  1. I actually really like the Hoth Game. The way that the microfigures sit in the back of the vehicles (especially the AT-AT) is a really good, and cute, idea. I'd love to see other Star Wars Games, doing lots of vehicles/ships in that style. I have a feeling it will be really expensive, though.
  2. This is a very nice build, BeerBeard. I really like the tentacles, they look very impressive. I could stare at this for hours, with all of the details and shiny treasure you included.
  3. Why didn't I think of that? You're right, it's either Fang-Suei or Snappa.
  4. I just have the same pictures as everyone else, so I'm not sure. I can just make out a little bit, it could be the same as the one in Kai's Bike. Also, I've just realized we haven't seen anything about the Green Ninja yet (apart from on the boxes). It can't be Nya or Kai, as they're both still there.
  5. That actually very interesting, I can see it in the smaller picture of the Research Station box, too. I wonder...
  6. It's funny 'cause it's true!
  7. Very nice Castle figures, it reminds me of me! But seriously, very clever and innovative use of parts. Especially ones from different themes. The use of the Wolfpack shield with the werewolf head is genius. I really like them all, well done.
  8. I've zoomed in on the pic's, they both seem to be driven by a red snake. So, according to the spinners, it should be either Fang-Suei or Snappa.
  9. Ah-ha, found the police and vehicle pictures. Saved. I'm not usually a City fan, but this theme might find it's way into my collection... There does seem to an increase in female figures, which is good news. The Police theme is pretty much how I imagined it. The cops look good, and I can see that some have plain white bodies as placeholders, while other have completed ones. That should mean some variation in torsos. The bear is great, the slight change in police colour scheme is refreshing, the criminal vehicles are well-executed, and the Police Station looks very rustic. The Station does seem a bit small, though. I'll have to see the interior before I really like it. The helicopter looks like a bit of an afterthought, too. 2012 is going to be an expensive year...
  10. Yeah, the announcement that the dinosaurs would be molded surprised me. With all of the (great looking) brick-built creatures in Pharaoh's Quest, Ninjago and Atlantis, I wish they had stuck with that. They don't look that bad though, much better than Dino 2010/Attack.
  11. I've also found them somewhere else. Immediately saved them. I'm not going to post a link, because I'm paranoid that Lego will shut it down if I do.
  12. Well, I've been saying 'any day now' for many weeks, but now that the day has finally arrived... I'm really not sure what to think. I really like the minifigures, though. The spinners are great, I might just have to buy some. The sets themselves, not so much. I can safely say I won't be buying any of the vehicles... Ah, what am I saying? The vehicles, as much as I want to hate them, are bizarrely appealing. Kai's bike/jetpack, Zane's snowmobile, Jay's jet, Cole's Batmobile. I'm really having conflicted opinions. One second I think they're awesome, the next I hate them and vice-versa. I think this theme may be so insane that it's messing with my head. I really don't know what to think. One thing I am sure on, is the minifig's are outstanding. They really look outstanding.
  13. Hmm... It seems the pic's are gone now. Well, I got a good look at them, but I just wasn't quick enough to save. Anyway, when I first saw them, I was very disapointed. But, the more I looked at them, the more I realised how good they were. What I first thought were futuristic guns = Tranquilisers. Very clever, great move by Lego. What I first thought were ugly, Dino 2010-esque dino's = Actually pretty nice. Molded, but still 'blocky' enough to look like Lego. I originally thought I would completly skip this theme, but I actually really like them now. Although, that looks nothing like a Coelophysis.
  14. I'm slightly hesitant to completely believe this, but we've just got some pic's in the Ninjago Topic. So their probably true. I really don't know what to think. I'm a bit busy now, so I'll post my opinion later. Hopefully we'll have some pics by then... Sorry for the double post, but it looks like I won't have to wait for pictures, this just appeared in the City topic: Click Here EDIT: Weird, my 2 posts got merged together. And Vertea just beat me to the pics.
  15. Ooh, we better enjoy these before Lego takes them down. They're being especially hard on leaks this year. That spinner picture looks awesome! Those ninja suits, those weapons! I'm not too keen on the Snakeman's head, but I'm sure they'll all be different. I can also see the names are Fang Suei and Kai ZX. So that's two down. Thanks very much for these, Kris Kelvin.
  16. Well done, it looks very clean and official. As a purist myself, I really like the way that you've made them. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of the individual figures.
  17. I can't believe no-one's made Cthulhu before. I was expecting it too be a cartoon-ized version: But it actually looks pretty awesome. Looking forward to seeing more pictures, that teaser looks interesting.
  18. Great ones, Oky. I've got some ideas which I have photographed, I'll try and post them soon.
  19. `It does look a little thin, but it's not really meant to be a heavy-duty weapon. Just a 'stun stick' to keep people under control. I might see if I can find any other parts that would work better, though. Thanks for the feedback.
  20. I suppose, I just think her looks and voice were especially good in Arkham Asylum. As for the DC reboot, I don't really care. Like I said before, I try not to follow any particular canonity. And it really depends which 'world'. Also, I've only recetly started watching BTAS (I've got 2 4-disk volumes on DVD). I really like it so far, I've just watched the episode Joker's Favor ( ). I think that they've been getting much more serious/darker/better as the series goes on, and in Feat of Clay , Batman was actually pretty scary! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smhJzu_a5rM
  21. Ooh, very interesting. Although I usually prefer having brick-built backgrounds for Lego, I still think they all look great. Good to see people getting into the spirit of Underwater Month.
  22. Thanks for this information, Mirandir. I'm very interested to see what the vehicles are like. And the Snakemen have molded heads and printed minifigure heads? Just like the skeletons, I suppose. Lego seems to be being especially tough on leaked pictures this year, so it could still be some time until we see anything.
  23. Hmm... For the Riddler, the Frank Gorshin version is my favourite, he was perfect. But I do agree with Penguin that it depends what 'World'. Im my opinion, Batman: Arkham Asylum (video game) had some of the best versions of certain villians. The Scarecrow was great in it, and his scenes were really well executed. Poison Ivy and Killer Croc are also up there with my favourite versions. I also really like the Joker from the Nolan films, he worked really well in a realistic world were lots of villians would not.
  24. Well obviously Leia feels weird, she's got no arms!
  25. A Mongolian-based theme would be awesome! I'd love to see a colder theme (in snowy mountains etc.).
