Anybody fancy even higher resolution on those pics? In the highest resolution I think I can see sticker ridges on the bottles in Captains Cabin. -

Black Pearl is in the second PotC release coming out later this year... -
That is of course a possibility. After all I don't think they'll be out in stores until june or august.
-
It could be that they used the windows seen in this PotC-set as doors. But as far as I can remember the doors that I saw looked a little different than how those windows look.

I'm almost 100% sure it's Sandy's helmet with printing. I've seen a different picture in high resolution where the globe was seen in a slightly different angle. There I could see what looked like a small seam between the two halves. -
Im not playing the games but my kids do. The cards are not randomly packed. They are always the same in a set. However in march/april some of the spinner sets will be replaced by new ones. And I think august will come with even more spinner sets. And I guess thoose new sets will have new cards. There seems to be a total of 81 cards including the "figure cards" but excluding the special cards.
-
As far as I know it's being released at the same time as their annual report in early april.
-
I wonder if this is similar to the campaign currently running in sweden. Here you get one or two special cards if you buy a NinjaGo spinner. 50 first customers also get a foam "battle arena" and a sticker. The cards come in theese nice black packets One card is a nice and shiny golden "Off Balance" battle card. And notice that this card only requires 100 earth to be played. The regular "Off Balance" card requires 3 times as much in earh. And the fig doesn't need to hold a golden weapon either. The other card is a Krazi figure card with a nice hologram effect. I've uploaded a small video of it to flickr here.

I think we should be lucky we're getting purple at all. I do recall that not long ago LEGO said they would stop making purple parts period! Just because they were unable to get a consistant color tone. But I guess they've fixed the issue as we are seeing purple parts and the parts I have are pretty much identical in color.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion

I like most of them even though they don't give me the same desire as the series 4 figs does. Cleopatra - Need to see more of her before I make up my mind but currently she one of the weaker ones of this series for me. Gladiator - The same as with cleopatra. However is that another new spear we're getting from this "theme"? Sherlock holmes - Intresting. But I guess that if I were a steampunk builder I would be overjoyed or something. ;) Cave girl - New cartoonish hairpiece... Other than that one can't say much about her. English guard - I guess the english fans will fight over those. ;) And no, the rifle isn't a new mold. Dwarf - As has been said we just had a full theme of those so it really doesn't appeal to me. Even though it seems to have a cool unique shield and a reddish brown 3L bar (I think). Boxer - There's a reason why he's in front. He's the best in the bunch! I just hope we get a boxer dressed in blue in a later series! Lizard suit guy - Not a big fan of that fig. Will get one anyways just to have a complete series to display. Clown Like the pie. And that bowler hat looks promising for future series. Just hope we get one in black or dark bley!! No, the top of the thing can be seen above the lizard suit guy's head. And to me it looks like a black caveman club or something similar. -
Have you tried Bricklink?
-
Did ask... The doors came in one of the seemingly bigger set. They were reddish brown and the frames where white. They could be printed/stickered but to me the "texture" seemed molded onto the pieces rather than print.
-
Unfortunatly I can't link to the pictures or upload them anywhere as I don't have access to them. They were shown to me off another persons computer... Can't really say much about them. There where four microfigs in diferent colors (Red, yellow, blue and green. If I remember correctly). There could have been more microfigs but I didn't notice any. And the pictures were to small to make out any more details of the figs The actual board of the games consisted of different "paths" (to few to form any kind of labyrint) built by plates. And at at least some parts of the paths there were 2x2 tiles with a stud in the middle in different colors. And at least one of the games had a handfull of those aforementioned doors (About five or six doors I belive). And I know that they were doors as it was the only thing that jumped out at me so I had to check them out more closely. As I understand it theese "paths" will, somehow, be able to connect to the paths of the other three games. Because I was told that the games would expand on each other. There were even a picture of a store display featuring all four games together. They didn't look to be that big either. I'd expect the pricing to be in either the $14.99 or the $19.99 range. Or maybe even both as I think one or two of them looked to be a bit smaller than the others.
-
Is there anyone who knows more about theese four boardgames? 3857 Heroica Draida 3858 Heroica Waldurk 3859 Heroica Nathuz 3860 Heroica Fortaan What I know is that they can be combined to expand the board and thus get a bigger playingfield. I got a quick look at some pictures of them yesterday but it weren't exactly clear what the goal of the games were. However one intresting thing I noticed were that one game comes with small doors that fits theese windows.

I doubt that there are any LDD files of his work. Besides I doubt that they'll be anywhere near easily recreated in LDD anyway as he weren't shy of using clones and/or non-Lego material to get the effect he wanted.

Maybe Im seeing wrong but isn't the police driving the police car a woman?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion

Has anyone else been getting a really strong smell of printing ink, or something like that, from the series 3 bags? Now I'm not talking about the smell from a fresh magazine or so but rather a slap-in-the-face smell that makes you go "Whoa!". -
I have had an indication from a source that Belville will actually be back next year. Not 100% sure though if it's an own release or it'll go minfig scale, refering to the "girly" minifig scaled city theme.
-
I was under the impression that Belville will be getting new sets next year. But I'm not 100% sure about that though. Regarding the girly minfig theme it's said to include beutiful houses. Haven't seen any pictures yet but we can all guess what colorscheme it'll have... Also i've been hearing that the theme may be pushed back to 2012...
-
Whitout a doubt: Blacktron I. Black and trans-yellow with details in yellow and trans-red and the fig is probbably the coolest fig of all time. Can it become any better than that?
-
I'd say go for 10185 Green Grocer. It's official "stop date" is 31/12 2010. And looking back at Cafe Corner it's stopdate were also 31/12 but it was sold out already in october. So I'm expecting green grocer to sell out any day now. And when it does the prices on bricklink will skyrocket...
-
I believe both of those subthemes are out next year. Construction has had it's wave and if there would have been more of LEGO farm we would have seen it this year. Construction will most likely be back in 2012 or maybe not until 2013. Farm however... Who knows when it will be back. I doubt it will be back next year though... On a side note: I've recently been getting some intel that may suggest that the "girly" city theme is being pushed back to 2012... :/

Brick Yellow is regular tan.

I don't think they're overreacting either. And I believe that it's not the images in themselves that LEGO cares about. Because as mentioned it's not that difficult for the competition to get possesion of the prelims. I rather think it's the fact that they've seen negative talk about theese preliminary pictures affect sales in a negative way. And this year they're really putting in an effort trying to get a message across.
