    I would be very suprised if the phase 2 helmets (which will be coming soon even if they aren't in the next BP) are not a solid helmet like the phase 1 and storm trooper ones.

    Well I you watch all the trailers for the new season, the clones are in phase 2 armour. That could mean there is a very good chance these will be phase 2 with maybe a new helmet mold?

    That is a very nice store display! With Star Wars Celebration VI only just over a week away, I am starting to wonder if there will be a exclusive set for the event. I hope so and hope even more it is better than the Comic Con one.

    Only MISB sets. I picked up my 4th copy of that set (used) only last month for UK RRP.

    Well a new minifig Star Destroyer set is not out of the question at all. Hell it has been 6 years since the last one was released. We have had another slave one since the 2006 version of that set, so a SD could well be on the cards then.

    The 2 faction battle packs sound like a very logical idea to me. The kids getting a battle in one pack is a great idea that is bound to sell well. I know in the UK alot of retailers got stuck with unwanted battle packs in the old arrangement. As Lego shipped them in cartons with 3 of each BP (6 in each box) if only one was selling well they got left with loads of the other. This ended up with the Assassin Droid BP always being on sale and the Hoth Rebel and even the Mandolorian BP too.

    Nice collection and a nice set up too. I like the fact you have a fire extinguisher near your UCS Falcon. You don't want that baby going up in smoke!

    I was in the lego store at London Westfield today and as I was paying at the till, when a member of staff walked pass with a fully built Hoth base set. I said the guy serving me "That was not on the shelves!". He then told me that the Star Wars sets were going on sale tomorrow and the Hoth set was going to be £91! It did look better in the flesh but I am not to sure about that price point. The set ended up in a store display case so I got to have a real good look at it and those great new figs.

    You are very right here. They are not very play friendly and pretty hard to build. My Ion cannon was a pig to build and it is still way to small.

    Indeed. The creator of that MOC choose that method because it is the same way TLC do it. He however built the ship first and then split it up into a few large sections and then did the chroming process.

    The new star wars sets have finaly arrived in the UK high street stores with the new Argos catalogue out today. They have the Falcon, Pod Racers, Republic Frigate, Sith Infiltrator, Ewok Attack, Sith Nightspeeder and the Naboo Star fighter. Also worth a mention is that in the catalogue it said the SW advent calendar was coming soon. Still no sign of which store will have the Geonsian Fighter yet. Still the woolies 20% offer make the 5 sets they have much more appealing.

    I know this MOC has been floating around for a few years but i would love it if Amidala came with something like this. Maybe a few chrome tiles on the top to smooth it out a bit more.

    Now that is a impressive wall gratefulnat! I don't think I have ever seen so many built sets crammed into so little space!
