  1. I am looking for multiple copies of apache chief from the Lego Batman cmf series. I have a listing in the minifig trade thread. I do have a new general zod and a ninjago shark guy also
  2. Just picked up my seventh Apache Chief minifig for my wild west world. An undersized US cav regiment and many native tribes - one more with Apache Chief
  3. I have spoken to coworkers that have young kids and these parents take pride when their 5 and 6 year olds can follow the directions for the more complex teenage builds. There is a great level of pride that there kids can build at tgat level. The sets become models of accomplishment and remain as designed. I too would be happy with battle packs new weapons, animals (both domestic and wild) lots of horses and even a small hut
  4. Not excited at all for the upcoming series. As a castle fan I will be looking for scraps mostly on bricklink
  5. That photo should be in next fall sales catalog... I am just saying
  6. Don't feel slightest a bit for not having a santa figure we got a Jarl and he was regal enough. Job well done. Simple designs but elegant in execution. Not too many figures that this could not actually be a Lego Advent Calendar. One request is a group shot of all the designs together, but take a few days and enjoy Christmas first.
  7. Again an excellent model. You took a dark brown hand and added it to the finished pole piece that is in many lego sets in modern themes and transformed the piece into a wizard's walking stick worthy not just of gandolf but of the great merlin himself Great job if lego itself does not consider these designs for the first fan made advent calendar then they are not as smart as i think they are WELL DONE
  8. Just looked at Last Jedi set thet replicates Luke Skywalker's home and that would make a nice poor farmer home at the edge of a castle city. So far we have been given nice castle dwellings for well to do town folk. This could be something new.
  9. Day 17 custom print looks like it came from the lego factory so well made Kudos on this charactor
  10. Don't want to comment everyday but kudos to you for making your blacksmith interesting. The most over used civilian minifig inthe castle world and managed to give him a tool we have not seen put together in a set. You are some sort of nordic wizard
  11. On the cartoon show, Zane's face was seen in the bucket of water. When the twins flew, Jana took the shape of an eagle, held gleek in her talons and gleek held a bucket while Z ane took the form of water and filled the buxket. He and Jana would talk while flying to the crisis
  12. This going to be fun to watch. The theme or sub-theme was nicely done. Five factions red, blue, blue, chains crossed and axe over shirt were well done. Alog fortress and a very well made longboat. The cmf line brought in another viking, a female, a hun, a hughlander, a female warrior tribe and several barbarian types looking like Conan from the comics. All we need is something to raid
  13. Finally a reason to open the internet browser for the next 24 days huzzah
  14. They missed a big opportunity to link future to past... too bad
  15. Maybe ancient wonders and ancient cultures mught a tie in. A small pyramid with eygptian life, a small hanging gardens, wall of china, tower of babylon, and the other ancient wonders with that cultures life done in minifigs. Wagons, farm huts, livestock, fishing boats, children it dones not just have to be military or army related, just a line of five or so iconic world landmarks in micro scale along with the life of those people in minifig scale. Show the world the cultures may be different but people are the same all over. That is very much a lego ideal.
  16. They had no usefulness outside the theme. Completely stove-piped, with no applicability elsewhere
  17. I like the new apache chief minifig for wild west. With newer cavalry soldiers from the lone ranger sets there is a big upgrade and very realistic options for this theme
  18. It is hard to judge how a series will do. Having it released after Christmas won't be helpful. I never understood a January release. That being said, the blending of the movie main charactors with DC legendary figures and specific honors to cartoons from 1970s and the original DC Superman movie from1979 are great crossovers that have me getting entire series. Does help a little that the Apache Chief figure is wonderful add to old wild west.
  19. Aside from HQ and the joker they can't double up too many more villians and the more different superheros the better. Favorite has to be Jor El and Zod from original 1979 superman the beard is an ok nod to russel crowe but love that pair
  20. Ok this is a great moc how did you pull off the confederate soldiers. I have tons of union 25 dark blue officers and 243 soldiers and 20 wild west officers and 80 men but no confederates
  21. Thanks for loading it, I am technologically challenged
  22. The folder and picture is accessable i will try and post more
  23. I think lego missed the boat by not having a lego batman advent calendar
  24. Finally got pic of my two castles. Built with the help of many fine stores on bricklink. I own a 375 - all spare parts and liked it so much, I built its mirror in black. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=572263 Sorry the photo is not public yet
  25. Having purchased the disney castle i would like to see actual minifigs to match all the rooms and spaces I jave aladin and the genie along with alice but there are many empty rooms with no traditional minifigs -not the princess/elves/friends variety. I am even using a mickey head, palpetine guard torso and red slope to mimic the sorcerer's apprentice for that room
