    I hand my Fancy Shield to Harkenshire for the duration of the quest. "Seems like I will be providing for our team this quest!" I mutter to myself.

    I know that's with aura up, but what a beast! And so it begins...

    "Maurice, I have this fancy shield, here, that I spent a pretty penny for, but apparently am not able to equip at this time. Perhaps it would be of more use in yours or Harkenshire's hands for the duration of this quest. If you want to receive it, then I would recommend loaning your shield to Harkenshire, since yours is clearly stronger than his."

    As stingy as the other quest you're running where they're fighting off a hoarde of proggs and get 6 potions for their efforts!

    "I can't equip it right now with my tricorne and cloak, so you may." I hand the Magic Viper Skin to Mizuki. "Harkenshire, I presume? Ranger, are you? Or Warden? I notice you're carrying a shield, so I'll presume the latter. If you want you can use my shield. It's stronger than yours and I, apparently, can't use it right now anyway. Damn, Fox! Perhaps I'll wait for Maurice to come though and see if he is interested in it, being our party leader and all..."

    to both of these statements. I don't know if heroes are just so lucky these days, but negative effects seem somewhat rare. ...Or maybe it's just me. I really think we should see them splashed out a little more liberally. It would make those Neutralizers and Remedies more of a necessity.

    I rush up to the waiting Rito. "Hmmm, seems like I'm the first one here, eh? Ah well, not usual, but not bad all the same." After a minute's silence, "So, nice wings you got there. How did you attach them to your body?" Thanks for having me, JimButcher! I bought a Pickaxe at the Marketplace. So, I should have that and have only 25 Gold. No stress!

    Passing by Gnomeo’s tool shack, I peruse his wares. Interesting equipment you’ve got here, though the variety is limited at best. Considering that, from the sounds of it, we’ll be questing in a dragon’s cave, I think it would be wise for me to purchase a pickaxe from you. I drop the gold on the table and he hands me the Pickaxe. 45 – 20 = 25 Gold Remaining.

    All the new heroes who just came from their latest quest are jabbering on and on. The masked girl is blubbering uncontrollably. It's starting to get to my head. I decide to take a stroll by the Marketplace and see if there's anything I need in preparation for my upcoming quest.

    You guys really should've just entered battle and thrown the smoke bomb. At the end when you were even proposing money, I was kind of like But I think the ending was more fun this way, and it leaves some pain in the heroes.

    "So, Mizuki, we are questing again, it seems. I know Maurice and it looks as if he will be our party leader. Do you know this "De'kra" or "William"?

    Shadows, I'll pass on the "Aperture Academy" there's a lot of players who haven't played in a Mafia School yet who signed up for it. Hopefully I'll make the cut for def's game.

    Yeah, it made me rather suspicious. Like, seriously, what's up with Scuba!

    Yeah, cursed is pretty bad for heroes. One only carries so many remedies too. Just a question. If a rogue is targeting an enemy from the back row and they roll a "shield" they only get as much gold as the damage dealt, right? If they're targeting an enemy with SP, do they get the same amount of gold as the damage dealt or will they get the full amount?

    Well, everything's free at the bar anyway, so it doesn't really make a difference.

    "Undead, Vampires, Demons, even, stroll the hall as if it were their home. Despicable! Contemptable really. I believe most of them are out questing. Can you believe it? Undead running quests for Heroica! Do they think they have minds of their own."
