  1. What is the length of the CV joint? Are male plus the non-axle female part 3L or 3.5L? I don't own this part yet and bricklink does not list the size for these parts. I'm thinking on replacing the in-line meshing between the differential and the bevel gear by using either the new 3L differential of the Top Gear car or the old 4L differential fight with the 15 studs limit. Thanks!
  2. After your Beetle, I expected one Mini Cooper when reading mini XXXX However, you definitively need all-wheel steering!
  3. I have the feeling that all the new members from Russia are no noobs at all. Thanks for sharing your creations!
  4. I think truck-like vehicles are not allowed for this contest. The moc gives me a Saint-Tropez beach vipe! It needs a fold-able windscreen and the technic-dude with sunglasses. If I would drive around in this car I would smile all time and my eye-browns would not look as grumpy as the ones of this guy!
  5. Great idea and awesome looking model! But the central differential indicates that there are more features.
  6. Looks promising! Maybe it is because of the missing bodywork but the wheelbase looks a bit short to go 400 km/h down the Mulsanne Straight at Le Mans.
  7. Do not forget that with Lego I also replicate the originals material: Plastic! Once I asked my dad why the Wartburg has a trunk handle: To grab it firmly and throw it to the garbage
  8. Thanks for all the feedback and I'm happy to bring back good memories to some people. I wish I could build one in dark azure with a yellow door to make it really the Trabi of my family . However, the Trabant's engineers could also not just bricklink missing pieces and so do I.
  9. Awesome idea with the flex hoses!
  10. Sorry, I got you wrong. I was referring to the new differential and a 20 tooth bevel or double bevel gear. I have a picture of my (probably illegal) solution in my TC18 WIP
  11. Hi, TC18 is a great contest and made me register at Eurobricks. Thanks Jim! I aim to build a Trabant 601 (wiki) Like the original it features front wheel drive, a two cylinder engine, and a horizontally placed gear stick close to the steering wheel. The front mounted engine provides plenty of interior space. The wheelhub design is taken from @sirslayer
  12. On my phone it appears also squeezed but correct on PC.
  13. This transfer works with the 16 tooth gear. I used it for my TC18 WIP (need to upload some pictures). However, my solution requires some play and flex because it does not seem to fit easily in the Lego geometry. First post here :)
