I agree with you all, was just joking. However, if there is a Gringotts set next year, and it’s made with DA in mind, I hope it has a very detailed exterior and interior. If it’s more of a play set I’m worried it would resemble something like Battle on Hoth over a single modular building

All of you who are now glad if we don’t get Gringotts are going to be really disappointed when you realize we don’t get it as a stand alone set either ?

The Mario cover was a sticker I believe Ok so I guess I would be fine with a detailed gringotts next year, it’s just a shame we would have to wait a year to actually have a definitive DA. It won’t really feel complete without it. and like for $400, I’m a bit shocked they would make us wait and buy another set to complete it. Why not just make it $500

I really don’t see escape from Gringotts containing a detailed bank. It would be vaults and railways and a dragon.

If that’s the case I would honestly be so upset I would consider not buying the set

Yea I don’t think a $100 Gringotts set would be as detailed as people think, especially if it focuses on the railway and dragon escape. Hopefully DA gets announced soon so we can put this to rest

On my way to get Hedwig set, look forward to reading all the hype later! @Zepthire I agree, especially if a giant portion of the set goes to WWW instead but like someone mentioned earlier, if we are getting Scribbulus and Daily Prophet, I can’t imagine they would exclude Gringotts. LC I would be more concerned about though.

Definitely one of the best if there are no obvious exclusions. I think what makes WWW and Gringotts so unique are their creative exteriors. It would definitely feel weird and perhaps “empty” not having that crooked white tower overlooking the street. And if for some reason Gringotts isn’t included but coming in a future set, they better hint at that immediately if they don’t want to get into shit with the AFOL’s lol

I’m just saying with a $400 and 4000-5000 piece ceiling, there may have had to be cuts. WWW had the case that it wasn’t from year’s 1-3, but if that is included I think the next off the block would be a full sized LC. I do think, however, we will get some kind of “entrance” Personally, I see LC and Gringotts like the beginning and end pieces of DA. Without them I’m afraid the street wouldn’t really feel complete

LC is super important to me, more so than WWW. Gringotts is also essential but I have no doubt that’s included. I also think this set will have more of that crooked look from the movie set DA. Gives it a little more character than that 3D diorama.

Oh man, Assembly Square is in stock on Lego.com currently. I kind of wanted to use that one as my connection to DA, but it’s hard to commit without knowing the structure of the DA set. How amazing would it be to have a modular Leaky Cauldron that leads into DA

I wouldn’t trust this person. If anything it is just a calculated guess, As we know it’s getting announced at some point in the next two weeks. Again, that Muggles Are Our Friends poster sounds like a YA dystopian fanfic certainly Harry Potter isn’t that corny

Where would that piece be in the DA set? It looks pretty ugly not going to lie. Can’t put my finger on why I think that though

Has anyone thought about connecting Diagon Alley to a modular collection? If we actually get The Leaky Cauldron with the secret brick entrance, how amazing would it be to connect that with, say, Assembly Square? I know it’s hard to say without knowing the Diagon Alley set, but which modular buildings would you think would work best as a secret passage to DA?
