  1. Well I will start with just my last 2 months purchases. Sets 14 Clone Battle Packs 1 Republic Fighter Tank 1 Separatist Spider Droid 1 Republic Swamp Speeder 1 Brickmaster Mini Slave 1 5 Battle of Naboo 2 BrickMaster Mini Bounty Hunter Gunship 14 Shadow ARF troopers (13 from BL) 1 Brickmaster mini Turbo Tank (I wanted another one to keep MISB) 1 Brickmaster mini Venator (I also wanted another one of these to keep MISB) Minifigs 1 Wicket 31 plain CW clones 10 ARF troopers 10 Horn Company Troopers (the ones with the sand green printing)
  2. Awesome droid army! I would love to see them marching against a clone army. Sorry you have to estimate. I will try to get you a up-todate photo and accurate troop count soon.
  3. Thank you for the great review of this set! I am looking forward to getting this set, those ewok minifigs are brilliant! The detail in the logray fig is amazing! Not sure if it justifies the same UK price point as the Battle of Naboo set so I will be looking to get it on some kind of 3 for 2 deal.
  4. Army additions from the May the 4th Promo.
  5. Just under the nose of the X-Wing at 5:24 on this clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6uQ1ROQm0k
  6. I would pick one of the new Wolf Pack Clone troopers! Those guys are going to be worth just as much as a Shadow ARF.
  7. I did a little digging after reading the hoth base post. Meet R-3PO and yes he was on Hoth!
  8. The more I read here the more disappointed I become in the way TLC handled this whole promotion. From the 2 details that I saw on this promo, the ARF should have only gone out to customers who ordered Star wars sets to the required amount. Not sets from other themes, no wonder they ran out so fast! It clearly states that all the orders get the poster but only Star Wars purchases over the stated amount get the ARF!
  9. Thanks for the review! I really like this set and even think you a little over critical on the design . It ia a mini after all so design flaws are always going to be more evident than in system sets. The overall shape looks very well caputured to me, with most of the cockpit shape very well reproduced. The colour scheme is also pretty good for a set of this size. Can't wait for the 2 I have ordered off BL to arrive. They were no where near $30 either!
  10. I was obviously one of the lucky UK members, as I got my Shop@home order today and it came with my ARF trooper. I did order at 7:00 AM on the 3rd but i know of a few customers who have been disappointed. Still I am sure the fig will turn up again soon so others can get one. I have also bought 7 from BL but the chance to get a few more for my army would be nice too.
  11. I bought another 2 Naboo sets to get my ARF fig even though I already have 4 . Probably one of the few sets I don't mind paying RRP for.
  12. Completely addicted to Star Wars Lego!

  13. Fantastic pictures and a fantastic collection! I am going to assume this is not even close to your full collection of clones and vehicles too. As this is a MOC of some sort then it does deserve it's own topic guys.
  14. Pictures of the UK postcard and UK Black ARF offer. I like the blue markings!
  15. Ditto to that. The size is by far the most accurate. Why they don't just bite the bullet and make a new mold for the back/arms/guns part I don't know. It could be so much better.
  16. Minifigures - 8014 Clone walker BP. I great set of figs that means you can just keep buying loads of it. I know I did. Pieces - 8014 Clone walker BP again. Lots of good parts that can be use for almost anything! Design - 7654 Droid BP. The speeder was ok and did it's job but the STAP was perfect! Design wise though none of the sets look amazing, as it was always about the minifigs!
  17. So after a month and a half the project is finaly complete. Close to 4000 parts ordered in total with somewhere around a 1000 parts left over. I always over order just in case! The full flight with 1 group leader and 4 standard y-wings. All 6. Overall I am pretty happy with how they turned out. The nose on the standard Y-wings was something I toyed with to try and get the stripes all the way to the tip. I did not like the way the I lost the shape of the nose so reverted back to my original method. The other main gripe is the lack of a left and right 12x3 dark red wedge plate. Not a lot I can do though as the part does not exsist in that colour yet. Hope you like them.
  18. Very nice minifig collection and very good display! It really shows off all the figs well.
  19. Amazon UK has the Battle of Naboo set for a great price of £17.99. Almost a third off!
  20. Since we first saw the pictures of this mini set I knew I was going to love it! Now I have it in my hands, I think this is one of the best mini sets we have had so far! I don't include the Brickmaster sets in that statement as they get much higher part counts. The bag looks great showing of the set very well! The parts are good for a mini, with the part count coming in at 45 and 3 of that being extras. The instuctions showing the underside. The main Hull/body of the droid. The Wings/legs. The fantastic completed set! It does not quite look right in walking mode but for only 42 parts I think we can forgive that. The 3 parts left. The full set. As I said at the start of the review this is a amazing set for a mini. The look of the vulture droid has been recreated near perfectly. 42 Lego parts have never looked so good in my opinion!
  21. I managed to order a few of these from a BL seller in Hong kong last week and got the mini Vulture Droid too for a good price for each set. Only draw back was his min spend was $100 so I had to order quite a few of each. Name: Republic Attack Cruiser Number: 50053 The bag Is pretty much standard mini stuff. The parts. Only 44 pieces and 3 of those are spare. The instuctions. This is about halfway thought the build. No interesting building methods to speak of. The finished set. The left overs. The whole set. While it's not as nice as the vulture droid mini it is still a ok little set. For 41 parts how can we really expect anything more? The build is not much to shout about and the parts are all standard stuff too. Hopefully this will be available everywhere pretty cheap soon so all can get there hands on one.
  22. Well I only bought one wookiee Catamaran set but after it came out I bought 5 swamp speeders in parts from BL. They were very cheap at the time and I think each one only cost me about £8 a speeder. I did however buy 4 of that part from BL all from different sellers as part of the Y-wing project. So I only had to take 2 out of my swamp speeders to finish the Y-wing.
  23. The project is nearly finished all the Y-wings are built with 2 missing some small parts that I missed on my BL orders . Also waiting on some R series droids from USA BL to finish of the ships . Oh god I was afriad someone would ask me this . This is something I am not going to do I am affraid. It would mean taking the ships apart and taking loads of photos and I just don't have that kind of time free. Plus there are some very rare parts in the Dark red Y-wing that you just can't get enough of, unless like me you already have them . Sorry CommanderFox as I am sure this was not the answer you were looking for . The very rare part is this one in dark red. It was only available in one set with only 1 piece in each set, and you need 6!
  24. After a few 3 for 2 deals in the UK my clone army has grown a bit. The full army with phase 1 and 2 clones. No imperial toops here.
  25. Those arms are not too expensive on BL. I bought replacement arms and blasters for all my old Battle droids.
