Oh the director of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom is doing the new LOTR? I won’t lie that bums me out a lot. The Jurassic World movies are absolute garbage compared to Jurassic Park. Doesn’t bode well for LOTR but would love to be proven wrong. Alright back to HP lol

Seeing the excitement for the Lego NES release has me pumped for our big reveal! They really knocked the NES out of the park, just look at the hidden Easter egg they put in there! Diagon Alley is going to be so sick

I can’t believe how much hyped died after seeing the final product of the piano, and I’m probably one of the most die hard piano customers they have! Seeing the build, the keys move in a preset unrealistic manner as your phone plays a lame version of basic piano pieces. And the keys make so much noise! For something that’s $350, I am just so disappointed. The good news though, I can save that money and use it for Diagon Alley :)

Would I be the only one to find it quite strange to have Harry as his 11 year old self with an older Weasley family with a store that isn’t made until years later? I feel you need to choose one or the other but not both

Dude I agree 100%. Didn’t want to get shit but WWW doesn’t have the feeling of DA that makes me love it so much. The purple and orange is honestly ugly, and having Leaky Cauldron with the brick entrance to DA would be AMAZING

Slightly off-topic, but to get you all in the mood for HP, perhaps when building DA come september, I recommend you try out the music from the old HP video games! John Williams isn’t the only one to create amazingly immersive music people sleep on these tunes!

This is amazing - what a beautiful book editions! I just bought my first HP book set since my broken down ones from back home. Looking forward to having A lit up Diagon Alley on my drawer across from the books :) Also, had a scary earthquake in LA this morning. Better get to build DA before it comes tumbling down!

I’m really only into Harry Potter and Lego Ideas. I don’t have a ton of room for Legos and am mostly interested in the bigger detailed sets like the Tree House or Diagon Alley.

Didn’t Biden say he would decide the first week of August? I don’t know how Lego can necessarily plan for that given there’s no definite date. Either way, I don’t really see the two announcements overlapping. Diagon Alley won’t get an article in NPR
