I'm definitely looking forward to seeing some sets based on the Nolan Films. Now I just need some Arkham Asylum/City sets and I'll be in bat-heaven. Also, just for the record, I really like Two-Face's colours. I don't find it weird at all, I think it looks really nice. It's not as if Lego is completely making it up: I just wish he came with that two-coloured hat.
-
Of course. I should have it up soon, I just need to take/upload the pictures.
-
Great idea. I like the colours you used, and the whole thing looks really nice overall.

I've completed my Catagory 2 entry, but I'm not sure whether to post it yet. I could wait, to see I find anyway to improve it. But I have a feeling lots of other people will do an entry like this, and I don't want to seem like I'm copying people.

I doubt it would be, it would go against the format of every other Lego game. It would also be hard to get an Arkham Asylum type game, but still make it 2-player. I think it will have an original story again, although I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

Like I said in the early days of this thread, I don't think it will be Cole. While green does fit in with the earth-elemental-thing, I don't know if Lego would go without an iconic 'Black Ninja'. It could be Kai, though. He was on the boxart of the 2011 sets, and seems to be the 'main character'. Also, Nya could take his place as the Red Ninja. But that seems a little complicated. It's probably Nya then, in the summer wave.

This is nearly completely made from my favourite Lego brick colours, a pleasure to look at.

Thanks. I do have it on display next to the Crown Knights Castle, which makes it looks a bit more impressive. It does look a little weird, but it doesn't look or fit quite right the other way. Thanks for the comment. EDIT: Just updated the first post with a link to more pictures.

Firstly, I know this is very simple. Very little of this is completely my own design. Some of it's from the Advent Calenders, the catapult wall is from a Pirates set etc. . But, this was just a quick build, putting lots of stuff together in one place. An overview of the Training Area. The archery zone. The Archers-in-training. The catapult zone, with a young knight loading it up. The horseriding/jousting zone, featuring the Lead General. The weapons stash, were a supervisor can show a young knight his way around the weaponry of the kingdom. The small blacksmiths, where young knights can see how weapons are made, and it also supplies the weapon store with fresh 'produce'. Comments and criticism welcome, but remember that is was meant to be simple. Also, expect my future MOC's to be a lot more... advanced. See more pictures on my Brickshelf, HERE.

REVIEW: 6497-1 Twisted Time Train
LandShark replied to Bricknave's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Finally, a Time Cruiser's review. This was a very strange theme, but it had some great pieces. I wouldn't mind getting some of the sets, but I doubt I would keep them assembled. Thanks for the review. -
I'm definitely looking forward to this, I really liked the first game, and this should be even better. But I was hoping they would make a Lego Batman: Arkham Asylum/City. That would be great.

Wow, those top prizes are amazing. It will be hard for me, since I'm a bit low on bricks, and own no Batman sets. But, by Bob Kane, I will try. Thanks to both WhiteFang and Penguin for running this contest, and I'm sure we'll see lots of great entries. EDIT: I've just had a good idea. I've got to get started on it before anyone else does.

I completely agree, they just look... wrong. I've already expressed my dislike in the Ninjago topic.

I can't believe I haven't commented on this yet. Usually, Lego and Transformers don't mix, just look at BTR and Kre-O (although I have to admit, Kre-ons are pretty cute ). As a big fan of Lego/Transformers, this annoys me. But this, in all honesty, is quite possibly my favourite MOC of all time. The robot mode looks great and cartoon-accurate, but the fact that it transforms so well is simply spectacular. Even actual Transformer toys sometimes struggle to look good in both forms, but this does. The trailer, weapons, the Matrix of Leadership, Roller! Very, very good work. I really hope you do some more G1 characters in the future. EDIT: I can't think of any better way to spend my 400th post!

Very nice and official looking. The square on the body looks a bit off-center, but it could just be because the head is turned to the side.

Sneaky Gorilla. The walls look great, and all of the little details really add to the scene. Very good job.

Congratulations to the well-deserving winners. I've really enjoyed this month, thanks to everyone who made it happen. -
LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion
LandShark replied to whung's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm guessing it's because the highlander would be more used for battle-ing, so his legs would need to be more moveable. I personally like the printed kilt more. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
LandShark replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I've just realised, the new logo for Lego Exclusives has the pyjama kid's hairpiece: -
Very good review, Rufus. I'm not usually interested in Creator, but this set seems pretty well designed, I quite like it.
-
Usually I say Coo-soo, but quickly. As for WIP, normally 'Work in Progress', but sometimes 'Whip'. I'm not sure about Decal, which is why I asked. Day-kal, Deh-kal, Dekkle?
-
Looks good, how poseable is it? And I don't see any problems with you're English, so I wouldn't worry about it.
-
Wow, I thought you would just edit in the Bat-signal, but how you made it was very clever. The whole thing looks really good, and the wet-ness makes it seem like the 'real' Gotham.
-
Thanks, now I just need to get an old shark body.

I've been wondering about the back-story for a while. The buildings in the background intrigue me... It hasn't directly called the Pteranodons dinosaurs, yet. As for the accuracy, I've given my opinions, and I don't think it's that inaccurate. I probably wont even use them for dinosaurs, anyway.
