  1. What do others think the rest of the build could be? If it's a similar set/piece point to the Amelia Earhart set, I could see a large central tree, with 2-4 chimps, and some research equipment with the Jane Goodall minifigure. Lego these days seems to LOVE trees.
  2. To me, while ok, it looks super basic, as if there wasn't a lot of design thought put into it. I'd almost think this was designed in a hurry to make it a GWP or was severely made smaller from a bigger design.
  3. Looks like a decent set list! Exciting.
  4. New October Calendar dropped with a picture of the Gryffindor Rooms - seems to come with FOUR (4) Choclate Card pieces. 2 Beds, and a chest. Also - FREE Hermione's Study Desk as well (In-Store Only)
  5. My guess it's 4 different subthemes, based on the amount of the set. Subtheme #1 76207: $19.9976208: $49.99 Subtheme #2 76211: $49.99 Subtheme #3 76212: $9.9976213: $29.99 Subtheme #4 76219: $19.99
  6. Sort of hope this is what the Accessory Packs will be. 2 anticipated figures and 2 remakes of stuff for army building. Possibilities are endless with various "subthemes".
  7. I'm more and more excited about this set. There are NDA's that are signed that prevent people from stating anything publically. In my line of work, I'm not even in accounts/contracts, but I have to sign them due to the fact I see sensitive company data. Could be the case here, conceivably.
  8. Nice! 100 will do the set decent justice.
  9. Dumbledore? Pfff...tell me when the french version of Dumbly-dorr comes out
  10. Lego released a press release stating that it's all of Western Europe but some will increase prices and some will decrease. It's on thebrickfan site.
  11. This may be the worst idea they've had. I may have to cut the budget then and be more picky with sets.
  12. Yeah, that would DEFINITELY be more disappointing!
  13. While I would prefer to save more money, I think these higher prices aren't necessarily completely bad news. I hope that means they can put in extra things, like more figures, especially in the Suitcase.
  14. Yeah, that's sort of weird, right? I've gotten into the habit of waiting to buy any HP when it gets released because of this.
  15. If this set is what Fulcrum says, I could potentially see a set in a similar vein as the Ideas Winnie the Pooh set. Could be a tree with the Cave of Evil or could Yoda's hut built directly into the tree on ONE side, with another entrance to the Cave on the other. Color me very intrigued by this set's possibilities as others have mentioned.
  16. Yeah, i also hope it doesn't mean it, but I assume at this point it will. Slytherin common room probably will be another GWP in the future. They never show Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff and doubt they'd make those sets since HP is based on movies...
  17. Do you or anyone think that the will come back in stock in places like lego.com? Having a hard time finding them too.
  18. I agree. Given the recent trend in sets, I feel that Lego is a tad more open to risk with certain sets.
  19. How reliable is the leak? I'd be surprised we'd get one similar to the old one due to the original controversy around it.
  20. Or if Kevin was the Chosen One...of course he'd be a good-guy Slytherin...and would get into more trouble than Harry ever did!
  21. Amen! If they can make Thanos, someone that (temporarily) committed mass genocide on half of the galaxy, they shoudl be able to make more horcrux-themed sets. Slap 18+ like on the Star Wars Meditation Chamber, and viola, Happy customers with lots of money to spend.
  22. There's also a good shot of it in the section to Timestamp 2:23, Peache's Castle .
  23. The Wedding Set of 2018 was just retired this year. If the same trend continues for the previous 2 sets, they should be issuing a new one in 2022. I would not be surprised if they make it more inclusive with a mix-and-match style of torsos, heads, legs, dresses, etc. They are DOING that exact thing with Harry Potter and the Trunk set coming out next January.
  24. I was thinking the EXACT same thing when I saw the QE set. Pieces now exist for budget balancing trickery they do sometimes (ie. one theme makes a piece, pieces, and then it's cheaper to make NEW pieces in a different theme).
  25. Yeah, and from what I can tell, price points are a fixed item. So i'd imagine the planning phase would involve someone stating an idea for a set, and then seeing what price point they'd want to best maximize profits. Jang will be so happy for Gonk.
