  1. Well aware, I'm just interested because its different. lego has partnered with clothing companies before, but ninjago isn't really something that has had much clothing. its generally The Lego movie or something like that.
  2. I’m sorry guys, I’ve made a mistake. I’ve seen many people go on about ninjago ending and I did believe it. I see now that you guys are confident that it will stay around, and I hope so too. Ninjago has pretty much helped me through my life and I’m sure it’s done the same to you. I agree, I messed up. I’m sorry for that. Where can I find this teaser? I’m actually interested in how this will turn out, seen as this seems to be for adults. It could focus on the darker seasons, like SOG, or it could be all round. Kinda unfortunate that it’s reveal is on the 15th, not the 14th, but oh well.
  3. I was part of the group that was certain that wu was new, but I didn’t have much evidence to say with it apart from the fact that you would have been able to see the fire details on it, but that could of just been lighting. Glad we have confirmation. Unfortunately, for people who want to buy the minifig, you can’t just use kais torso now. I have realised however that the wu in that image doesn’t have a golden head, so we can’t really go off that. Also Lego’s media like this can’t be trusted sometimes, so until we get real pieces in hand or in good quality, we can’t really tell. I’m still thinking wu is exclusive though
  4. So over on Lego leaks on Instagram, a pic was just posted of what appears to be golden anniversary Lloyd and nya in an illustrated version. At first I thought this was fake, but a link was posted with it, I followed it and it led do a shopping site with that book that has the 10th anniversary legacy Lloyd minifigure. It lets you flip through the book and in the 4th page, there it is. I can post the link if you want, but you can’t see much of the minifig. It’s blurry, and turned to the side so you can’t see much printing. It does have a recolour of her hair piece though, with the hair band thats usually silver now in cyan/light blue/azure. I do feel like this was created though as just a bit of media, and this doesn’t reflect or reference the actual minifig that we will get. I say this as nyas hair in the season 14 line has the silver hair band, not this blue one that is in the book
  5. If we look at that image on the back of the box, there’s a walk way that wraps around the side of Chen’s noodle house, and it seems to be removable, but then there would be a gap there, but above that there’s a balcony jutting out of the green building. I’m not sure if that’s to big. Also, the side walk on the old city level just doesn’t seem to exist? I’m talking about the right side when viewed from the back, as there’s a little alley way next to the brown building, then the stone path just, stops? At what would be the front of the build, there just doesn’t seem to be anything there. I don’t know how it would connect with the other ninjago modulars, and also if you look at the back of the box, the walkway behind the old city just seems to be completely gone. If you put the gardens next to the 2017 city, the space by the elevator would just go into water, and there would be a flat wall, then without any texturing or sloping, just water tiles
  6. Wouldn't it be 4 if we're counting the pagoda island? The gardens is 3.5 and the docks is 3.5, plus the city it would be 4.
  7. That's it! I really think that's it! We know that there is probably no promos planed, it's too close to launch, and why else would they not of revealed it? its marked in the store calendar! Theres no other reason why there would be something on the 13th. if this is true, they are certainly gonna pull a Diagon alley on us.
  8. On the gardens of ninjago city set, the side walk had been lowered quite considerably on the lower level. Also, there dosent seem to be any girders or small walkways arround the top part of the city, it seems to be more built up, with actual walkways and barriers, not things like lattices and jail cell doors.
  9. I was under the impression that after 2022 there was no more things planned for ninjago apart from a couple of book tie-ins. I hope not, would love to see what they could do with all of it. Let’s hope it continues, and also, if the modular series does continue, what sets would you want to see from it? Ninjago city markets, ninjago city skyline etc.
  10. I like it, it’s a breath of fresh air from the rest of the bustling city. Me and my friend have both agreed to get the gardens, and we would like to connect them together (we don’t have any other ninjago city sets). I hope the walkways on the sides are removable, but do you guys think that it’s possible to build the main 32x32 section ‘opposite’? So instead of the ice cream shop on the left, it goes on the right. One thing that I’ve always wanted to see is someone getting 4 of the ninjago city 2017 sets and putting them in a square... would almost look like a strange castle?.
