  1. Hi! This is the right topic! Is 3x3 the limit? You could use a 2 x 4 liftarm: http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=32140 Or even better....the 3x5 liftarm: http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=32526 Like this:
  2. Currently only one USB Wifi Dongle is compatible, which is the Netgear WNA1100. Read more on Technicbricks Wifi Dongle or here on Eurobricks in the Mindstorms General Discussion topic.
  3. Xander Soldaat posted a nice article on his Botbench Blog about an awesome USB cable for EV3 daisy chaining. http://botbench.com/blog/2013/09/21/awesome-ev3-daisy-chain-cable/ I have ordered a bunch of cables to do some testing: http://dx.com/p/right-90-degree-angle-usb-2-0-male-to-mini-usb-data-charging-cable-black-max-135cm-227926 http://dx.com/p/cy-u2-001-0-5m-left-90-degree-usb-male-to-mini-usb-male-extender-cable-black-0-5m-199531 http://dx.com/p/cy-u2-058-0-5m-90-degree-right-bend-usb-to-mini-usb-extension-cable-for-hdd-cell-phone-black-200168

  5. Thanks a lot! I will take a look. Indeed The driving ring extension is a major no no
  6. Ps it's 6L now, so that would be perfect.
  7. Yes, that would work. 5L is the minimum. Maximum can be up to 12L or something.
  8. Me too. Fortunately gravity is working for me, so it won't be a problem this times, but still I would like to know if there's a better solution for this problem.
  9. Sweet! Really like those. Might see ya
  10. Is there any way to extend the proposed solution. I need 5L instead of 4L.
  11. Because you never told me... until now.... (just kidding) Now that you mention this, I have seen this solution and it might work. Have to change some things, but at least the slack will be gone. Thanks for the tip, I will see if this fits
  12. I am working on my Wheel-E (or Wheel-EV3) robot and I need to work with axles through a turntable, much like the 8043. See the image below, nothing out of the ordinary. There is much slack in/between the gears (especially) when reversing direction. I am using motors to power the gears, but when I reverse direction it takes a while for the Driving Ring and Driving Ring Extension to connect/link (not sure how to call this, but you should know what I mean). Using two extensions obviously worsens this problem. Since I am using gravity as a counter force it probably won't be a real problem, but I am wondering is there is a way to achieve this without the Driving Ring and Extensions, so there's no slack in the gears. Preferably the solution should not involve glue
  13. Of course! Added! Thanks Jan

  16. Hi, Being too late is not really an issue. The issue is that the model you are building is hardly visible. Doing a timelap build is best done on a (preferably white or light) table with the camera hanging above to table. So I appreciate your effort, but it's not very entertaining to watch. PS you already mentioned it wasn't the best timelap video, so you probably already knew
  17. And don't like it...I love it! Very well done. It indeed looks like the real deal.
  18. Ahhh okay. In that case, it was a bit confusing Regardless of the chipset, the most important thing is indeed to get the Mini Netgear or Edimax operational. And storing WiFi settings, because you have to enter these everytime you start the brick.
  19. Thanks for the info.
  20. I have locked this topic due to lack of content. If you have pictures to post, PM me or another staff member to unlock the topic for you. Thanks!
  21. Same chipset doesn't mean it will work. Check the message Chongas posted
  22. I love almost any chopper, so I would say yes! Reminds that I still need to pick one up myself.
  23. Wow!!! Looking forward to seeing this at Legoworld
