  3. Thanks, @Stuartn and @Peppermint_M, for answering. Oddly clicking on the time link only worked some of the time ??? (and yet I checked it against the URL you're sent in the notifications that definitely works (but that you logically don't usually have) and am not seeing a difference in format). Often as not it was taking me to the top of the page. Odder yet, the share link the icon offers has a different format. excerpt from the time link: 149997-help/&page=46&tab=comments#comment-3451439; mixed results from the notification: 149997-help/&page=46&tab=comments#comment-3451439; always works looks the same to me. from the share icon: 149997-help/&do=findComment&comment=3451439; seems to work Eh. Mine is not to reason why... Again, appreciate the help.
  4. Thanks! I thought I'd seen it mentioned somewhere, but couldn't recall the source of that bit of info and couldn't find it again either, which left me unsure. I'd love to see a Bell Towers that allows us to recreate that scene with Buckbeak. I don't really have a scene that I associate with them except something like micmac's BoH MOC, but I also don't have an architectural sense of where the Tower Sirius is held in belongs, so this would be the perfect meeting of issues: a tower without a purpose, a scene without a home... And then they could include Fang with a Forbidden Forest set, or Hagrid's Hut. (The latter is sadly more likely. Pity as the former would be a day one purchase for me.) @drewdotexe you might want to check the ebay prices of things like the accessory packs or the exclusive / rare sets. Any set that typically goes for at least as much on ebay as it does at the S@H will help you meet the GWP threshold, if you're willing to faff about with the selling and posting that is. @Legoman123 I think "market saturation" and "diminishing returns" help explain it. If you look at the older runs of HP, the series always reinvented itself in short intervals to find new purchasers, and tbf, the less well known sets are almost definitely a more difficult sell than the obvious ones. Does a child say: I want that set I know, or that building I can't even name? The Great Hall (and Clock Tower), Hagrid's Hut, the Knight Bus, the Ford Anglia, the Express, Quidditch, these are things they make over and over again and in 20 years they've never completed the castle in favour of re-treading the same material. Even the nanoscale version requires you to look at fan MOCs for plans to complete the build. Evidently those known elements are the more profitable approach.
  5. Well this is good news. Any idea if it will in the modular 2021 format?

  7. Is it possible to link to a specific comment within a thread, or only the main threads / or pages? TIA.

  15. A list (with links) of all the Harry Potter lego content that's been active on eurobricks within the last two years. Premise: there's a lot of Harry Potter content strewn about the "licensed themes" forum, but too much of it goes unseen by too many who'd probably be interested in the material. Far from everyone uses tags on their posts, those tags aren't normed, and many of the titles of the posts don't necessarily lead to them being found in your typical forum search for HP material. Further premises: we'd have even more material here if there were more "reward" (positive feedback) for posting here; too often those posts languish, largely uncommented, and there's no system for otherwise liking or upvoting the contribution, which in combination can be demoralising. We'd also have happier users if they had an easier time finding the content they like. It sounds almost like a match made in heaven... What I'm trying to do about that... Well, in the absence of subforums, I'm attempting to create a somewhat sorted and curated list of the HP content. I've worked my way through over an eighth of the forum scouring for HP material, indexing whatever was last commented on within the past two years, and I think I got most of what was there. (If I missed something, please let me know. If this is an acceptable format (fingers crossed it's allowed as it was a *lot* of work... lol), I'll eventually work my way through the rest and then start tidying this entry. (The quality of the curation will improve as I add more content to link to.) Ideally I'll also add a listing of the MOCs from the MOC Megapost, otherwise folks like our @Micmac and a few others will go seriously underrepresented, which won't do at all. 16. Great job with the DA extension. I really like these. (I'm generally not a fan of the lilac, so that's definitely an accomplishment. I think what it is is you've put in enough detail that I focus on it first instead of the colour choice the way I do with that giant pink expanse in the official QQS in DA.) I like the earthenware containers in front of the Apothecary, you've captured them well.
  17. That first picture is just... *chef's kiss* I really like the mechanism to open or close the build, and add or remove the stairs / entrance. Makes it more "playable". Nice work.
  18. Great job with this! I especially like the icee/slurpee and the cotton candy machines. (And the way you redefined "rock candy"... ) The interior is so well done.
  19. Hey, what are we calling the Hermione and Harry figs from 76393? "Maxifigs"? I was looking to see if anyone has MOCced some different hairstyles, like the Princess Leia MOC here on EB, and it helps to know the proper terms. (I was hoping to build Ron/ Snape/ Tonks (and Pettigrew) hair, and the Harry "wig" is probably my second least favourite Harry hair, so some modding there wouldn't go amiss either...)
