I’ve heard it’s on the Canadian website but I haven’t checked yet. edit: it’s up there. This further proves that they might of put the set up by accident. -

Brick fanatics say on their news article to stay tuned for the full press release at 9AM tomorrow morning. They say it in a way that seems to imply that there is a press release, and with the gardens being up on Lego, I have to wonder if they put it up by accident and they are gonna have to keep it up there. There’s nothing under the features page, which is my reasoning. Who knows? One things for sure, Lego has botched this release big time! -

Honestly, the set which excites me the most is the ultra sonic raider, but not because it’s being remade. The fact that it is being remade shows Lego isn’t done with season 2 yet, and we could still get a Cole’s tread assault, which I’m desperate for to complete the 4 golden weapon vehicles -

If that’s the case, then apart from the temple, we aren’t getting any bad guy stuff. Is the fire dragon confirmed to be kais? It might be that the villains are actually fire based, and such they have a fire dragon? -

I was going to say, if 71749 was a legacy remake of the final flight, then by the time it comes around, we would have the hydro bounty, the legacy bounty and this one all on shelves at the same time. Excited to see what they do with the ultra sonic raider..... -

Brickset have updated the ninjago city gardens set pictures on their website (this isn’t on the news page, it’s just on the gardens set page) it shows high quality images and you can see most of the interiors of the buildings. The ninjago museum is worryingly sparse, with not many artifacts. The painting from hands of time can be seen, (the monastery battle) and it shows that the green building on the left side appears to be occupied by an artist. You get a good look at the posters that can be swapped out, one is a shark, one is a couple of motorbikes there is also a pic of the arcade machine, that has a function where you push the joystick up and down and the picture behind the screen moves Scratch that, ninjago city gardens is now up on shop@home! This is the link! I guess we’re not getting a press release after all. https://www.lego.com/en-gb/product/ninjago-city-gardens-71741?CMP=AFC-AffiliateUK-oSv%2FvWYkQIY-2014326-124738-1 -

Did it not? Hmm I thought it did. The 2017 set had a press release and was exclusive to Lego. I’m not sure if the docks was either, but I don’t think it was a Lego exclusive. Whilst the gardens is technically a Lego exclusive, it’ll have a wide release in may. On the other hand, it is the big ‘10 years of ninjago set’ so I would of thought they could do something. I’m sure the gardens will get a press release, but Lego is being annoyingly quiet about this set. -

So A lot of people on brickset are saying that there isn’t a press release because Lego don’t want to draw attention to the set, and I kinda agree. Lego might know that the set will sell well, so if they don’t really announce it, then they can manage stock a bit more. However, we still have a day left, and as some people have said, the 13th is marked on the calendar, and there must be a reason. But this is a set to celebrate the 10th year of ninjago, and not having anything to go with the set just seems to be a bit odd. This is one of Lego’s best themes. We don’t usually get press releases for ninjago but this should be an exception. -

Ok, I was thinking the other night, what’s the chance of the gardens set selling out? Im having concerns about the stock, and i do not want to run the risk of myself waking up in the morning and seeing it out of stock. I’ve been hyped for this set since it’s rumour back in August, and I cannot afford to have to wait till that thing is back in stock(especially considering Lego’s restocking has been slow during this pandemic) I doubt that it will sell out overnight, but as I said, I cannot afford to run this risk. I’m sure you will all tell me that my suspicions are false, and it will be fine, and I appreciate that. But I’m still anxious about what could happen. -

I agree with the ‘limp over the finish line’ part, and I think what Lego are trying to do is keep the set completely under wraps and surprise us with this amazing thing that we’ve never seen before. Unfortunately, they have to deal with the internet, and there’s always leaks. Lego does not have the capability to squash out every little bit they see on their set, and it’s impossible to keep it a secret. I will admit though, they’ve stepped up their game when it comes to parts leaks. Apart from Lloyd, we’ve had no part leaks for season 14 as of now. But Lego seem to have a lack of planning when it comes to sets, with most leaks coming either from an employee or if a magazine is released early. This is what’s happened with all of the ninjago 2021 sets so far, however the gardens is a strange example as everyone has seen pics of it, there’s videos everywhere and yet they still won’t reveal it. Lego needs to grasp the fact that leaks will happen, and that they can’t keep it secret. Sometimes a set will have to be kept secret for a reason, like if it’s delayed, but for a set that’s been made and ready for distribution since at least November, I honestly don’t know what’s going on. Maybe it’s just a stubborn worker who wants to keep the news from going out. Either way, let’s hope Lego will learn from their mistakes and we’ll see a nice clean reveal for the next ninjago wave, although season 14 has already been leaked (again, in their own catalog). Season 15? -

