Jim replied to Toni-23's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi Tony, Welcome to EB! You are off to a promising start. Great work! However, your pictures are too big. The maximum width is 1024 pixels. You can either resize your pictures, or use an images hosting service like Bricksafe or Flickr. If you use a service, you can upload a big version and embed a smaller version. Can you correct the images? Thank!! -
Most definitely! I'm following most of the big SW MOCs on this site, includings yours Might give it a go some day!

General Part Discussion

I don't think there's a special place where you can buy cheap Pneumatics, but you can try buying directly from LEGO. Although I am not sure if they are cheaper than Bricklink.- 5,505 replies

Never say never, but as far as my contest limits go......I will (most likely) never limit a contest to studded or studless.

Me neither I have been following this discussion and it's getting nowhere. We already got the information about which set is which size and people are still speculating that it's gonna be different. And begging TLG not to cancel sets etc. Come on guys; we can do better than that. This is not some kids Facebook group. We're adults here. Let's talk about the 2016 sets in a mature way. And if there's nothing to add to the discussion, simply don't add another post. I mean....really?! Based on which information?! Having a BWE would be a very welcome addition in my opinion. So please refrain from calling something "a joke as a flagship" while you haven't seen a single picture of it. If TLG cancels a set, they have their reasons. No need to beg, or order them to stop canceling. The fact that we saw a prelim picture doesn't mean they are obliged to release the set. Yeah yeah, we get it.

Wow! I'm blessed with a GF supporting my hobby and buying me LEGO, but I do need to put on the list what I'd like to get. Not that I'm complaining -

Hehe Most of the time I don't even need to peek. The size of the box and my gut feeling tells me enough. Unless it's packed in a bigger box of course But she is smart enough to get you multiple sets of the same type, because you need the parts. Or were friendly enough to remind her....multiple times....with loud screaming etc -
[EV3] Programming
Jim replied to schor's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hey, Welcome to EB. Nice to see a fellow Mindstorms Enthusiast. First of all; you can ask all the questions you want. Not sure that you will get answers to all of 'em but feel free to ask. I must admit that this probably isn't the best place for EV3 questions, but I will do my best to answer them or redirect you to the right source. I do recommend getting a nice book about EV3 programming. With the graphical interface or maybe take some time to learn Robot-c or something. Where are you from? -
