After considering possibilities for the new version of the Great Hall as I stated previously I really hope the emphasis is on the Chamber of Secrets substructure and maybe the Tower itself. I'd be very happy with a minimalistic Great Hall set up for the Dueling scene with just the dueling platform for furnishing. I know Snape & Draco aren't among the included figures for the set but there are the newest versions of them in the Potions Book set already. The description of the Girl's Bathroom Set is what I had already envisioned so I expect to be very pleased with it. Anything from Hogsmeade is just icing on the cake for me at this point as I currently have nothing to represent that. The Hogwart's Extension will be totally new to me since I don't have anything from the original wave of sets. Happy to finally get a Fluffy. As for the Advent Calendar I consider them to be parts packs to use as filler so whatever is in it I'll most likely be happy with but really hoping they figure out how to have Ron riding the Knight's Horse from the Chess scene.

If I'm paying RRP I'd rather wait to get them direct from Lego with Double points or a GWP. On the other hand if Zavvi does a discounted price I may order from them. I was very patient even after they finally released them here this past year but I still need to get Hedwig & the Forbidden Forest sets. I just checked previous year releases and it seems in 2019 they were released in the U.S. 2 weeks after the rest of the world but everything in 2018 was released at the same time. A two week delay would be okay but waiting almost 3 months again like last year wouldn't be nice.

I'm all for a Great Hall that is focused more on the Chamber of Secrets beneath than the actual Hall itself.

So is North America actually going to get these sets in June along with the rest of the world or are we going to have to wait until August again like last year. Lucky for me there are no new Ideas sets coming that I want other than the Globe, so more $ available for all the Harry Potter sets. I was just imagining the Girl's bathroom set yesterday that was mentioned in the formerly debunked spoof article and now we are actually getting it. Looking forward to seeing how they build the sink system. I can't wait to see actual pictures of all these sets but I'll definitely be buying them all. I hope we are actually getting Crabbe & Goyle hair pieces instead of Harry & Ron hair again unless they give us both. There should be at least one more figure in the Advent Calendar since they only listed 5. Of course it might be a Chess piece. It would be awesome if they somehow had Ron riding on the Knight's Horse like in the movie.

I can understand the no back-order decision especially considering that they hold and need to store orders of in stock parts while waiting for the back-ordered pieces. In some places legally they must deliver promised goods within a specific time frame or else they can be fined. With all the delays due to Covid they have been pushing the limit quite a bit just on sets that are in production. The Parts is a whole other thing because If they don't know when or how many they will have available by a specific date they can get into big trouble taking back-orders that may take months to fill. Just look at how long many of us have had to wait on back-ordered sets over the past year. In some cases they should have been forced to cancel the orders when they couldn't fill them on time but fortunately for many of us they have eventually fulfilled the back-orders. I'd much rather they place reasonable limits on new parts & hope they are in stock when I look for them. It's bad enough trying to keep track of what I ordered when while waiting for normal B&P orders to ship so I'd personally rather not throw back-orders into the mix too.

It's a decent build but to me it isn't worth paying an inflated price. I hunted one down through Barnes & Noble after missing out on their Black Friday GWP deal before we found out definitely that Shop@Home would be offering it as a GWP. I ended up returning the one I had bought from Barnes & Noble because to me it wasn't worth paying $25 for a second copy I didn't need of something I had eventually ended up getting for "free". If you are a completest or "need" to have it it may be worth it to you but personally I have a hard time justifying paying more than full price for any set and try to find deals where I can.

I second this. I get an error message every time I submit a BnP order. Refreshing & then going to my shopping cart seems to load the order into my cart.

They had to reship me the same part two times because they kept sending the totally wrong part. I could understand of it was the same part in a different color but they kept sending me a 2x2 slide shoe instead of a 6x6 satellite dish and not even the same color as what I actually ordered. I finally had to send them a photo of the incorrect parts they sent me to get it straightened out. I'm sure that 6x6 part weighs considerably more than the 2x2 they kept sending besides it costing way more. Another time they actually sent me quite a few more profile bricks than I had actually ordered which added more weight.

I prefer to reserve scum & villainy for the cretins who post totally irrelevant garbage that has absolutely nothing to do with Lego like screen shots of video games, their pets, their children or themselves doing whatever.

Without the Toy Fairs being held this year I don't think we'll be getting info as early as last year.

