Looks like the new star wars sets are finally available to order in the UK. Woolworths online store has all the sets ready for delivery.

WOW! Really good! I like that even though you made it twice the size, It still has the same play features of the set! Maybe you could make the sails bigger, by scaning them and printing them out bigger. Just a thought.

Thanks for the great review NTF! This is the release of the summer for me! Love the ship in the new colours, the figs are fantastic! The only down side for me is the lack of printed parts on the big curved panels. That is pretty minor gripe in a otherwise wonderfull set. I have already bought 4 Wolfpack troopers from BL for when I do finaly get my hands on this set too.

Sorry, but I have no time for people who tell such blatant lies. I would be very surprised if he is even the real owner of that pictured army. -

I hate to rain on your parade but I don't think so. 10,000 LEGO Clone Troopers pic by Aryo Gono, Flickr I think you have to collect a little more to achieve this. -

Very cool. Did you buy them from BL? One problem I find is buying the figs means you have to also buy the guns. There is no way I can let my troops go unarmed! (unless it's a pilot or the gunner fig) Can't wait to se these guys all on parade. -

Is that not just the same as the one in the new republic frigate set? -

This is a outstanding set for me and a must have purchace! I can forgive the inaccuracies as with all UCS Lego sets, none of them are perfect. -

Give me a chance! The sets are not even out yet in most countries! I have got one from BL though -
Thank you for the great review! I am in complete agreement with Rufus here. The set is good but falls down in to many areas to be called better in opinion. The under side is truly shocking for the price-point TLC is asking! I will be looking to get this on some kind of sale, maybe a 3 for 2 deal with 2 republic frigates.

Very Nice armies what! I should have got more gungans back when they were very cheap, as they make a great army! Cool to see all those snail tanks too! The Wookies are my favourite though! Very cool! It is a shame Lego never gave us more variants of them though. -
I think there is a good chance of a Geonosian BP this Jan. This year we had the Clone Wars one, now it is time for a movie one and with all the prequel sets coming out, it could well be a prequel BP. I would still love to see a picture with the old wings on the new geonosian.

I think we have first prize for most dedicated Lego fan here!

A member over on BrickHorizon has posted some pics of most of the summer sets and reviewed them in small detail.

Well it looks like Smyths toys have all the sets online, with a release date of 20th July. They are also listing the Star Wars advent calendar as £24.99. Smyth Lego Star Wars

Thanks for thwe great review! The set is quite a bit bigger than the old, one which is good. If you have one to hand is there a chance you could post a picture of the new geonosian with the old geonosian wings on him?

It is probably a bit of all three and also a bit of a addiction too. I do have over 120 of the various BP sets, which makes up a good part of my collection. -

Well I have bought 14 of both Hoth BP, 7 Hoth base sets, 4 7666 Echo base sets, 3 4483 AT-AT, 1 motorised AT-AT, 1 new AT-AT, 3 Wampa cave sets and loads of the snow speeders. Problem is, lots are still sealed or packed away in my loft/attic. -
Thanks for the comments guys. I think you have to consider that this set was cheaper to buy than the new Ewok attack set (In the UK anyway)! So even with all it's issues, it should be forgiven for it's low price point. If this set had been £45-$50 set, then yes It would have been a huge let down. I bought both for UK retail. £25

Star wars Revenge of the Sith ended with the Ultimate Lightsaber Duel between Obi-wan kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. Lego obviously wanted to cash in on the huge cinamatic moment, so came up the 7257 Ultimate Lightsaber Duel set. Ok, that may have sounded a little harsh so lets have a look the set. The box Front Probably one of the most talked about thing TLC has ever done was Light-up-Lightsaber minifigs. Love them or hate them, it was a crazy idea to put something with a small battery life on the front of the box, so any little fingers could press them over and over! The back, showing some play features. Top. More play features and the minifigs. Side Instuctions These are quite a bit tatty, as I am reviewing a second hand set not the MISB boxed one pictured. A random page The page showing all the play features This page shows some pretty interesting alternative models. The 2 light-up minifigs. The battery is located in the torso with a small wire inside the molded arm to the lightsaber. The torso and legs are glued and the molded arm and ligthsaber is all one part. This is also non-removeable. Here you can see the figs with the Lightsabers lit up. My Obi-wan is starting to lose his battery power and the batteries can not be replaced . The build of the set is quite straight forward but if you have seen the film you will know what part they are trying to recreate. The platform is quite good comes with some good trans orange parts. The back part of the platform is quite simple with a collapsible part to spill the trans orange round bricks on someone. The floating platform The full set looks quite impressive considering this was a £25-$30 price tag when it came out! The minifig slidy-arm-things work ok, as long as you have them flat on the platform surfaces. If you lift them up to high the figs are top heavy and end up upside-down. The set is very good for recreating some cool jedi fight scenes. The full set overview. When this set came out it was widely slammed as a rubbish. I think over time, it has grown on me and now looks like a very good value set. Second hand prices for this set are still not to bad on ebay but the MISB ones don't look like such a bargin.

This one? If so it is a clone from the battle of Kashyyyk in Episode III. -

Yep, as Brickdoctor pointed out I only got one Shadow ARF from the May the fourth promo. The rest were all BrickLink purchaces. As it has been over 2 months since my last army update and I have gained a few more figs, I though would post a few new photos. -
Indeed! I might be in a very small percentage of Lego Star Wars shoppers but madoka is in a league of his own!

A perfect MOC! A truly amazing piece of work! The detail, the scale.... just stunning!!
