  1. Thanks for the great review! This has to be one of the best mini's to-date for me. The design is near perfect for something of this size. Now Like KimT I have to wait for mine to arrive.
  2. Wow! That vulture Droid is stunning for a mini! I wonder if it has a standing mode?
  3. As I said I am looking for clone wars clones for trades and for a full set of series 1 minifigs would be £38 + £6-7 P&P worldwide £3.50 UK. Should have put that in the first post. Edit: and now I have!
  4. Well 1-1 on all figs apart from the Spartans and Zombies. Even then this would depend on the figs up for trade, as a clone pilot fig would be 1-1 again or maybe 1-2 even on the other figs. Best way is to PM me what you want and what you have. We can then go from there.
  5. Well I have come to the decision that I am not really interested in keeping my collectable minifigs. I am starting to realize that for me it has to be Star Wars lego or nothing else. This might change one day if the Star wars line ever ends but for now It's out with non SW stuff. :) Edit: What is now left. So I have 1 full set of series 1 figs can be seen below in this pic. All the figs are in a like new condition and come with their bags they came in and extra items they came with. I would like to keep the full set together, as it means less posting for me to do. For a full set of series 1 minifigs would be £38 + £4 P&P worldwide £3.00 UK. I also have these extra figs from series 1 and 2 for sale. £2.50 a fig but £3.50 for the zombies. Paypal only outside UK. Again the figs are in a like new condition and come with their bags they came in and extra items they came with.
  6. Thanks for all the comments guys! Yep, finally a good price and way to big!
  7. This little beauty dropped in yesterday and was supposed to be part of my febuary Birthday present but as I have been unwell over christmas my wife said I could have it today! So here is my review of the 10215 Obi-Wan's Jedi StarFighter. Parts: 676 Price: RRP $100 £95 Reduced now (late dec 2010) $75 £66 The box The back of the box The box contents including a large sticker sheet! Boooo, Hisss. The instruction page for the bags. The first bags are the main hull. This is the early stage cockpit. A clever way of getting lots of studs on the under side here. Here they are attached to the bottom of the hull. Anybody who still thinks the droid head is not oversized is crazy! The head here is the same size as the pilot would be sitting down! Here you can see how the SNOT part of the build is put together. The cockpit has some very nice detailing. The tile here is printed. The first set of bags and the main hull is finished. The wings are pretty much mirrors of each other apart from where the droid goes. The final bags are for the stand. It does not tilt in any way so the ship can only spin on a horizontal axis when on it which is a shame. The plaque. The sign of a true UCS set! The finshed set looks very good! the cockpit looks great on display Wing detailing is ok and the engines look good. I really like the way the back of the ship has been rounded off. The underside of the ship also looks very neat and tidy. No sloppy unfinished look here. There is know doubt that this set is worthy of the UCS badge! It has the manacing look of a real fighter! Final overall shot. There you have it. The set that most people liked apart from the price. Me I always loved the set and can even forgive the oversized droid head (It really is nice to look at) but the RRP was never going to work for me. It looks like even at the reduced sale price this thing is not going to be a sell out so I hope TLC learn from this. Give us great set but don't try to rip us off. These sets are amied at the more committed fans after all! Great set! Now at a realistic price!
  8. The falcon looks pretty good! Shame about that last page. Most important picture and it's rubbish.
  9. As Brickdoctor said they will be around on the shelves for a few months but after that the price will probably be doubled by the end of next year, if not more!
  10. I would say it is already! The last production run for this set would have been this summer if the last Battle packs have been anything to go by. What is left in the stores now will be the last of that stock.
  11. Looking at the other star wars sets that are already on the Kiddiwinks website the new falcon has the same price point as the 8039 Venator. So whatever price the Venator is in your country should be a pretty good guide for the new falcon price. UK £100 8039 Venator R 1,984.00 7965 Millennium Falcon R 1,977.00
  12. This little beauty dropped on my door mat today from the states so I though why not do a review! Set Number: 20018 Name: Mini AT-AT Year of Release: 2010 Pieces: 83 The Bag is one of those huge oversize bags but then TLC has never been enviromentally friendly with packaging! This set comes with a good selection of parts with plenty of hinge pieces. The build as with all the mini sets is quick and pretty fun. The shape of the main hull is quite good for a mini. Now the head is a very nice design! It looks almost better than the new minifig one! The legs while simple work well and look good. The finished set is very good and has alot of the scale right in my opinion. I know the detail they are going for is right but some how the hole in the back here is all wrong! The great legs make for a very poseable AT-AT. A final shot of the whole set. My thoughts are that this is another very well put together mini. The look of the AT-AT has been very well captured and scale looks pretty darn good to me. If you get a chance to get it I would recommend this set!
  13. Not in the UK they aren't. I did not check everywhere else but I know alot of guys have been asking when these were coming out(I was one of them )!
  14. The lego star wars alarm clocks have finally turned up on a few UK gadget sites! One for the Chistmas list I think! Pre order for november 1st. http://www.firebox.com/product/2762/Star-Wars-LEGO-Man-Alarm-Clocks?currency_conversion=1&aff=512&awc=550_1287498257_2885fa0b90573bc22b52412cedce131c
  15. Well as a lifetime Star Wars fan and a childhood lego fan, it was inevitable really. My girlfiend (now my wife) made the mistake of a lifetime by buying me the 7110 landspeeder set back in the summer of 1999 as the star wars line first started. I think within a month I had bought all the first run sets and then there was no stopping me. I bought a few sets in multipules for the first few years but in 2006 things really started to go mad with me buying 3 or 4 of alot of the sets and when Battle packs came out it was just meltdown time!! 35 clone walker BP even I know it sounds crazy! Still I was never tempted by the technic sets so that's some kind of saving!
  16. Some very nice armys and collections over the last few days! I love seeing a whole collection like your Masked Builder! Here is a pic of my Hoth Rebel forces. So far....
  17. Holy Cow! I did not realise the price of this set had gone up so fast! Really wishing I had bought a second one to sell like I was going to do at the time! Well I should just be happy that I bought it in the first production run.
  18. I really don't get all this "we have not seen this stuff" comments. By the time these sets hit the shelves the 3rd season win be nearly half way though! Plenty of time to see episodes these sets are based on. If not then the few months of episodes after christmas might show the sets!
  19. Thanks for the great review KimT! They are all very cool but boba has to be my favourite. I would say that they look better than the clone wars ones but there really is not that much in it. I have also taken the plunge and bought both cube dude sets from ebay. I have not decided yet if I should open them though. I have played with the idea of buying the parts from BL so I can then at least get to build them.
  20. My clone army has reached over 500 now from my opened sets. Still have a few in the unopened ones but here is the latest pic.
  21. A fantastic job of one of my favourite Star Wars ships. The Decal work is awesome and the custom troops very cool to.
  22. Well I did put this together back in march but forgot to post it here. Once again this is made from 2 BP and forcing myself to use every part!.
  23. Dam! I was putting off buying these as I thought they were not really much of a real star wars set! Now after your great review, I see that this year the Comic Con exclusive is almost made to retail standards of packaging. Crap! looks like some Ebay scalper is going to get my money.
  24. I got back into lego back in 1999 when the star wars line started and in all that time i have never been tempted or interested in the Technic sets. Your great detailed reviews over the last few days have proved to me that i was not mistaken to give these sets a very wide birth!
  25. Yep these are real. There are pictures of them in the official Celebration V Exhibitor Exclusives PDF doc. Click the PDF page 4.
