  1. This thread is worth reviving. I've got some new ideas, how do you say: CUUSOO WIP Decal?
  2. Ah, thanks for that. I'll just have to be more vigilant next time.
  3. Once again you've lived up to your name, and also made another great scene that I wish Lego had made. While the scale is not completely accurate, I don't think any other scale would really work. The choice of colours is very good, too, and the Staff of Ra looks really nice.
  4. Great work on all of these, Masked. That last shot would look awesome in 3D. Looking forward to the next part.
  5. Sad news, but I guess it means I'll be spending less money, so I can concentrate more on the Joust.
  6. Damn, I can't believe I missed the Mafia School sigh-ups. I had no idea how the Mafia games worked, but I've learned a lot just by reading it. Are Mafia Schools a regular thing, or will it be a long time before the next one? I need to pay more attention to this sub-forum.
  7. I can see the boar on the shield, but I think it's more likely to be a dragon. Either way, I still want the figure.
  8. Not a sale as such, but the Lego Website has had a major revamp. I have to say, it's pretty great. The price/piece bars at the side are very useful.
  9. Oh yeah, I hadn't noticed that. Thanks for pointing it out. Police? Looks more like the criminals hideout to me. But I do like the ripped dungarees on the minifigure on the roof.
  10. Welcome. Just one question, how do you pronounce your name? Assuming it's your real name, it's a Gaelic one I think. Pronounced something like Neev?
  11. Usually I'm always looking out for stuff to add to my Kingdom, but this theme just didn't register as a possibility. I hadn't thought of using the Dinosaurs as mounts, but now I might have a proper excuse for buying some of these sets. Huzzah. As for the strangely-heated feather argument, I would actually prefer if they had some kind of plumage. I know they're more menacing and mainstream this way, but I'm sure Lego could make a good accurate Dinosaur. I just hope the upcoming Jurassic Park reboot/sequel will show them with feathers, and over time, scientifically-accurate Dinosaurs will be the mainstream image.
  12. I'm not usually a City fan, but I have to say, this is the best wave in a long time. The vehicle designs are great, a big step up from previous waves. The sub-themes themselves are good, original ideas, and the minifigures are very good. The minifigures have beautiful printing, without being overly-detailed. 4208 (Fire Truck) has a very classic look to it, and 4427 (Fire ATV) looks like a cheap way to get a good figure and a nice vehicle. The criminal's vehicles are very nice, too. They would go well with the Pharaoh's Quest vehicles, what with the dark red colour scheme. Overall, I really like this wave. I don't know how many of them I'll actually get, but I still applaud Lego for such a big improvement in the theme.
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks, it seems we've been getting a lot of Russian members recently. Hmm... registered immediately? I was reading the site for about a year before I registered.
  14. Nightwing looks pretty good, and I'm glad he's a 'challenge only' character. The challenge maps and extra skin sound pretty good, so I might get it (once I finally get a PS3 account, it's still not working for me ).
  15. I count 5 (the Rabbit-suit looks male to me, no eyelashes). I'm pretty sure the 'nerd' is holding a silver/grey laptop, although it could be a book, but that seems unlikely judging by the computery-ness of the mug. EDIT: Whoops, that comment was on the second most recent page, I thought I was the first to answer.
  16. Very nice and simple. The display stand is pretty great, too. Is it made using only 'legal' techniques? Just wondering.
  17. Great work. I'm not usually a poetry guy, but this is the one poem which I really like. And I think you've recreated it very well.
  18. While I would like to see older factions being more established, and I would love to have lots of big factions, with lots of sets, instead of new ones being introduced every year, I don't think it's possible just have fully-classic factions return. They would have to be updated, with all-new sets and designs. But I would really like to see that happen, and we might just get it with the Falcon Knight in the Joust. Another thing is more generic factions, like Forestmen and Bandits (or even Fright Knights). They don't have to be based on older ones, but the whole idea of them would be like a homage, and I'm sure Castle fans would welcome them with open arms.
  19. Yeah, I definitely noticed an increase. They even had Star Wars advent calenders and battlepacks, and a whole shelf of City stuff (including advent calenders). I originally thought it might be due to lack of competition, since the local ToyMasters just closed, and there's virtually no other toy shops. But what you say makes it sound like a company-wide thing. Either way, I'm not complaining.
  20. The Bandit looks so much better in these HD pictures. Also, I really like the Lego skeleton in the surgeons x-ray, although I still can't tell if the figure itself is male or female. And, after years of nothing, Scotland is finally getting 2 figures in a row: The Highlander in this series, and the Bagpiper in the next.
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks. There are lots of other Russian Members on this site, so I'm sure some of them would be happy to help you, if you needed it.
  22. Okay, opinion time. This is a great series. Especially for a Castle fan like myself: Red Riding Hood and Black Knight will be easy to integrate into my Kingdom. I'll try to get a few Aztecs, and make them some kind of tribe. The 'Tarzan' would make a perfect Barbarian, and my Vikings have needed a female for a long time. The rest are great, too. I know lots of people who would love a bagpiper. Overall, an amazing series. Not a single one I don't want, and many I want multiples of.
  23. Oh. It does list the set 9579 Starter Kit, but it has no information.
  24. No problem, if I didn't do it. someone else would have. There is the 'Training Set': I don't know if that's what you mean. EDIT: I'm assuming it's safe to deeplink the pictures, but I've put it in a spoiler just in case.
