Yep! I do, but I installed DirectX9 early on when using it, so I'm not sure if SR 3D Builder would work without it, though. I had no such error message poppinng up when I installed DX9.

Are you sure about that? I thought Holly knew from the beginning that she was an "Amateur Thief." Maybe I missed something. Defending Bristol? I thought I already stated that I would have voted for her if it was necessary? You all have to realize though, that Bristol is not the "obvious" lynch today, just because we got a town result off her. We got two scum confessees (or whatever) who we can lynch as well. Now we can only lynch one person at a time, so we may as well out confirmed scum as I see it, before we "confirm the investigator." Maybe I'm wrong and it is necessary that we confirm him/her today, but if so please do tell me, because I just don't see it. As I told you by PM since I thought Bob was ending the day early (how he planned on doing that I don't know, it's not as if he's God in the sky or something ), I have never been in a mafia situation where there were two factions of scum, but I would assume that our goal is to take them both out. On second thought, though, I suppose this faction likely enough do not have a killing ability, so it may be more helpful to take the other one out first. I thought we knew that Holly and Michael are scum. There is nothing needed to be tested on confirmed scum. One just lynches them. At least, that's how I see it.

In direct defiance to any QM's orders or wishes, I notice a bunch of wierdoes trundle through the hall and exchange words with the Orcish barmaid. They head on downstairs without too much further ado. "Phew, I was worried that that motley crew would call themselves heroes. It only seems as if the Hall is hiding illegal immigrants under its basement. That's a relief!" I suddenly notice a suspicious-looking short and dark figure signing up for the quest on the questboard. Ack! Another one of those demons!

Pardon me, but what makes you think Bristol is a likely scum? Because an investigator (who could be lying) is telling a neutral (who could be lying) that she got a result that she is. And furthermore, most people seem to agree that Holly and Michael are third party scum, correct? How do you know that they are not lying about their win condition and that they are seeking to join up with the real scum and they are using the hype about "neutral thieves" to do it. There are so many reasons for voting Holly over Bristol and none of them are stupid. Still, it makes sense to try to determine whether the investigator can be trusted, so that's why I don't mind the lynch against Bristol too much. However, even if Bristol comes up scum, it does not necessarily immediately mean that the investigator is town. Seriously, don't you get the fact that scum win the game, for the most part, by lying. What makes you trust the word of these scum so much?
-
Hey, don't blame me! I definitely saw some freaks in the crowd. Well spoken! You took the words right out of my mouth. Now it makes no sense to post it in the hall.

Some would scream that "Lego" is "LEGO."

I think they were made "immune to insta-kill" for a reason though. If immunity to ashes would be possible, then there's no need to make it because either the QMs will want you to be able to insta-kill their enemies or not. If they don't want you to they will make the enemies immune to it anyway, and if they do want you to be able to kill them, they wouldn't have put "immune to insta-kill" in the first place. Quit trying to buff up your already over-powered class.

What I find a bit odd about this whole scenario is that Bristol was pushing for Michael's lynch yesterday and then Michael or Holly happen to investigate Bristol today and find out that she is scum. It just seems a little too convenient if you ask me. Also, Barbara jumped along with Michael and Holly far too easily for my liking when they first brought out that Bristol was scum. Now it makes sense that Barbara would stand by them once the claimed investigator (if such a person exists) got a result on her, but before that, it seemed wierd, especially the way that Michael and Holly were floundering around sending out scummy PMs to everyone. I wonder which theives you're talking about? All theives should get the benefit of the doubt?!? Whose side are you on exactly? So basically you want us to wait on lynching to clear cut scum in order for you to be able to get the town block organized. Whatever. All is good and well. However, the big problem is that we have at least two factions of scum. I am assuming Pierre and Paul's faction contained at least four members, as I think any less would be a bit ridiculous, then we have Holly and Michael as well not to mention you and the other Master Theif (or whatever we are supposed to call you two) and then, presumably still a Serial Killer, so that doesn't leave an enormous amount of townies. It's still a lot, but it shows that time may be of the essence. Could you or the investiagator be trying to delay the town? I don't know. But all of this random role-claiming on the same day doesn't sit well with me. However, on the other side of things, Bristol has not been her usual self this game. I noticed that from the beginning. Could it be just a different town approach to the game, or is she really scum. I don't know. Personally, I'd prefer to vote off someone whom we know is scum then someone with a half/half chance, if you will, besides if Holly and Michael keep the diamond they win the game and I think the point is to prevent the scum from winning. I wonder who will get the diamond if we vote out Holly though. Since, if I vote for Bristol now, it won't make a difference anyway, correct me if I'm wrong, I will: Vote: Holly (Nightshroud99)

I wouldn't agree with this. Though I don't like enemies who are immune to insta-kill, I think it sort of has to be done because otherwise assassins would be way over-powered. As if they aren't already. So are we in the hall supposed to ignore the fact that a whole group of wierdoes just traipsed through the hall? Besides, how will the orcish barmaid be able to help them out when she's supposed to be getting cake-seed-cake for us.
-
"And some more cake-seed-cake for the rest of us!"
-
It does seem slightly odd though that in all the "investigations" no one has actually turned up scum, but I guess by tomorrow we should have a clearer reading of things. I wonder if Bob really would have made it this easy to catch the scum. Unless Bob just didn't think the MCs would work with town.