  11. Looks about right, seems to be in close design with the one from the downtown diner set. Yeah, I’m a little underwhelmed by this set. I was hoping there would be something to get you from the old world to the street level, as in ninjago city if you were a minifig, you could access every building. Dosent seem to be the case here though. Maybe one of the buildings like the one on the right, is like an elevator? Like fully enclosed, takes you up to the top. Although the ninjago fan’s apartment is right above it, so that’s a no go. Also interested how the water way will work. It looks like the water section actually goes far into the build from the back, which has resulted in it looking like the building at the bottom area a lot smaller. Also, if you connect this to ninjago city, there’s just gonna be a little bit of land with a tiny stone structure on it, and water just flowing into a flat wall. I’m saying this as if you look at the 2 small islands on the sides with the technic pin holes, remember how far in the build they were in the 2017 set? (For clarification, I’m talking about the 32x32 build, not the pagoda/temple baseplate). No walkway around the tree on the second level, another thing to mod in. I get that gardens are meant to be large and open, but this just dosent feel like ninjago city. I don’t know how to feel about this set. I’d give it a 7.7 out of 10. The city from 2017 is still 9/10, and the docks sits at a solid 5
  12. Well I predicted the titanium statue, however looking at the pics, I’m not too sure on this now. It seems very open and hollow. Kind of disappointing but I do like how the backside is more finished like the front. Yeah, not a fan of how open this set is, but I’m still gonna buy it
  13. Really? The left side? I thought it would be city on the far left, docks in the middle and gardens on the right, although because of the pagoda section on the gardens, if it’s put like this, the height difference would be even worse than the docks next to the city. Thinking about it a bit more though, I’m fairly certain the street level walkway wraps arround the left side, so it does line up. Will have to see official pics to see how they place it. Promobricks did say that the packaging advertised the extension thing, it’s just a case of if the modulars are actually lined up in a pic or if it just says ‘compatible with other sets’. Cannot wait for this reveal
  14. Yeah, I was wondering the same. This has re-ignited my hopes for a rerelease of the other 2 sets, as I didn’t have the chance to get them. I do hope this becomes a yearly thing, I would love to see different areas explored. I could dream about a ninjago city suburbs set, or a ninjago city market....
  15. They said in the article that the sets are ‘expressively advertised that the ninjago city gardens can be expanded’ This could be considered a leak so feel free to ask me to take it down, but this is the link to the promobricks article: https://www.promobricks.de/lego-71741-ninjago-city-gardens-2021/106965/
  16. I don’t think so, pics are usually distributed by LAN a day or so ahead of release so people like just2good and other big Lego you tubers can make a video on it, and release the vid at the same time as the sets official reveal. Where do the reveals usually happen anyways? Do Lego put it out on Instagram or Twitter or something? Either way. In the next couple of days, we should see pics!
  17. Promobricks just confirmed they have received images of the ninjago city gardens packaging. Reveal is imminent hopefully. They have described a lot of things, like how the entire blue tower is apparently removable, all buildings are enclosed (no dollhouse style here!). On the ‘unknown quarter’ there is a built water base, much like what we saw with the city. I cannot wait for this set. One thing that struck me though that I just realised was that there isn’t a water way or canal for boats in the set. There’s the big water section at the back, but no small water way like the city from 2017. Kinda sad, as that was one of my favourite parts. The smaller tower has 4 floors as well. I’m gonna guess that that is the one on the left of the catalog pic. This also means members of LAN have got pics I guess, so their videos for the reveal are probably in the works, which means we could be seeing it in as little time as tomorrow! Super hyped!
  18. I agree. One area ninjago has definitely been lacking in is the promo side. Hoping we get something like that cool temple and cart that the Chinese new year sets are getting. The 10 year anniversary is acknowledged in the store calendar, but no promos are listed. Maybe a new promo line could be like the mini modulars, but for the ninjago modular series? It would be cool to have those lined up on a desk. ore southing to go with the gardens, like a small boat build like the one that came in the city. Major brainwave: a small build of the titanium ninja statue!
  19. I was thinking about how the whole ninja aspect has kinda been almost forgotten in ninjago, story wise. The ninja are always riding around in mechs or flying ships, and almost every citizen in ninjago has heard of the ninja. While this does give us some amazing sets, one of the main things of being a ninja is not having an identity. The ninja are known throughout ninjago. The Lego ninjago movie did change this, and I did like the results, with no one knowing the ninja and seeing them struggle in school, only to be hero’s by night. I would love to see a season where the ninjas identity gets erased, or maybe they end up in an alternate realm where they don’t exist, but the rest of ninjago does. Would be interesting to say the least
  20. What sets are these in? I've got the wu and kai from TLNM destiny bounty. I know there are white and gold cards in the temple of airjitzu. I dont know about anywhere else. (edit) there's probably some in ninjago city and docks and I'm sure there will be some in the gardens (which we are still waiting for an official official reveal, not just 1 pic from a catalog).
