LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
If it is a Castle-themed CMF Series, I would imagine my ideal series: 1.) Seafaring Knight (if it’s not winning for Prize Minifigure Machine) 2.) Noblewoman (with a new headdress) 3.) Dragon Tamer 4.) Knight Costume Baby (a baby dressed in knight Armour paired with a parent in a wizard costume) 5.) Queen Fairy (wiht a baby figure as a fairy) 6.) Lion King 7.) Wolfpack Knight 8.) Farmer Girl (with a goat kid) 9.) Goat Costume Boy 10.) Zombie Knight 11.) Medieval Witch 12.) Merchant or Trader However, with D&D sereis, Castle series is at its low chance. -

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Speaking of morgue, funeral house has a very low chance too. Somehow, we have graveyard/cementry sets in the past, I don’t know how likely it will be for modular building as half modular building or add-on. Anyways, religious modular buildings are a no-no. -
Speaking of albinism, are there any alinio animals since we have even lion and its cub in 2021?

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
If I remember correctly, we got early leak about Natural History Museum back in August least year, just piece count. And then we got more leaks later in early October. I guess we might get some leak between August and October this year. Like what? I could understand that Boutique Hotel had Easter egg (music hall ad) pointed us to Jazz Club. But Jazz club didn’t have any Easter eggs for Natural History Museum, right? -
I think that rat comes in handy for Halloween.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yeah same here but I will only grab dragon and a few animals from D&D series! -
Oh but i iwll have to point out that i don’t think it’s Lego’s idea to do the shows as their own stories. For example, we Have Space City sets. I have read article that designers tend to interprter Space sets as in distant future., exploring new solar system (not within ours). However with No Limits tv show, there are Wanda About and other characters going to 9th planet (aka Planet X). This suggest that Space sets are in present day instead of distant future and Planet X is within our solar system. Lego desginers’ interpretation vs animation company’s stories, ya know? Lore is just made by compnic and animation companies. So I think it’s becuase another anti Taino company is doing Duke as a police chef which he is out of character.

Are LCA and No Limit produced by the same animation compn ay? I don’t think it’s Lego’s idea to seperate LCA from No Limits.

When you start getting close to how many animals...

Where? -
I always hear that Space and Adneurers should have thier own themes but it really doens’t matter to me. I mean Friends have SPACE and JUNGLE subthemes…. It’s just no point to argue.. Plus, I really like that idea they have done a cross-theme for Space, such as City, Friends, Trechnic, CMF, Duplo, Creator, etc. Maybe Lego will realize that Space City sets are sold well so they could do a standalone theme for Space. Still, it’s no point to argue about Space and Adventureers subthemes for City.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I always wonder if they cold do 0.5 (16x32) modus buidling for this series just like they did Bookshop and Pet Shop in the past. I feel it’s more easier to mix and match them with other full (32x32) modular buildings. And it would be more affordable for half modular building. I really wish they could do Chinese restaurant from Lunar New Year as a modular building instead of a “opened” building. Of course, we can MOD it. But I think it’s cool to see more 0.5 modular buildings. Sure, it’s unlikely. Sure, it will drain your wallet if you buy both half and full modular buildings in same year. -
LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to THELEGOBATMAN's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I think 16x32 Modular building is little tricky for Ninjago City. It’s not like regular Modular. Building Collection. We have seen two 16x32 building buildings n that series, such as Pet Shop and Bookshop sets. -

July 16 here, i can’t wait to ge tmy hands on Stegosaurus and Allosaurus…… my patience is waning. -
LOL, yes! :) Hence, my country is animal kingdom, haha.
-
Right! Persoanlly, I don’t mind that.

I’m getting tired of this argument - i stand with wide range of City subthemes like Space, Jungle, Ocean, Desert, Arctic, Safari, Farming, etc. it’s still neat to have Johnny Thunderd in City sets and it’s also cool to ahve futuristic spacecrafts that are not in the present-day world (even tho there is lore from comic and tv show despit the desginers’ own interpolations). Without those subthemes, will City theme survive longer?
-
I don’t think City is a big mess to me. I would understand that there is not any slot avaaible for thier own theems like. Space and Adventurers. I just don’t care if they are put into City theme, I’m just happy that we get Space and Johnny Thunder. I often hear that Space subtheme shold be seperated from City and be its own theme. I simply shrugged it off my shoulder. I always hear that City subthemes like Africa, Ocean, Jungle, Desert, and Arctic should have thier own themes but I shrug it off my shoulder. I think those subthemes help City sell well, PLUS animals. Without subthemes, City might not survive long enough.

I never heard of TailSpin, Bonnie’s, Goof Troop, but I love watching Darkwing Duck, Duck Tales, Chip n Dale tv shows! not just Disney tv shows but Nintendo’s tv shows too. I think characters from the classic Disney and Nintendo tv shows would be great for CMF and sets.
-
I am not sure why you are so fired up over this. I agree with Murdoch. Space City sets can be discussed in both City and Space threads. Space CMF can be discussed in both Space and CMF threads. Now we can discuss Jungle sets in both City and Adventure threads. I know it’s confusing but it’s Eurobricks.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Agreed with you. A bit taller than standard modular building, just a bit towering over Town Hall. I feel 5 floors is more reasonable. -

That’s shame that people are very familiar with the movies than books…. I can’t remember which characters that do show up in Lego sets that are the book-only? other than Malkin. Anyways,it’s real shame that the Sphinx in the third task was not included in the movie. Sure, the sphinx’s riddle is petty enough to be not included in a movie but…a fantastical creature like sphinx would be cool to have in Lego world. -

Me too. And I hope for a modular skyscraper (at least 3 floors).