Promo bricks have posted higher quality images of the gardens, and it looks amazing. Im now feeling better about that price hike, it seems justified with the sheer amount of detail. For one, they use the ninjago weapons pack from SOTFS in green (like the jade blades in the ToE set) as vines and foliage. If you look at the balcony on the bottom floor, on the front building, there's a green scythe sticking out of the bottom. Also, the walkway on the second section that wraps around the side is removable, as there's a straight gap along the plates where the 32x32 space ends. I dont know what lego is doing about the reveal. Someone said here that the gardens release will go down as one of the strangest and weirdest set releases ever. I couldn't agree more. -

Me and my friend are both getting this set, I was asking if it would be possible to build it ‘opposite’ before for that reason. I can see if I can post a pic when both are built up, but it took Jangbricks 10 hours (not counting breaks) to build the 2017 city, so it’ll be a long one. As for the expand your ninjago city section, I’m not sure if that’s a set? It’s not the stone masons workshop like I thought from the docks, and there isn’t a building like that on the 2017 city, nor can I find one in the gardens. It appears to have some sort of Reed like plants coming out of the water. -

Im not sure if the green buildings balcony is removable, as there is a door there, but the one below it on the street level should be removable and able to be put in the other side, as there are technic pin holes on the opposite building (ice cream shop). The green buildings balcony shouldn’t be a problem if you own the docks due to the height difference, however if you want to connect it directly to the city or if your building your own ninjago city modulars like me, then that’s a real problem. -

Where's this track piece? I'm gonna assume your not referring to the red roller coaster piece on the second level. -

I was looking through the ‘official’ pics for the gardens and in literally every photo they show the very top of the turquoise spire, zane is just hovering there he’s just standing in thin air with his hand grasped around the antenna of it. I honestly believe that this could be one of the best ninjago sets ever, only outclassed by the temple of airjitzu and the original ninjago city. -

If we’re gonna start talking about NPU, may I direct you attention to the chest lids used as roofs on the lavender building? Or the black sausages on Chen’s noodle house used on the awning, or maybe the black axes used for the ice cream parlour roof? The designers really go all out when it comes to the roofs in ninjago city! -

Man... another shot at getting the other 2 modulars without paying £100-200 extra would be amazing! Let’s hope this sells well enough to see if Lego would bring back the old sets, as I don’t think a new modular is completely off the table, but I feel like they would bring back the other two sets before we get a brand new design. It would just make sense considering it’s advertised on the box and the designs are there, ready and waiting. Also, apologies about the wording on one of my last posts, should of read that through a bit more, but you get the idea of it. -

Ok on promobricks’ news page on their website, there’s a pic of the gardens that shows a view of it connected to the city, docks, pagoda island and then the gardens (in that specific order) the height difference is almost worst than the docks connected to the city. I can post the pic, or you can look at it yourself. Apparently LCS brickworks leaked it, I have to think that they had the pics from LAN, and leaked them when they got them -

I agree, the fact that the street level walkway on the docks just cuts off just doesn't work. However, if the balcony that wraps around the side is removable, i'm gonna take out the pagoda island, connect the gardens to the docks like in that pic and then move the pagoda island and the walkway to the other side of the gardens. Also, the roof height on Mistake's(I still cant spell her name ) tea shop should also give enough clearance for that balcony that's connected to the green apartment Theres a pic that shows the ice cream shop clearly, and there appears to be a stairwell behind it to get to the 4th floor. In the ninjago fans apartment, there's a red 1x1 with a clip (upwards facing, I cant remember the name of the top of my head) followed by a light blue one. There is a 1x1 quarter tile in white clipped on to both of them. I believe these are actually the catamarans from the season 14 set! The colours are right, and I cant think of anything else they could be? -

Looks like it's the official pics, but not a press reveal or any word from lego, so it must still be a leak. Not gonna post any pics, but this set looks amazing! -

What is the delivery speed for the UK right now from Lego? I’m honestly considering getting express shipping for the gardens as my friend brought the Titan mech set but it was stuck in the warehouse for a solid week. Do sets move quicker through the warehouse when you have express? I’m just wondering what the actual time difference is as express is (very) expensive. -

Ok so the Uk price for the gardens has been found, and it’s confirmed to be £275? I was under the impression that it was £260? I’m not too happy with that, as it means that I have to re think my current money situation. But the main thing is that the gardens is still $300 for the US. The original ninjago city set was $300 US and £260 in the uk. Granted, almost 600 pieces for 15 is good, but it still doesn’t feel right with the US price staying the same. This could just be down to brexit, but I’m probably overthinking here. Definitely disappointed with the £15 price hike, but I guess I’ll have to deal with it. -

Dude. This is incredible. Kinda surprised at the gap between the pagoda roof and the second level walkway, but it’ll look better next to the city. This is amazing! You can now get a decent idea of this sets height as well, as measurements are good, but seeing it all connected is amazing. I have a feeling that there is a ladder on the wall that is facing the tree, that runs up the right side (looking from the back) and the ladder stops/starts at Chen’s noodle house. I say this as there doesn’t seem to be any kind of barricade to stop people falling through that gap. I hope so, as it’s the only thing we haven’t seen yet, neither here or in the catalog.
