  1. Now that's a whole lot of Snowtroopers! Very nice T.D I like the gungun army too, although I could not have bought them without the shields and weapons. I guess that would have pushed the price way up though.
  2. Ah yes, I remember now. So it could be these clones in the new BP then. Looks like we will have to wait for new pictures to confirm what we get.
  3. I have yet to see any real evidence that phase 1.5 armour even exists. Was it in any of the clone wars TV shows? If it was I missed it. I have seen that picture around with the helmet and fin that you mention but I don't recall seeing it in action ever. To me it all looks like a phase 2 armour but just a different variant.
  4. Well if you look at the box art on the jedi star fighter the Anakin and Gunray both have the orange "new" figure logo next to them and all the figs in the geonosian set have them! That tells me just how preliminary these shots are. Which is why the figs in the new Clone Wars BP are all stand-ins also. I do think it means we are getting phase 2 clones for sure in this BP. That will be in line with what we have seen in the Season 4 previews.
  5. What I mean is this is not the first time TLC has shown a up and coming set in art work for present sets. As I said in the very early days of Eurobricks the 10131 Tie collection was first shown this way. Alot of members here won't remember that though. So the new X-wing and B-wing UCS will be in art work with the Super Star destroyer one day.
  6. Wow! I really like both of those but I already have the stormtrooper one. I suppose I could buy these 2 and put them in the other spare bedrooms.
  7. This might help convince a few of the sceptics. The front of the magazine had next years Tie pictured on it!
  8. While I agree that this is confirmation of the B-wing, the fact that there is only one and many of the Tie's and X-wings, also suggests that it is UCS.
  9. I received my lego Shop catalogue today and found the Super Star Destroyer picture very interesting. Could gray colour B-wing and X-wings outlines be the rumored new sets? Something very similar happened like this with the old 10131 Tie Collection back in the very early days of Eurobricks if I remember correctly.
  10. Not to many purchaces this month but the sets I did get were all on 32% off on Amazon UK! Sith Nightspeeder 2 Ewok Attack Sith Infiltrator SW retail/exhibition banner 1 Clone gunner 8 Plain CW troopers 4 Wolfpack troopers 1 Clone Pilot 6 Rocket Battle droid (these are very cheap on BL)
  11. Well We did get a the X-wing, B-wing and A-wing all in 2006. Followed by the Y-wing the next year!
  12. Amazon UK have the new star wars sets on discount at the moment. The best deals are for the Ewok Atack set and the Sith Nightspeeder. Both are 32% off at £17.80!
  13. The mist is clearing....... I can see a big "I told you so" in your future....
  14. Very nice imperial army lorddrizzt! A real good number of Stormtroopers you have got there. Well have at least another 35 clones in unopened sets, so unless I only buy 5 more clones,(never going to happen ) I guess I am going to go over 1000 soon. I am kind of hoping we get another BP with standard Battle Droids and Super BD in 2013 or a good set next year with good droid numbers. Would be good to top up the Battle droid army a bit more.
  15. No doubt Clones are my main focus with the republic vehicles too. I do have others armies too with a very good size Droid army on paper (lots of them are still boxed) and a good size Imperial one also.
  16. Well seeing as the Super Star Destroyer Executor is not yet released then it would be very strange for TLC to also release a UCS B-wing this year too. Not impossable but I would bet for this to be a next year set. If it is confirmed of course!
  17. Nice army Farit. Thanks for the comments guys. Each baseplate has 12x16 figs so 960 is the total in these pictures.
  18. I wonder if the R2-D2 will look anything like the one we were showed when the voting for the Motorised AT-AT was going on a few years ago.
  19. Looks interesting! Also a B-wing set is listed! 10227
  20. I am in total agreement with Clone O'Patra also. The themes you mention are all aimed a very young age group. The Indiana Jones, Prince of Persia and Harry Potter have all been of the same standard of the Star Wars sets in the same release times. The old Batman and Spiderman sets were very good also with some great set designs. The Star wars sets do seem to have pushed forward with the whole lego line. You only have to look at the 2000 Slave 1 and last years to see just how far things have come in 10 years.
  21. Thanks Starstreak for the fantastic and detailed review! This is one of those set that was a real let down for me. If you look at you build photo's they should have stopped when the command center and medical room was done. It would have been much cheaper and had all the details it really needed. What we ended up with was a bloated set with nice parts just thrown together. As a set it is a waste but for parts I think it might just about be worth it if you can get it 15-20% off.
  22. Nice looking collection TheDarkness. I would have like to have seen them setup but I can wait till you get all your extras arrive. Edit:23 August Some figs I had ordered arrived today! I am now ready for a new army pic, as I have finally filled 5 XL base plates. Next clone update will be after the new BP in the new year now, so I hope you enjoy these. Pilots and Commanders. Shadow ARF and Wolfpack Clones.
  23. Very nice setup! I really like the extended bunker and the tree looks very good too. Like some others have said it would be nice to have the whole shelf setup on baseplates.
  24. A stunning review of of a great set! This is a great set and was one of the very good 10th Aniversary sets. A very good balance of play features and detail make this a winner for me. A worthy note might be that this was priced at a very reasonable £99.99 (what I paid) for the first year of release before TLC ramped up the price by £23! Thank you again for such a wonderful review Brickdoctor.
  25. Bit of a unusual one this but a got my second retail/exhibition display banner today. The first one I bought years ago. both are 90cm(3') X 200cm(6'6"). New one. Old one.
