  1. Same, I would absolutely love to see a yearly (or maybe every two years) release of a ninjago modular. Im also building my own moc version so I have something to go along side the gardens, as I wasn't able to pick up the other 2 ninjago city sets. Probably my biggest lego regret. ive got an L shaped section of the city, with 1 corner module and 2 16x32 modules on either side. still gotta build up the second floor on the corner module though, and I need to order more water tiles. those things are pricy, and I have no clue how the guys over at brickcon managed. lets hope the gardens will sell well, and im definitely picking one up.
  2. Bingo! Looks like this is the background for the boulder blaster box art before they put the picture of the model behind it. This means that there is often box art that we don't get to see, as the main model takes up the space. Interesting.
  3. I've already put forward this suggestion, and I'm fairly sure this is going to happen. Tommy said that 2021 was gonna have lots of call backs to earlier seasons, and considering that the main villain has a lightning staff, and that the bounty was over a jungle (I believe it was prime evils eye) and the setting of the season 14 sets seems to be jungle themed, this is entirely possible. also, welcome to Eurobricks and the forum! edit: found the quote from Tommy: "A lot of back history, reintroductions of classic stuff, characters and call backs will be coming. The story lines even hinge upon it." - from twitter. also, I think its nice that we can talk about things other than the gardens. I know I'm completely in love with this mysterious set, but im also liking these season 14 sets as well. already got my custom island ninja suits done, so don't worry about diverting from the gardens.
  4. Well, you beat me to it . Is it just me, or have I seen those towers before. I keep thinking of season 4.....
  5. Its on promo bricks, so im gonna assume its ok to post. Brickset hasn't put it up yet though. I cant seem to upload the photo as I can only upload 51.2 KB? I don't know how to combat this, you guys probably know and anyways, I think almost everyone has seen the teaser by now.
  6. honestly, I'm not sure .Its just turned up which makes me question wether I can post a picture of the teaser image. It came from a German January to may catalogue and promo bricks reported on it. am I able to post the pic?
  7. At least we have confirmation, and I think this confirms the February release from lego as well. My reasoning being that the original rumour was that it would be a jan first release exclusively at lego, then March first wide release. If the march first wide release has been shifted by 1 month, that would also mean that the January release would have moved to February. Could it have been delayed either my Covid or something else? Either way, I still have to wait an extra month. I've also seen some people saying that the temple complex in the picture is an illustrated version of the set. It does seem to line up with the outline from promo bricks. Are we allowed to post the picture as its from an official lego catalog?
  8. Credit to Albricks studios for the information, (thanks man!) but the legacy ninjago sets are apparently available to buy on the kohl's app. I'm in the uk, so it's not much use, but if you're from the US, grab them while you can! I've no doubt that they will probably sell out fast. The review for the titan mech has been put up by bricksbymind, and I have to say, it's impressive. Its decently big, and has an amazing price. Lego really outdid themselves with it. Also, the back actually looks good as well. @Brick Clicker, im also hoping for that mid January release on the gardens, and maybe a January 1st if we're lucky, but unless they are seriously keeping this set under wraps, we should of gotten something by now. We've barely had any new information about it this month.
  9. Goddamit, I thought you meant that the sets description.... these details have been up for about a month though. In other news, a YouTuber called bricksbymind got all the legacy sets apart from the battle sets and the gardens. Cant wait to see that titan mech, I'm loving how it looks. Also, as we get closer to January 1st, I'm coming more onboard with the idea of it being a February 1st release. Still hoping jan 1st, but unless they're gonna pull a Diagon Ally move on us, we got another month to wait.
  10. so ive just downloaded studio (from BrickLink) as my friend recommended it. im trying to get set 70260 in the building 'world'. I would like to get 4 of them, and put them in a square, that's literally it. but I cant find out how to get an official set on.i can build it, but there's no way im gonna be building a 4500 piece set on there. apparently I need to download a set file from eurobricks, but I cant find anything here. can you guys give some pointers please? im just trying to get the model fully built into the studio so I can fiddle with it, mod it and move it about. help?
