Aren't the Lego sets based on the films? I am just now rereading the series since I was like 6 years old, and I totally forgot that Harry goes back to Privet Drive for like 2 more weeks! In the movie don't they have Harry go to Hogwarts on the 31st as well?

It's hard for me to say how I would have reacted as a kid to sets today, they're just so much better than when I was a kid. I remember my brother and I got the 2001 Hogwarts 4709 for Christmas and it was the biggest thing we've ever seen. Don't think my parents would have gotten me a $400 set though

I won’t lie, I’m kinda going to miss this anticipation we have currently. It gives me a bit to look forward to every morning. It’s almost as entertaining as the set itself!

First Impressions... I wanted to buy this for years for my brother, who is about to get his masters in piano performance. For such an expensive set, I wish they catered it less to the “twinkle twinkle little star” pianists and more to, like, adults. It’s definitely pretty, but I do miss the gold pieces and metallic pedals from the OG. I still need to sit on it a bit to decide whether this is worth the purchase. It’s super expensive and I don’t even know if he’s going to like it but we’ll see! Would love to get him a lego set like when we were kids It would be awesome if we could modify it to play any piece we wanted! Would love to get some Chopin rocking

Was being a bit tongue and cheek, but I am curious because I think many of the questions that would come from adult VIP's probably can't be answered properly.

Man it's a bit of a tease but I would LOVE to have an official Hogwarts Nanoscale set that includes the entire grounds.

It’s not expected to make a sound. The original concept doesn’t. I would rather have a good looking model of a piano that doesn’t make sound than the other way around. Don’t need a corny app that uses bad piano samples

I swore the full reveal would be this morning based on the NES teaser last week. Is there a certain time they usually post about Idea sets?

Oh wait that would be awesome! Would much rather have Leaky Cauldron with the brick wall than, say, B&B. This is going to be such a fun set to build. I remember watching Justin's Hogwarts Behind the Scenes, and he specified how he wanted the building process to be similar to Harry's journey in Hogwarts. I can imagine they will do something similar with DA, starting inside the Leaky Cauldron and slowly building the alley based on Harry's first trip there.

I'm really nervous about the playability using a phone app. That would completely destroy my hype/interest in getting the set.
