  1. I am afraid I have no hands on experience with brickOS. brickOS isn't even in the index (I will add it)
  2. If we ever do a bike contest, remind me to exclude you from the contest This is one of the most awesome bikes I have ever seen! And a very nice presentation!!
  3. Indeed! I am moving it to Mindstorms Programming
  4. Hi guys, We have no explicit permission to share the project files. On the other hand; TLG hasn't said it's prohibited. So basically, I don't know Let me see what I can do. --------------- I've already got a short and clear answer......not yet! So be patient, or create your own program. This is part of the fun anyway I will let you guys know if the situation changes.
  5. True! I just found out this is indeed the case. You could create separate threads. Or like you said: "The way I would do this (assuming such functions exist) is to start the motors and continuously check if they reached target positions/angles:" That was my idea as well. But this might be inaccurate. Maybe use PID controllers for both motors, but things will get pretty complicated for an easy function. Set power motor A Set power motor B Check continuously to see whether conditions have been met I am told that Lejos does this better. Quote: In lejos you can rotate 2 motors simultaneously with a different angle. You can use something like Motor.A.controlMotor(speed, forward); (however, the motors will rotate forever, but you can see the difference if you put one in backward and the other motor in forward). You may want to look here : http://www.lejos.org.../nxt/Motor.html
  6. Just to be clear. This doesn't work? RotateMotor(OUT_A, 100, 360) RotateMotor(OUT_B, -50, 180)
  7. Now that you mention it; it's not exactly a building Technique, but this is one of the coolest Technic things I have seen as well. Created by Barman and already discussed here a while ago.
  8. No problem, we can continue now To talk a little bit more about this topic; The Concept Car is a work of art. It's not the most complicated build, but when you are building, it's just pure joy!! Since I've built that car, I was contemplating a Modular Robot, with snap on Wheels, Tracks, etc. Maybe this will be my next project.
  9. I have merged both topics Originally the topic was about official sets, but since the discussion is over we might add MOCs as well. And I agree on your comment about the Concept Car! I see you started the topic. Do you mind me (or you) editing the first post to lose the word Official
  10. Do you want to control the Dunderbygge via IR using the NXT? Or does the Dunderbygge also has an NXT unit?
  11. I think most of us are only interested in the Sensors and some of the special parts, not the common liftarms, axles, etc. But thanks anyway
  12. Hi Becca, I am not very sure what you want to accomplish. The Dunderbygge is controlled via IR? Or does the Dunderbygge have an NXT unit? Can you give me a little bit more details?
  13. And the instructions for the Education Expansion Models. http://robotsquare.com/2013/10/01/lego-mindstorms-ev3-education-expansion-set-45560-instructions/
  14. To finish this topic. Image url was not correct. http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=198235&id=/user_images/10175/1273491021m_DISPLAY.jpg instead of: http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/10175/1273491021m_DISPLAY.jpg
  15. Laurens will also put the expansion models on his site, but for those of you who can't wait. Here's a link to the PDFs: EV3 Education Expansion Models
  16. True! Moved to this topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=87264
  17. The Education software also has some extra options for teachers to manage projects and lessons. These have nothing to do with programming the brick.
  18. Indeed very nice! In a couple of hours I will have some stuff online. "Another cool thing is that they will implement a sharing feature in the software by the end of 2013 or beginning of 2014."
  19. You could use the button in the left most corner to switch to "code view" and type this: [i m g] address [/ i m g] Without the spaces of course.
  20. Great news from TLG regarding the educational models. "We can't and we won't stop the interesting development happening all around the world. So if you can extract BIs you are welcome to share these." With special thanks to Xander Soldaat for asking it So I will create packages for every model with the images (building instructions) and the project file.
  21. Can you try Chrome, like Jantjeuh said?
