    Legonator and CMP both make an appearance in the same day! Glad to see you have forgotten us all entirely.

    I chuckle at the odd fellow, but smile contentedly at the idea that I had another Phoenix Incense in my possession. It felt save having another in my possession. "Where are you from, lad?" I ask Cedric.

    As the Elder Den speaks, a wave of fear washes over me. For the first time in my life, I feel in the presence of power, real power. I gulp and feel for my sword for the familiar power it has given me in times before, but my hand feels nothing. My eyes, unblinking, remain almost drawn into those of the old man. The half-giant's words bring me back to my senses and I draw my sword, still feeling very much intimidated by the raw power emanating from the old man. "W-w-we are not afraid of you," I manage to get out, holding my sword shakily out in front of me. As the dwarf speaks, a sense of calm comes over me, as if I remember who I really am. "But why would you want us to kill poor Luke? That's just mean!"

    I look up for a moment, giving a suspicious glare at the demon germ, but being too lazy to actually move or perhaps not caring enough anymore. The months of inactivity had done their work on my aged bones. Looking at the offer made by the Paladin, I throw 130 gold on the table. "For the Phoenix Incense." I call. "Keep the change."

    Ah, alright. Apologies if that is the case. Generally, retiring players giving away things for free or dirt cheap was frowned on if not altogether disallowed, but I'm not sure it really matters at this point.

    Heroica remains the only RPG I've participated in (that's because it's the best ).

    I swap my gloves and my helmet for the Cloak of Innocence and Paladin's Armour.

    I gratefully look on as Vindsval hands all of the bombs to the gnome. "It's good that such nasty instruments don't fall into too many hands."

    "Petaldan Parfenius." I frown. Shaking my head in disappointment at my battle performance.

    "Whoa!" I cannot help but gasp as Matthias' cannon tears the remaining guards to shreads. "I've never seen something like it. I turn to Jeremiah. "Hello again. Um...how has your day been?" I ask politely.

    Just read all the threads today. I certainly suspected Tariq J more than Lord Duvors, based on night actions, though Tariq's voting was pretty towny. I am slightly surprised at the choice to lynch Dragonator though. It would seem illogical to me that a scum blocker would be able to take on a scum Godfather role. Doesn't the Godfather usually lose his ability to appear Town when he becomes the killer? Regardless, well played everyone. For town, I especially enjoyed watching TPRU and Dragonator (towards the end).

    Wow! Just checked and in February it will be 6 years of Pretzel's presence in Heroica. Combined, Pretzel and Petaldan have participated in 20 quests and 3 Fields of Glory runs. ...And I have only hosted one quest.

    Guard 5's attack bouncing harmlessly off my armour, (Petaldan is immune to Stunned) I repeat my attack.

    Same for Pretzel. ...Though Petaldan is already on a quest, so I wouldn't want to take somebody else's spot.

    Hi guys, I'm back now. Computer still not working, but I should be able to be present regardless. I attack Guard 5 from the Back Row. "I really could use a heal."

    Just had a computer crash and from my survey of the situation it seems to be either a CPU or motherboard problem. I'm posting from someone else's computer now and will try to stay somewhat present. I will still be traveling on the 19th, as I mentioned before, and am uncertain of my abilities to connect when I'll be away.

    "But we're not just thieves breaking into someone's house and taking whatever we feel like. We had a specific purpose and though that already feels wrong enough..." I cut myself off. "I guess you know this Den man while I don't, but..."

    "To me, it looks suspiciously not like real gold, which means that it's probably a fake. Though I'm not sure if gold is an any better conduit of magic than any other item..." I look questioningly at Ezeran as if asking him to affirm my last statement.