  21. So I just brought the Titan mech set, and I have to say, I’m quite happy with it. This is a bit off topic, and is pretty much a review. It’s tall, looks great, lots of mass and has lots of cool new parts. I do have a couple of gripes with this set, like it’s weight. The mech, whilst it does have knees, it cannot really use them because of the limited mobility in the ankles. Because the mech is so heavy, the ankles have to support everything. This means that the designer had to make some compromises, and in turn, the mech has limited ankle mobility, and isn’t very stable. The colours are okay, but I think this is a case of the set looking better in the pictures, rather than in person. There’s too many studs exposed, too many angles and too many clashing colours. I’m also not a fan of what’s going with the shirking on one hand and the sword on the other. I think it should of been duel blades, but according to the designer in a Twitter thread, the higher ups wanted it this way. I’m also not really a fan of open cockpits for mechs in general. Unfortunately it’s quite hard to modify this one, due to the large triangle pieces at the front. The arms could also be a bit longer, but that’s just a minor nit pick. But this mech isn’t all terrible things. The legs and the feet look amazing, it’s only the ankles that hat could do with some work. I love the large shoulder armour, but it can get in the way. The spring loaded bolts are great, and the head looks awesome. The mini figs are alright, but when it comes to legacy, it’s really the builds you buy, not the mini figs. Almost all of the legacy villains just feel a bit lazy to me, with the same dude who’s not a generic henchman, but someone of some significance that you can’t army build. I’m looking at Eyezor really, Lasha and Spitta and the ghosts. The nindroids and skulkin were fine. It’s amazing to finally see Zanes hair in silver and golden digi jay is good, but without the screen to display his symbol on the helmet/head wrap it looks a bit empty. Overall this mech is good, but it could be better. I know I’ve said a lot of negative things about this mech, but it’s generally pretty good. I think it’s because I over hyped myself (again). I need to stop doing that. Writing this though has made me realise that the Lego mech building system needs an update. There needs to be a stronger joint introduced that can work for knees, ankles and shoulders. I say shoulders as if any of you guys own the fire mech from TLNM then you will know that the arms just tend to flop to the side. Any problems with this post, if it’s off topic and you want me to take it down, feel free to let me know!
  22. That makes a lot more sense than the secret titanium ninja statue idea, unfortunately. was hoping for that, but oh well. gold wu it is.
  23. I hope so, I love making custom mini figs and I love futuristic armour and prints, like what was in the Tron set Lego did a while back. Unfortunately, I think they’re gonna do what they did to avatar Nya in the gamers market, with hair and then a rebreather. I’m not sure though, as that would be doing hair instead of full masks twice in a row. As for the time twins, I’m more interested in when they will pop up. They’re original plan after the monastery attack was to go so far into time that no one remembered them. If Lego go down the route of ‘last season is a time skip focusing on the ninjas kids’ idea, then I would bet that that’s where they pop up again. I belive it is, as if you study the picture from brickset that has been scanned, you can see a gap in the bottom plates on the underside of the side walk, on the left side. Also, if you look at the preliminary image from a while back, you can see that the walkway wraps around the left side, and it’s on top of the pagoda/temple. The only thing contradicting my idea is that there is a black balcony on the green building that might be a bit of an issue. I’m interested to see what they did at the back, but one thing that bothers me about the gardens is how open it is. I loved how the city was so tight and closed up, with the little alleyways. It looks like they took the parts from the middle section and used them to build a ridiculously tall tower (73cm!) and the extra 800 or so extra parts went into the 16x32 section. It also looks more messy than the other sets, as each one was colourful, but had clear lines where each section ends. This one has a lot more details, but it makes the build feel messy and unorganised. Still getting it day 1, but I do want to see official pics soon. They’re taking there sweet time over there in Denmark.
  24. 10 days? Really? Wow. I guess we’re all still used too how slow 2020 was... still no news on a press release either, i think they’re gonna pull a Diagon alley on us again.....
  25. A new vidyo figure has leaked... seems to be a minifig with a flame yellow llama head mold and teal sunglasses. Im confused