"Ratibor?" I pause for a moment. "Are you from the Free Islands? Have you been on many quests here at Heroica? I am always interested in hearing of others' experiences with Heroica. Sometimes, it can seem like nothing is changing for the better when one only looks at what he himself is doing, however, in the bigger scope of things, much is being accomplished for the better due to the efforts of many doing their part." "Did you know the mage, Arasmyth?"
-
Well, technically you didn't actually cause 1632 damage, just 35.
-
Well, that's good news. If the Master Criminal's results are actually indications of a person's scumminess (and as of yet we have no reason to believe that they aren't) then that could turn out pretty well for us because it's almost like having two investigators.
-
It's possible that she was trying to "buddy up" to Jonathon, in order to appear innocent like him, or something. Or to make him appear to be scum if we were to lynch her. These both would seem to me, though, to be only something that less skilled scum would do, as Babs said, so I'm not sure. I don't think I'd put it beyond Holly though. Interesting that you say that because Jonathon did say, before he died that we should lynch you. However, he said that if you didn't kill Scott, then likely someone is trying to frame you. Oddly, it almost didn't seem like he thought Pierre would come up as scum.
-
A trap? If that's what you want to call it. By all means, walk into it.
-
I found Holly a bit odd all throughout yesterday. She seemed to be buddying up to and trying to defend Jonathon for no real reason. She was the last to switch her vote for Pierre and did so at a time when there was no real reason to do so. Furthermore she has said nothing really helpful. Maybe it's just me. There is also Michael who we all know well and then of course Betty who has added almost nothing at all. You complained that Lauren was asking for the name of the Master Criminal and then said that we didn't need to know the tracker's name if we just got his results. Nobody asked for the trackers name today, so I don't think there is any reason for you or I to go on with arguing about it.
-
I don't believe the tracker and the other Master Criminal are the same thing, Diane, and as far as I can tell no one has asked for the name of the tracker recently, but I've had enough of this pointless matter.
-
Ah, I misunderstood what you were saying and thought you brought up a random situation from your past and then moved on and continued talking about Lauren. Lauren wanted the name so that it would help us to close down on the scum and therefore benefit both town and neutral alike. it's not a great reason, but frankly I don't think the Master Criminals getting killed would really make much of a difference to the scum. They need to get as many people out of the way as possible whether they are town or neutral. Also, I believe Shadows was a cultist in the game mentioned and not scum which was why the godfather role was passed down.

If the pictures are anything to go by though, and it's true that Matthew was the vig, which I suppose is a possibility, then it seems to me that the neck-snapper who killed Matthew and Paul is the SK and Pierre, was the one who killed CM and the one from today had a different weapon because the scum killer was changed due to Pierre dying. Now enough random picture speculation.
-
There is nothing, really to make us assume that Matthew was the vig, except that he was carrying a baseball bat and had an action, presumably. For Bob's sake, he said there were no clues in the picture. The weapon they use, likely enough, doesn't even matter. I seriously doubt there were four killers, especially since on both nights there have only been two persons killed. Of course, Pierre's killing action was probably passed on to someone else, but I am not sure if they'd already be able to kill tonight.
-
What?!? Seriously, you're confusing even me. Not that I don't confuse easily. I don't think anyone was asking for the name of the tracker, so how would revealing the name of the other Master Criminal make a valuable townie "unsafe?" I also think she already stated why she wanted the name. Where are you getting this nonsense from? Who said anything about him passing his action on to Mary. We now know, that Pierre was, in fact, the scum killer unless two scum really did target Scott on night one. How does this implicate Mary in any way?

"I certainly pray that there is no one else, but I am led to believe that there are many who aspire to acheive what the Ziegfrieds have achieved, (and by that I mean their power, not their demon-possession) and as such, they expose themselves tremendously. It is a sad world where 'magic books' are easily available to the general populace. The so-called 'magic' therein does nothing but take people one step farther down the wrong path into utter darkness... "What is your views on mages, Paladin?" "Well spoken there. It is unfortunate that where the crowds are and where the truth could be most effective, is where it is most rejected. I am afraid that even the country is starting to be polluted by the darkness of the city, though. "I do not believe you have told me your name, Paladin. Monk Pretzel, here."
-
Um...what?!? How could Matthew have been a Serial Killer if he has been confirmed as a Townie?
