those accessories, and they were marked for deletion and had a new entry made including the pieces. The actual figure should include those pieces. I used to not care about the round pieces on the Iron Man type figures, but after a while I realized they complement the color scheme of the figure. -
How could she not??? Lady Liberty comes in an unusual sand green color, has detailed printing, a unique crown piece, and even accurate accessories. The chef is not a new idea. Just an updated and improved chef. I'm sad to see the Tiki Warrior go. Also a little disappointed that the deadline has been extended. We already have 63 votes.

He can still make it. It's still a toss-up. The first match is unlikely to change, though.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Don't mean to go too off topic, but for starters, we never got the 2015 and 1885 variants of Marty and Doc. I'll have to look for some good customs some day. I'll admit that I am not sure that one could make a whole series of 16 characters from BTTF, though, which is why I wished we got more sets. But I digress. Honestly, I'd still be happy with a HP universe series. Who knows? Maybe they would revisit some of those minifigs that are now super expensive to get on the secondary market. -
Sounds like it'll be up to Lady Liberty to free us from the cake tyranny!

The silver lining for us space fans is that we can just grab popcorn and watch people who still have their #1 fig in the game go at it. Also, looks like the Sea Captain will be salty after this round! He certainly overstayed his welcome!
