  1. Why are you guys giving me such a hard time with the stickers I am not a big fan of allowing home printed stickers, because it might open up a can of worms. But if you EXACTLY match the scale I am okay with it. Unless there are objections from other contestants.
  2. The rules were pretty simple. Just scale down a model. It's only logical that the more you deviate from the original, the less points you will score. That's no rocket science. And yes, using some alternative parts will obviously be necessary, but it's up to the builder to determine how much deviation is acceptable. Don't worry about it. Your model looks awesome, and to be honest; it doesn't even need stickers if you ask me.
  3. I have edited the first post of the entry topic.
  4. I need to add them. Forgot it. Will do that tomorrow. Basically the usual rules with the addition of a picture of the original model.
  5. Then don't choose these models I can see the Extreme off-roader working perfectly fine without stickers btw. I know a guy who did a review back in the days and he didn't apply the stickers. Model still looked great.
  6. You don’t see it as a problem, but the you pretty much sum up all the reasons why I’m not allowing stickers
  7. No, it's not the same, because 3rd party strings and rubber bands don't make a model look better. Being able to make great stickers is not part of the contest. Would not be fair to people who don't know how to Photoshop and make stickers.
  8. Hi. No custom stickers. You can cut genuine LEGO stickers (at least, I think I said that on one of the previous pages), but that's it.
  9. There are no limits in how you shoot the video. So that's okay.
  10. Of course. Actually....this should be mandatory
  11. I know that TLG was looking into Japanese options. So this could very well be the case. Obviously, this is mere speculation.
  12. Yeah, maybe. Probably not, but who knows. Some people might not be able to make instructions, so it could make a difference.
  13. I did answer this question quite early in the contest. Hmmm good question. Since we are doing Jury voting, I guess it won't harm posting the right away.
  14. The new gearbox pieces sure are a welcome addition. Looking forward to MOCs and the next supercar.
  15. In case of the 8109 it's okay to use system parts to recreate the grill/hood.
  16. I have answered this question in the discussion topic. Adding new functions is not what this contest is about. That being said; a working steering wheel is okay. Actually, I do love this set as well.
  17. Not sure if I can tell. They might sue me Early next week probably.
  18. 15 minutes if my memory serves me right.
  19. We are a community talking about a great new set. Who cares who got them first?!