  11. I was thinking last night about how the gardens would be revealed, and here's an idea that is quite far-fetched, but it is possible: Ninjago's anniversary is on the 14th of January. (I'm aware that you said that lego probably won't care about the shows anniversry, and that the 10th anniversary will be across the whole year) Many old articles claim that the gardens was a mid January release, and promo bricks are now saying just 'January' on their page. The anniversary is in the middle of January. They could do what they did with Diagon Alley, and reveal it on the anniversary in a big ' happy birthday ninjago' thing and then release it the day after on the 15th, which isn't technically the middle of January, but its close enough. The dates all line up, its just a case if lego has decided to go with it. There's obviously demand to see this set (just look at this forum) and there are many YouTube videos saying the same thing, and many you-tubers as well. Anyone got any other ideas?
  12. I'm pretty sure the reason the parts were changed was because the designers were tweaking the models just to get stuff right, like what they do with the prelim models, like the epic battle sets. The kai one had the temple build changed slightly from that pic in the magazine that leaked a few months prior. Or they could just be removing something like a small boat, like that one from the flying jelly sub. One of my favourite side builds to a set ever btw. I wouldn't be surprised. This does ruin my plan of getting the gardens for Christmas though. I'm beginning to think that the gardens will be a feb release now, as we haven't had any new leaks in a while now. not even figure leaks. Oh well, will have to wait till February then.
  13. Could mean "ordered" and also, if this leak comes from a guy who owns a shop, isn't it meant to be a lego exclusive? What I heard earlier this year, it was going to be lego exclusive release on January 1st, then wide release march 1st. The march 1st could have been changed to a February 1st wide release, still meaning that we could get it from lego January 1st? We could do what happened to Diagon Alley, and see a teaser for it in the last week of December?
  14. o7 Waiting is not my strong point though. Well, I'm happy we are getting it either way. My favourite part of these modulars are the colours, and the way the water is done. What about you guys? Hope so for all of the people from the US on this forum. I’m in the UK, and I think we need a shop over here like kohl’s or target. Maybe checking your local Waterstones? The epic battle sets are definitely a stand out from this wave. I’ve seen many people view them as throwaway sets, with the highlight being the mini figs. I’m actually a massive fan of the builds though, and my favourite is the Kai one. I’m a massive fan of small temples and this one definitely caught my eye. Might try and get it on eBay. Any one got suggestions on how to get one in the UK?
  15. I hope so, I might send an email......
  16. I was asking what things from ninjago you would like to see as sets, that's all!
  17. For those of you who have watched the TV show, if you could pick one thing from each season to have as a lego set, That wasn't made into a set, what would it be? I'm aware that this isn't really the place, but I'm curious what you guys think? For example, the dragon hunters truck that assisted in the hunting during season 9. It would have been a perfect £17.99/$20 set to expand the dragon hunters arsenal. Or a 'battle of the first spinjitzu masters tomb', a set kind of like the gamers market or the ToE set coming next year. 5-7 minifigs, including a new Morro figure, a gold statue of the FSM, 3 ninja, the realm crystal and a ghost. Could be a good way to introduce the other future ninja figures. Thoughts?
  18. Please, pay no attention to those messages. I hadn't realised the prices in other countries, or its Price per part. I was tired and stupid. It was a poor lapse in judgement. Very poor. I had just glanced over the pics and nothing else. Looking at the baseplate size, I'm even gonna pick it up if I get the chance. Again, I'm sorry. I'm an idiot. I would appreciate any tips you guys have though, you have all been here way longer than me. Again, sorry.
  19. Ok. I feel like I should probably apologise. What I did yesterday was childish, and benefited nobody on this forum. Im sorry for that, I was tired and probably should have gotten some sleep. As I said before, reading back through my old messages, it looks like I am nothing more than an over excited child. Im sorry to every one who has to deal with this. A couple of you have asked me to quieten down, and I shall, so don't worry about that. I will take a break here, stop spamming everyone and unless there's new pictures or rumours, lay low a bit. The rant I had yesterday was stupid, useless and childish. Looking at all the amazing sets lego is putting out for the 10th anniversary, I think its fair that they can charge a little over what I was expecting. This is an amazing community, all of you, and I don't blame you if you all get annoyed with someone firing off 10 replies at a time. I understand that there are people here who are not hyped as much as I am about a set that we don't even have pictures of. I'm sorry, I understand and I hope you do as well. I wish everyone here the best, and a happy holidays!
