Review: 6860 The Batcave
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks for the review! It's nice to get a closer look at this set. I like the figs, and it looks like even the small vehicles in it are very well designed. Could anyone here with both batcaves make a comparison? -
Yes yes, absolutely! This this! I really hope they hit this idea sometime... We NEED an invisible man, and this is a good work around. If transparent hands can't work because of the articulation, even if the arms are made of regular ABS, then they could make them white, as you suggested! I hope they are listening in case they haven't thought about this... Although, the only thing I'd change, is putting on a white torso on the fig, so the neck isn't as visible through the head.

Wow! This is great! You're very skillful, considering how you transformed those sets into this awesome outpost! I do feel that the M-tron line of sets should have included an outpost (as well as all the other Space themes that didn't), so I'm glad to see yours, especially since I would say that it's up to Lego's design standards! Kudos, and thanks for sharing!

REVIEW: 7346 Seaside House
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Pandora's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I hadn't been a fan of the Creator theme (I can already see a mob forming against me), but the reviews here at Eurobricks have made me realize how good the models are. This model is full of detail and great design, and it's superior to many of the licensed sets that previously caught my attention away from this theme. Thanks for the detailed review! I don't have the space or money to get this beauty, but one can dream! -
Collectable Minfigures: Worth the Hype?
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Derek's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I didn't know that happened. I have used Bricklink to collect series 1,2,4,5, and 6, and I definitely recommend it. I'm purchasing series 7 soon. There's shipping costs, but it's worth it, considering that you need to do no bag feeling. -
Lego Nintendo DS Cases
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to ACPin's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Wow, I definitely wasn't expecting this. It's great and interesting to see how Lego has expanded beyond their comfort zone. I wonder if the figs are glued. -
I love your design and I'm very impressed at your skill. I have already supported this, though. I really hope it gathers up support!

Lego Cuusoo
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Crtlego's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Whoops. Sorry. I swear that I didn't see any tab labeled "Official Lego comments", hence I was perplex. That's a bad screw-up Lego made there, keeping people's hopes up. I wonder what criteria they use to tell project owners that their projects won't make it, even before reaching 10,000. Oh well, it seems like they don't know it either. I guess that's why it's a Beta phase. -
Minifigs of Bence Kádas

Wow! Amazing! Makes you wish that they released them all as CMFs. Newton has got to be my favorite. Kudos, and thanks a lot for sharing. -

I searched for official Lego comments, but didn't find them on the project page. Were did they state this? -
I wish we were getting something for the 35th anniversary of Star Wars. Something like a Special Edition Millennium Falcon, with exclusive figs perhaps.

I searched but couldn't find the info. Did they explain why they archive some projects before they reach 10,000? -

Sure. May I humbly suggest that this be added to the MOC index? -

Pity. It'd be a great source of figs, that's for sure. -
850449 LEGO® Minifigure Accessory Pack
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Bricksan's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks. Yes, ever since I saw those calendar figs, I thought that they couldn't have guaranteed that. However, I don't think that we can expect theset to happen much; it would probably make people go less after CMFs if they knew that the figs are going to be re-released for sure later. -

Thanks. Just out of curiosity, could Lego release these magnets unglued if they wanted to? I mean, considering there are Marvel and DC action figure licenses, would they have licensing issues like they did with Star Wars? -
WOW!!! That video is very impressive! I had never seen anything like this. At first, I could only wonder how it works... I thought that after seeing it in action, I would get a better picture of that... But no, I'm just as perplexed as in the beginning. Some other awesome creations in that video by the way. Thanks for the link.

850449 LEGO® Minifigure Accessory Pack
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Bricksan's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Looks nice indeed! I have one question, though. With these, now we have two re-releases of CMFs (the other being the calendar). And I think that when Lego was about to launch CMFs, they said that the figs were exclusives to the theme and wouldn't be released in other sets. Do I remember correctly? Because if I do, then they clearly haven't stuck to that (not that I'm complaining; I'm just curious). -
Star Wars Duels, take two

Yeah, I apologize for that. I just saw these among the topics with new replies, and didn't notice they were so old. -

Yeah, but there's always some that slip through. For instance, this one is not in the index, as far as I know. -
Hulk promo minifigure for May 16-31

Wow, thanks! I might be getting the fig after all... The pants were the part that bothered me the most.
