  1. The S@H admins must av messed up or something because I saw the indy 4 sets in the swedish S@H just like The Rancor says. With missing pics and all. But now they're gone again. I saw Swedish S@H do this with some other recently released set. It highlighted it on the frontpage but when clicked to it claimed "not available in this country". Don't remember what set it was. In sweden the warship is for sale though. It seems a bit like new releases on the site is a bit shaky.
  2. Nice. Though I think it looks like it's only the front and tail of the plane that is brickbuilt. The fuselage looks alot like it was built using those "fuselage-pieces" or something.
  3. I order for around $100 a month from BL. Usually its pieces that can't be found in current sets or stuff that would be quite expensive to buy through sets in the quantities I need. Well if you buy locally you should be able to use simple bank transfers. And since you're from norway I believe IBAN is available too. Then all you need is a bank-office or an internet bank with support for IBAN payments and you should be able to buy from most European Bricklink shops.
  4. Blacktron I!! I'm buying sets from most themes. Though it's been a lot of batman because of it's Blacktron-ish color scheme. ;)
  5. According to Brickjournal the releasedate is 16 April. So I assume the sets are going to show up on S@H in about three weeks.
  6. He could be referrinring to the 9833 Transformer
  7. It's a bit funny that the thread you linked to seems to haave been turned into a "merry-go-round-thread" too. ;) Anyhow I think this thread can be locked or something since it doesn't seem to lead anywhere.
  8. The only way I can think of to make sure a set is MISB whitout opening it is to check it's weight. However to do that you'll need an identical set complete with box and all to compare with.
  9. Yeah here in sweden it is till sold for about USD $82 and has been on sale since 1 January. If I remember correctly there were a statement saying that the Dwarf's Mine would be back in the US but at a higher price than the previous "limited edition" release.
  10. I was also thinking of agents line at first. But this seems like a fairly recent statement from GF and Agents are coming this fall, if I remember correctly. Most likely it's some kind of replacement for Exo-Force. So I'm thinking/hoping it's some kind of sci-fi theme. But thats just guessing. We'll just have to wait and see. Steampunk is basicly 19th century science fiction. In other words hightechnology driven mainly by steam and some electricity rather than electricity alone. works of H.G. Wells and Jules Verne can be classified as steampunk.
  11. Here in Sweden it says when you make a PaB order that it will take up to three weeks. This leads me to believe they have some kind of productioncycle producing certain pieces certain days and your order has to be included in this batch thus making it take a while to actually produce the pieces you ordered.
  12. Here in sweden there used to be a book released every year that contained all major news from the past year. Maybe they could do the same here? Every year there is a new addition stating theese things. It would be easier now since the sets are rarely produced more than two or three years. So with a couple of years "drag" they could keep the to-from years correct. So e.g: They would publish sets from 2004 this year and sets released 2005 next year and so on.
  13. If you ask me I would say that if you own all pieces of a set you can claim to own the set. But Whitout the box and instructions the set isn't worth more than the pieces in it. I'd probably pay up to twice as much for a set if it has box and instructions i "mint" condition.
  14. We non-USA people will also be able to get our hands on those dark green panels. They're included in this set coming out later this year.
  15. I think that there is most certainly a "brickonomy" involved in one way or another. Lego wants to make profit so it cant be too heavy on the piececount. Because that would raise the price so high so noone would buy it. We'll most likely see one or two sets of about 2000 pieces for about the same price as Market Street and Hobby Train.
  16. I build them and keep them built until I need a piece from it in a moc. Then it's partly torn apart. Just so I can get the piece I want. And since I usually buy sets as partspacks, more or less, they won't stay completely built for long. Right now I have about for or five sets that are in different stages of "destruction" and one set thats still in an unopened box.
  17. I've been thinking about this with slopes. It almost seems like every year it comes a new kind of slope. With a new angle and/or curve. Sure it's nice to get more angles to work with. But it's always just "straight slopes". I'd rather have more "alternatives" to work with with the slopes we already got. I mean who wouldn't like to have convex, and perhaps even concave, cheese wedge corners? Or an inverthed version of this concave corner? I don't know how many times I've hit any of thoose bumps with my MOCs. Am I the only one that longs for more slope corners?
  18. For anyone who wonders: The 1x1 brick with a clip can be found as feet on the weapon/robot in Exo-force Assault Tiger. The 2x1 plate with double clips is used in that tine MM Alien ship. The next two is found in #4996 Beach House. The 4x2 slope, middlerow left, is used in the new police station as well as in a few racers sets. The 2x1 slope grill is found in different colors on most of the new Exo-Force sets. That funky piece in the middle row to the right is used as exhausts on some of the racers sets. Even though I think it would have been much more useful if it were cut in half. that 2x1x2 slope, bottom row left, is available in town plan. The curved slope, bottom row center, is found on some of the racers sets. And the bottom right piece is found in the #7670 Hailfire droid.
  19. All instructions for my childhood sets are long gone. The instructions for my post dark age sets i keep in a box for the set #4955 Big Rig. But it's getting full so I'll have to get some better storage for them.
  20. I do like the general shape of the AT-AP but as I said. To me the greebling could have been made much better. It's like the designer took a bunch of random pieces and put them on just for the sake of it. And about the legs. They too feel like they could have been done a lot better. But as I said it's probably just me being "picky".
  21. I'm not sure if I'm getting picky or what. But I'm not at all impressed by theese. The Imperial Dropship looks like something my kids built. The only thing good about it are the minifigs. It's just about the same with Rouge Shadow. But this one looks like the designer was forced to strip things of it. And the assymetry doesn't save it either. The greebling of 7671 AT-AP look just like tacked on random pieces. And what is it with lego and mecha legs theese days. First the legs of the, just released, 7721 Combat Crawler X2 and now theese. One of the more intresting sets is 7670 Hailfire Droid and Spider Droid. If thats really brown technic chanin links on the wheel I'll probably be buying a couple of 'em. Also the 7668 Rebel speeder and 7669 Anakin's starfighter looks interesting. But I'm not sure I'll by any of them. Perhaps the Rebel Speeder for the minifigs and helmets... And speaking of thoose minifigs it's the smoke windscreen that makes the arms have a different color. /Mirandir