  20. @Peppermint_M, Yes, sorry. I am dyspraxic and dyslexic which means I have trouble with punctuation. I will quieten down now, I was tired and overhyped. Sorry for the disturbances guys. Reading back through my messages, I do give off the appearance of an over excited child. Again, sorry everyone for the disturbances. This is my fault and I will accept responsibility. Have a good day everyone!
  21. alright guys, probably should of got some sleep before I wrote that rant, and all of your points make sense. I was tired, sorry guys. just mad at how lego is handling this gardens situation.
  22. ive been thinking about the ninjago set prices for the UK, and IMO lego has been kinda scummy. this price increase on The LEGO sets are getting..... interesting. im talking about sets that generally in the £25 range. the Mando set I can kinda justify, as its a Star Wars licensed set, but I wasn't too happy to see the same price increase on the ninjago sets. mainly, the ToE set. now, at face value, £28 for 7 minifigs, 4 of which are exclusive and a good build seems great, but if you compare it to other prices from around the world, that's where it goes downhill. im aware that the currency rates change all the time, but at the moment of writing this, this set in the UK costs £28. in the US, it costs $30. chuck this into the google currency converter and it says that we should be getting £22.69. this is not ok. I can let it slide with the ToE set, as it comes with some great and exclusive figs, and the Mando set as it comes with grogu, but the overlord dragon? nope. £28 for 2 minifigs, a (IMO) crappy dragon build and nothing else, it just feels like a rip-off. lego knows fans have wanted an overlord dragon for years, and they give us overpriced crap. some people like it, and that's fine, and some people like it just because its the overlord dragon and weve wanted it for years. but lego needs to step up their game. luckily, the other legacy sets can make up for this, the titan mech especially, and the gardens, but this just feels like legos going for the cash grab just because its the 10th anniversary. all these sets look like they should be in the £25 range, and yet there now £28. my brain just rounds that up to £30, bc its weird, and also a £3 increase is fine if you plan on getting one set, but for an avid ninjago collector, it can add up. this all wouldn't be so bad if the prices did change with the other country's, like the US. it just dosent feel right. hopefully lego will go back to the old £25 price. also it sets my OCD off with the fact that all of the sets are rounded so nicely to 5s and 10s, and then we have those 2 sets coming in and ruining it. so, to the UK ninjago fans, thoughts and opinions?
  23. if they say that they cant share anything rn, then they obviously know about it, but are probably under orders not to talk about it. but they could of just slipped up...... your doing it every morning, im doing it every half hour..... I feel like I might be going slightly insane with the dedication to this set. we could just declare it a god by now......... ok, so my conversation with promo bricks goes like this (this is in the comments of 1 of there videos): Hey promobricks the Chinese New Year gardens set bears quite a similar resemblance to the smaller baseplate part of the ninjago city gardens. Can you confirm now that the ninjago city gardens set is real and is coming out on the 1st of January? I’ve seen a lot of people compare how the gardens set looks a lot like how the arrival about ninjago city gardens on your website is described, with lots of greenery, a small pagoda with curved roofs and a bridge. Please tell me this isn’t true, and we are actually getting the gardens set!?!? they reply with: Who compares those sets? You can tell them that those are 2 different sets. ? I then question: Does this mean that we are getting the gardens as a Lego set in 2021? Please confirm they reply: Yes the Chinese New Year Gardens and the Ninjago City Gardens are two totally different sets. I don’t know why anyone would think they are the same? ? I reply (joyfully): @Promobricks your description for the pagoda part kinda matched the look of the Chinese new year set, with a small temple structure with close colours, a bridge and lots of greenery. thanks for the info guys!
