The new tie looks great and I love how they did the wings! Queen Amidala looks absolutely fantastic! We could not have hoped for a better fig. I just hope they do give us her in her Royal Starship, that would be the icing on the cake. This pic tells us they do.

I did say we "wanted" it not expected it. This set could have been so much more! You only have to look at some peoples hoth MOC's of late, to see how good this could have been.

Thank you for the great and detailed review StoutFiles! Apart from the figures this set is such a huge failure! What worries me the most is that this set might still sell quite well and we get more crap like it! We wanted this! We got a pile of lego bricks that most of the members here could put together in a much better way that this designed set. The designer of this set should hang his head in shame!

Well it might not just be argos but I know they are a big player. Tesco also are having a clearout for their new catalogue coming soon as do most other catalogue firms this time of year.

I am pretty sure it is down to Argos. With them being one of the biggest retailers of lego in the UK they have the power to ask TLC to hold off on sale of the sets. This was the same with last years Star Wars sets only being on full release when the new Argos catalogue came out. On another note I have just picked up the Republic Frigate with 10% of from my second Woolworths online order. Got another free 2011 SW minifig poster with it too!

Is that it! Just a normal calendar inside another box with some printed poster. This is a pass for me.

Well it looks like there is a good chance there won't be a Star Wars Comic Con release this year. I would think The DC licence Is going to get most of TLC attention this year. I hope I am wrong but I get the feeling I am not.

I was lucky enough to have bought the pre-order first edition Falcon which to this day is in my loft/attic unopened. Still waiting for the room, to display all my stuff. I do understand your pain as this set is now selling for stupid amounts but I think the Stoutfiles is right. As a collectors set this has to be (like most lego sets anyway) a one off production run.

Nice order! No Ewok Attack set though? I am going to try and be stick to my guns this year and only buy the new sets at reduced prices or some kind of deal. 3 Republic Frigates in a 3 for 2 deal is the one I am really after!

Boots.com has a 3 for 2 offer on a large part of it's lego selection. No Star Wars Battle packs though.

Sounds like the short lego star wars movie "LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace" which is also being screened in the US that very night.

Eyes must have been deceiving me then. (thanks to MarvelousRoland for that picture) What I mean is, if sets like the unreleased black pearl make it into the book, then any SW sets cominig out this year should also. I do say should there.

Surely any new set for this year would have been in the new lego collector book that has just come out?

With Comic Con 2011 just over 2 weeks away, I am starting to wonder if TLC has anything planned for this years event. Last year we had the fantastic Cube Dudes for this and the Star Wars Celebration V. I do hope they have come up with something to top last years promo but I don't think my wallet does!

I got this yesterday and found the build very good, with a excellent parts selection. The tree is much better in person than any pictures I have seen. A very good little set and even worth the UK RRP.

Well Lego has most star wars sets split into 2 groups (not counting exclusives). Movies and Clone Wars. So counting the 3 EP1 sets, we have 6 movie sets in this summers release and only 3 Clone Wars sets.

I got my first summer set today Ewok Attack from woolworths today so they are shipping. Better still I got a free Star Wars 2011 limited edition minifig poster!

Well seeing as TLC has grouped all star wars sets into Clone Wars and Movies, there is a very good chance the next BP is from the prequels films.

Well I would not mind 1 in a battle pack with some normal battle droids and a Super battle droid again. It has been along time since we had battle droids and super ones in a BP. I think it is about time we had them again as the last time was in a Ep3 BP! Well before the CW cartoon.

Wow! This is one of those things I thought I would never see. Like the others have already said this is a real must have item for the very rich collectors out there. A proper auction would be a better way to go, with some really good advertising before hand to make sure it is well known along time before it goes under the hammer. Nice collection of UCS and exclusive sets there. They always look so good on display. I really must get round to building my unopened ones