I personally hope they don't use Slug Club for the Advent Calendar. Unless they use some of the other characters rather than the trio it would just be basically more of the same old. We already got Ginny and Ron wasn't invited. So who would they use? Probably Harry, Hermoine, Slughorn, Luna, possibly a variant of Ginny, Waiter Neville again. It's not likely they take the opportunity to give us Blaise Zabini, Cormac McLaggen, Melinda Bobbin or the Carrow girls. I'd much rather see Christmas at the Burrow or at Grimmauld Place. Hopefully they will do both of those over the next couple of years.

I finished building all four of mine a couple of nights ago. Picked them up from Target because Shop@Home was already out of them. I really like them all. Each one has some interesting building techniques & I love the fold out walls features of each. Love the garden patch in the Herbology set as well as some of the other small builds in each set. And I'm a sucker for walls with Potion Bottle shelves (not the sticker ones). I think they did a great job with them.

Well I just got the pre-ship notice for my order. Maybe FedEx will actually pick it up tomorrow.

Still waiting for them to ship my Astronomy Tower & GWP's. At this rate I probably get the shipping notice Thursday or Friday & it will sit in the FedEx depot all weekend until at least next Tuesday as usual.

Neville & Cedric each have a set of earmuffs and there is one spare so there are definitely three in the set. The spare comes in the first bag. There is a Hufflepuff Crest printed on one of the wall stickers buried under the printed foliage. No flag or banner though.

I really am not interested in spending that much money on a "UCS" Quidditch Pitch. I bought 4 of the current Quidditch set to create my own so I could at least have 2 full teams in uniform. Fortunately I didn't pay full price for all of them. Unless they were to include all 4 full teams in uniform plus Madam Hooch I can't see it being a big seller and it would probably end up costing way more than $230 unless they scaled it to the size of Hogwarts Castle For future reference if I know or am worried that I might get something that's back-ordered I add a small item like an Xtras set or minifig that is in stock to insure the GWP will ship right away.

I have McGonagall & Hemoine in the Arches & Ron up top with the blackboard. I have McGonagall facing in to the arch with her arms up and her bottom front is attached to the base. I'll be building Potions next.

In the previous thread Surge asked if the included figures fit in the books. According to reviews I had read the reviewers had said no. I just finished building the Transfiguration one and I was able to fit all three figures in the closed book. I haven't built any of the others yet so I don't know if I'll be able to do the same with all of them. I couldn't decide which to build first so I decided to do them in numerical order.

I gave up last night when the website crashed after 1-1/2 hour of trying to get to the payment screen. As expected the Moments Classrooms are now out of stock or back-ordered so I fell back to my original plan of ordering the Astronomy Tower to get the 2 GWP's. I then placed an order through Target to pick up the 4 Moments Books at the store. Just waiting for the notification to go pick them up if they actually have them available. Now I have to find something new in stock at Kohl's to spend my Kohl's Cash on. I was torn on which of the Moments books to wait on but was a bit concerned they may end up being like the Friends Cubes where if you don't grab them they are gone so I ordered them all.

Now I have sets in my cart but not all the ones I want. Trying to remove a SW one but it won't disappear. Also can't get Transfiguration to actually add in.

I get an error no matter what I try to add to my cart. Hope they fix it soon because I don't want to go to bed without putting an order in. Everything I want would probably be sold out when I get up in the morning.

When I looked at the website I received a message from my browser to make sure I trusted the source because they had no malware monitoring to protect me from anything malicious on the site. Not saying the site is a problem but I won't download anything that isn't from a trusted & verified safe site.

I still need to pick up the Astronomy Tower, Forbidden Forest: Umbridge's Encounter & Hedwig. And maybe a second Room of Requirements. Holding off until January 1 to see what I need to purchase from Shop @ Home to get MBoM. Still no January Store Calendar posted yet. :(

One Knight Bus is enough for me. It was the last set from that wave that I bought because it wasn't a must have. I personally don't see it being a good fit for Creator status. As Gunyon2002 says there are other big builds that are a much better fit. Vehicles weren't used much to warrant taking a large build slot other than Hogwarts Express which we already have & maybe the Durmstrang Ship. I certainly wouldn't spend that much for another Knight Bus. I'd much rather have Gringotts, Hogsmeade, Ministry of Magic, Knockturn Alley, Grimmauld Place, other parts of the Castle or a few other places before any vehicles. The only vehicle I can think of would be a Thestral drawn carriage like the ones the students rode to the castle in but that shouldn't be more than a $19.99-29.99 set.

A couple of reviews I've read stated that the figures do not fit in the books when they are closed unfortunately. From what I could see in the posted pictures the pieces are packed in pretty tight with no room to spare for the figures.
