Ah yes but re-releasing a single minifigure that was £2 (in the UK) and re-releaseing a set which a collector paid £350 (Falcon, again UK) are to very differnt things, aren't they.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

Actually I missed them, so I will be on the lookout for them too. I am only after one as I have no interest in a army of Darth Maul's. -
Congratulations for the most stupid argument ever! I really don't understand why people don't get that the UCS sets are collectables! They are even marketed that way! As for my forcing them comment, it was if you want a customer to collect your exclusive collection, then you don't start re-releaseing items.

Not really a good point as you would alienate the collectors/customers that have been with them from the begining by almost forcing them to buy a very similar expensive set again.

It seems the Darth Maul polybag has started to show up in good numbers on Bricklink at a semi reasonable price. They are all gone now but I am sure more will come along soon. The sellers seem to be located in the far east asia. BL DM Polybag price guide -

This is a very good MOC! You have captured the whole scene perfectly. Any plans to expand it more?

A few good UK SW deals around at the moment. Pixmainia has the UCS Obi-wans Starfighter for great price of £60! This set is no longer on UK shop@home too. UCS Obi-wan's Starfighter Amazon UK has the Battle of Hoth game reduced by 28% to £17.99 Battle of Hoth

I really don't get why people who missed these sets just can't except it! They go on about other sets for the star wars line being re-released but these sets are not like other sets. The clue is in the name people Ultimate Collectors Series. It is not called that for nothing. Now if it was called the Casual Collectors Series then maybe these points would be valid . These sets are sold as exclusive sets with mainly high prices that only serious collectors can afford, so once the sale figures drop off the set is discontinued for that reason. Not so the after sales market can now profit. The UCS Star Destroyer was available for almost 6 years as there was the demand for the set. People also seem to for get that the UCS Falcon was available for 2 and a half years but was one of the first ever sets to do pre-orders with a 6 month wait too! That almost killed me!

WOW! That is quite a Tusken army! I think even Anakin would have had trouble slaughtering that lot! -
May the Fourth and now Revenge of the Fifth?
mutley777 replied to mutley777's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I too was hoping for a chance to pick up the NY toy fair Darth Maul fig but things seem to be pointing possibly to a chrome fig TC-14. Well I think that one is more likely than the other mad rumor of a chrome Ewok! I must point out that these still very much unconfirmed rumors. TC-14 -
A member over at Brickshelf was mentioning the May the Fourth promo to a Lego brand store member of staff in the UK and got this very interesting response. Seeing as the last May the Fourth promo was such a big success (or not if you missed out on the fig) then a double promo/free gift makes scense. The 2 Christmas/Holiday sets were pretty good incentives to make a order so why not do the same with the Star Wars.

You have my support Pedro as I loved the BP when you first did it. The only real road block I can see is that this now does not conform to the new battle in a box BP's.

Well on the ground floor of my house there is no sign of lego at all believe it or not. Only upstairs in the bedrooms do you see any real signs and even then only a few boxes on wardrobes and a UCS Star Destroyer. My clone army lives in a cuboard with the base plates and figs stacked on top of one another. I do hope to one day have a house with a large basement or atic room so things can finaly start to go on display. I reckon a 25x25 metre (82x82 feet) room should be about right! -

Well I have been waiting for sales . A full Army picture is still an good month away as I have almost but not quite filled another large gray Baseplate. Check out Legoboy productions for a huge army update! Even made me a little jealous. -
Great review Oky! Some very nice pin sharp pictures of the set and figs! I have yet to get this set as I am still waiting for TrU to do a 3 for 2 deal so I can get this and another X-wing and TIE as they are all £50 RRP.

My Wolfpack Clones have gone up a little in numbers, so I decided to sort them out some transportation. I have been buying parts to MOD 2 of my Republic Gunships for a few weeks now an here is the end result. -

A very nice setup Oky! It is always nice to have a lego room or shelves if you can fit them in. Your collection is very impressive. -

A fantastic job! I too love the middle layer! The carbon chamber and the core gantry are amazing quality! Have you tried to see what price LDD gives you for it?

Argos has 20% off most of the new star wars sets.

Boots has loads of lego on sale at the moment. Strangely they don't show the prices they have reduced the sets from or even that they are on sale. Some notable good Star Wars deals are. Republic Frigate £72.99 Anakin's & Sebulba's Podracers £51.99 Battle of Naboo £15.99

Actually 7262 was a different set. It used the new Vaders Tie Fighter (at the time) from the 10131 Tie collection and the Y-wing was now in bley instead of the old grays.
