  1. A great little diorama but I think you could have just come up with what could be a great idea for the lego line. Imagine loads of real RC lego podracers and kids (maybe a few adults ) racing them! Anyway great mini and a well executed scene.
  2. Well I never bothered with the Technic sets (they always looked ugly) or the Super packs (3 sets I already own in a different box, come on) but everything else I am almost up to date with. UCS SSD from last year and 3 sets from the january wave is all need to be complete again, until the summer that is.
  3. I don't think I will ever go down that route (unless I win the lottery ) but maybe a bigger house might be in order . Either that or I might just have to start opening sets and folding boxes flat. That might help a fair bit. I am glad the license has been extended but I would also not have minded if they had announced a end to it.
  4. Yeah, that pretty much sums me up. In the last 13 years of collecting I am already nearly up to 750 Star wars sets bought and probably 500+ of those in the last 6 years! I know for sure that my present house can't stand up to firepower (purchases) of that magnitude!
  5. Oh crap!! Don't tell my wife, she will kill me for sure. Great news for us fans though!
  6. Amazon UK have loads of Star Wars sets on sale at the moment for around the 20-25% mark. The most noteable being some of the january sets. Droid Escape £16.52 17% off Geonosian Cannon £16. 67 17% off X-wing £39.94 20% off Tie Fighter £39.82 20% off

Droid Escape £16.52 17% off Geonosian Cannon £16. 67 17% off X-wing £39.94 20% off Tie Fighter £39.82 20% off I used some of my birthday vouchers to order the X-wing and Tie fighter.
  8. Very nice job! You should have put up a comparison as it looks great next to the original.
  9. Thanks for the birthday wishes guys! No lego this year as I asked for vouchers, so I can hit the sales hard we they come! I did get two BL orders today with various Clones in them though. Hope the others have had great Birthdays too!
  10. Seeing as your pictures are on Brickshelf you need to resize them on your computer in paint or some other editing tool before you upload them.
  11. Fantastic review Masked Builder! Some really great shots of the figs and the set. I am up to 4 of this set now still waiting for some good deals to kick in. Brickaddeer 800 X 600 is the the maximum size for pictures on this forum. As legoman273 said you need to resize them.
  12. That price was euros not pounds, Should be around the £70-80 mark over here
  13. Argos has both the Ewok Attack set and the Sith Night Speeder with £10 off! £15.99 is a bargain for the Ewok set! Edit: just noticed they only seem to come up on the Argos App. The website does not bring them up. Edit2: Direct links to the sets. Ewok Attack Sith Night Speeder
  14. I have a few of these guys and like others I don't think you would want them in large numbers. They probably make up 7-8% of my clone army and I think that is to much. They really did drop the ball with that Battle pack. 1 bomb squad trooper and a plain clone would have made such a better choice. Even more so now the Turbo tank and the Star Wars Brickmaster book are the only way left to get one.
  15. Well in the UK some stores seem to have the sets on a exclusive licence for a limited time. Tesco stores quite often have a set that only they sell for the first 6 months of release. Then they stop selling it and the set ends up for sale at quite a few different outlets. Only the TrU exclusives seem to remain exclusive for them here.
  16. Happy birthday KimT! hope you have a great day.
  17. It's a good idea to say what country you are in, if you want helpful answers.
  18. You did a great job on this and it is great to see it from many angles in true brick form.
  19. Made a few good buys this month but not really any sets, well not counting the mini sets that is . Still waiting for the deals for the 2012 sets to appear. 1 30058 STAP 1 30056 Mini Star Destroyer 5 30052 Mini ATT 16 CW Pilots 12 CW Clone Troopers 2 Hoth Officers 4 Hoth Rebel Troopers 1 TX-20 (Tactical Droid)
  20. Great to see your lovely display updated again legolandia! Looks like room is starting to run out now though. Will you have another shelf made?
  21. Thank you you for the fantastic review Siegfried! This is by far the best TIE we have had ,ok so it is a close second the the UCS Vader's TIE but still . The Minifigs are great in what is really only a medium size set. The price is a little steep, with this being £10 more than your pictured TIE Defender in the UK. I will be looking for a 3 for 2 deal to get my copies of this set.
  22. Very nice review! I really like this set, the cannon is good the figs are great and the price (well in the UK) is good too. Really nice sharp pictures D.W!
  23. The Lego star wars Battle of Hoth game is out now in Argos. Price is £24.99 which is quite high for a lego game. Battle of Hoth at Argos
  24. These things have been turning up quite a bit of late. Loads are on ebay for a ok price. Ebay Gunship
  25. Hey Sarg, great to see you around again and still using the bricks too. Have you thought of this newish part. It is available in light blueish gray on Bricklink. 8 of them might do just what you want. Part on BL
