What do you mean by 'the first movie'? If you mean Batman Begins, then Arkham Asylum did appear: I think you would be able to make that quite well in mini-scale. It's a shame you havent played the game, that version of Arkham had some very nice architecture. But, in any case, I'm sure this will still be great. I'm loving it so far.

I think the new Falcon Knight in the joust set ( ) may hint towards more waves, with new villians (like the trolls in the Fantasy theme). I do agree with everyone who says they'd be disappointied if Castle is replaced by a licensed theme. It would be a real tragedy to lose such an original, important theme with so much potential.

It's Underwater Action Themes Month!
LandShark replied to Hinckley's topic in Forum Information and Help
Well, now that it's October, is Underwater month over? It's definitely been fun. -
I suppose... I still that there's not much they could do with buildings (they'd probably just be small/facades anyway). I also forgot that Captain America could have a small 'Motercycle Battle' set. Iron Man could maybe have that Formula 1 scene, from the start of Iron Man 2. Once we have pictures, we'll have answers. And that time shouldn't be too far away...

The buildings look great, just the kind of thing you could see in Gotham. I was hoping you would do a monorail track, very clever how you built it. As much as I would have liked to see a large-scale Gotham, I think the mini-scale is works well. Are you planning on making an Arkham Asylum?

I definitely wasn't expecting that response. It's just a sticker and a door hanger. Yes, it was the UK Lego shop. The gifts weren't acknowledged in the order form, so I'm just assuming it was due to Fangz. Anyway, here's some pictures. There a bit blurry, but I had to do them quickly, and without my cousin seeing. Back view of sticker/alternate side of door hanger:

I feel very out of place here in the Action Figure forum. But I thought I should mention something. I recently ordered Fangz from the Lego Website, and with it came a free Hero Factory: The TV Series door hanger, and a Rocka 3.0 sticker. I gave them both to my younger cousin, whose a much bigger Hero Factory fan than I am. Just thought I'd say it here, in case anyone's interested.

Very nice homes for your Ewoks. You managed to make them look very natural and Ewok-y.

This looks like it could be really great, from what you've shown so far. Also, I hope we'll see some Arkham City creations in this forum with the release of the game soon. Looking forward to more pictures.

Is it a Compsognathus, or just a baby raptor? Personally, I think the base set is pretty good. It would have been great if it came with a baseplate, but that isn't really Lego's style anymore. I'm pretty happy with the assortment of dinosaurs, and I'm happy to not see any of those new 'brick' pieces, I hate those. Overall, I probably won't get it because of the price, but I would be very pleased if I got it as a present. Also, the buildings in the background make me very curious as to what the story is...

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion

Tell me about it: -
I would welcome any Batman minifigure with open arms, especially since there is so many different versions of each character. Otherwise, I think some classic superheroes would work the best. Since most of them had fairly simple outfits, and are both child-friendly and nostalgic for adults. The Flash and Aquaman spring to mind. I do find myself wondering how Lego will make sets for any of these superheroes (except Batman + X-men), they don't really have vehicles. I think individual minifigures is the best way to go. The original announcement did say (Action Figures, Construction Sets and Minifigures'. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess.

This is a very interesting topic, I always wondered about some member's names. Now it's my turn to elaborate. Despite what you may think, I did not choose LandShark because of the Saturday Night Live character. I've never even watched the show. There just seemed to be lots of things that pulled me towards this name. There's a Transformer called Landshark (previously my avatar, and soon will be again after Underwater month finishes). Landsharks was also an early name for the Tremors movie series (which I love ). Also, when I first got the Atlantis Shark-Man, I immediately made it wear a vest (with gray arms, of course) and jeans, and called it Land-Shark. I don't know why I did that, it just seemed natural.

Lego Adventurers Tabletops

Good to see my comment went to good use. I'm glad you're continuing this, I think it's a great idea. I especially like the Roman Ruins one, the 'small part of a scene' style works really well there, it looks like you've taken it out of a much bigger build. Can't wait to see what you do next. -
Well, there was: But they're all true, it's a great waterfall.

Very nice MOC, it definitely deserved to be frontpaged. You managed to put lots of nice details into it, without it looking too crammed. I really like the rocks in the river, and it's always nice to see a more social side of a Castle Faction.

I've never bought an individual mis-print part, and never will. The thing I like about mis-prints is the uniqueness and rarity of them, and when you get one, you know you are one of few who has it. Those shields look really good, 'andhe'. Good to see this topic back in action.

Underwater Month Avatar Contest Winners
LandShark replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I would definitely like one, if that's OK. It'll be a good reminder of this fun month. Congratulations to the winners, you deserved it. -
The dinosaur in the smallest set is meant to be a Coelophysis, apparently. The brown, currently-unprinted dinosaur in the Big Base set looks like the same mold as the Raptor. I can't wait for better pictures.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
LandShark replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Do we have a confirmed premiere date for series 4 in the UK? I still haven't seen any advertisements for it. -
We in the UK have just got to the episode 'Sick Mind', where Bumblebee goes inside Megatron's mind. But now there showing it from Episode 1 (of the mini-series) all over again! I'm going to have to wait for all of them to rerun before we continue the series. I also can't wait for the toys to be released. I was never a big fan of the Bay-movie toys, I just think the Tranformers in the movies are too detailed to work well in toy form. But the Prime toys should be pretty good.
-
I'm afraid I failed at that, I was on that site for ages after making that post! It was actually very interesting reading up on some of my old (and new) Transformer toys.
-
Well, there's This one and This one. The latter is funnier, and has better information on the toys, in my opinion, but it has very little on Prime. Which of them do you mean? EDIT: It's the first one that has the voice actors, thanks.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
LandShark replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm pretty sure that it'll be sometime around January 2012. Also, SilentMode, you're making an army of Female Skateboarders, but putting the Legionnaire's in the reject section?
