  1. I don't really get why we would need electronics for a shrinking contest. But if it makes more people happy, I am okay to allow it.
  2. You mean the gaps which are also present in the real car? Although I must admit, the real car only seems to have half the gaps.
  3. At the end of day, that is more important. Great to hear that progress has been amazing No rush hehe. We will still be here for a while
  4. Maybe it's just me, but when I looked at this pic (quoted intentionally) I thought it looked more than okay. Maybe I am easily satisfied, but for a Technic car, it sure looks like a proper rendition. Okay, the lack of windshield is weird, I admit. But other than that, I think it looks great. The LEGO Ideas submission looks great, but it's not really fair to compare a Technic set with a "System set".
  5. Official pics are all over Facebook.
  6. Cool, thanks. People who don't vote are not allowed to mingle in this discussion
  7. This would have been a clear winner in a "Non-vehicle contest". Awesome job.
  8. We need your votes! Please check out our contest topic and vote.
  9. I know we are all eager for a new contest, but I hardly see any voting going on. I won't be doing another contest if we don't have enough members who are willing to vote. Hosting and participating in contests needs to cut both ways. Please vote!
  10. I think I have that covered for the contest later this year :D
  11. Amazing work! What I even find more amazing is this... "By drakmin, July 15, 2012" It's over ten years now since you started this project and the project is still alive
  12. https://www.nkubate.com/concept-car/ This but in a slightly smaller scale. I do have something else in mind for the contest later this year, but I do like this idea.
  13. This has been on my mind (and on my list) for quite some time.
  14. Yup, feels like a different contest to me.
  15. Technically this doesn't matter if there is not part count limit. Of course, it get's more interesting if the number of left-over parts is as small as possible for each set. Then we need some sort of rule. Either way, this will be a complicated contest. Designing one model is hard, two is even harder and designing four might be too much for lots of builders. Interesting idea though.
  16. I am probably with you on this one.
  17. Maybe just a bounding box limit? That's a difficult one.
  18. I have closed the entry topic. Voting will begin shortly.
  19. We did have some contests during Spring and Summer, so it's no problem. I am trying to figure out what kind of contest would fit Spring and/or Summer.
  20. Ahh yes. Of course, I didn't have a bug. I don't do bugs
