[ESL - Troops] Salida Este raises colonial militia
NOD replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
The terrain looks really good. It's good that you photographed it without soldiers so that we can see the street.- 4 replies

Nice scenario, Oleon seems to be moving a lot of soldiers to Terre Versée. The effort to build a defense build for Kings Port doesn't seem to be worth it.
-
Well built transport sloop. The shape of the ship, masts and sails are all done very nicely.

[BTV1-TER] Donations for the War Effort
NOD replied to Mesabi's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
defence strategy for Kings Port: Operation Hedgehog @Bregir I ask for a friend. This one has a "special, and in this epoch realistic" defence strategy for Kings Port. The strategy is detailed and goes beyond bottle bombs. It is more extraordinary, stronger and more effective. He can explain the defence strategy but not build everything. Does the build have to be identical to the complete strategy? Is a relatively simple build and the explanation of the defence strategy enough? He also made improvements to Troop rules and land combat. Not everything he writes is stupid. Some things could be considered and discussed. I do not know the friend! I only ask because I lost a bet. -
[BTV1-TER] Donations for the War Effort
NOD replied to Mesabi's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
It's simple but effective. The approaching enemy is shot at through narrow openings. In addition, bottle bombs are thrown. I would suggest it also as a defense build for Kings Port: Location: Westface and Kings Port Terraversa It was just a suggestion. I don't decide on someone else's build. It's more of a Council of War. @Mesabi What do you think? -
[OL -- FB2] Breshaun - Beauchamp Shipyard
NOD replied to CapOnBOBS's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
That looks really good. I especially like the two-story building with the balcony. The double crane and the frame with building materials are also well built. Everything is really very well built. It's one of the best shipyards I've seen so far. I would have liked to see higher resolution photos on Flickr. -
Happy atmosphere in the fest tent. Good idea to use the sail from the Armada Flagship as a tent roof.

Nice Oktoberfest beer garden. You met the Oktoberfest flair well. The blue and white pattern fits perfectly with Bavaria. I like the many details.

Super special effects with the smoke, sparks at the ignition lock of the musket and the muzzle flash. I like the building too. Especially from the inside, I like the beams that support the second floor.

[GOC-FB-COR] The Quinnsville University Library
NOD replied to Mesabi's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice library I like the construction. The floor inside the building looks nice and is a good idea because you can put the minifigures on it. I would build the balusters on the second floor a little higher. If someone stumbles, they'll fall down.- 12 replies

[ESL] Post Master's House and Office, Otoño
NOD replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Beautiful house in an autumn landscape. The half-timbering house, the colored leaves of the trees and bushes, the landscape that is covered by the falling leaves. Everything is beautiful! -

Artisan: Large Property, Punto Sur DSC08570 by Philippe, auf Flickr An attraction and for the first time at Oktoberfest 2020 in the new colony on Punto Sur: Bumper Boats A real Oktoberfest also includes amusement rides. People want fun and games so that they are happy. The original plans for the bumper boats come from Munik, the hometown of the Oktoberfest. It is the Babarian state capital of Tschörmany. The Sea Rats found the plans on a ship. DSC08542 by Philippe, auf Flickr The funny little boats are driven forwards and backwards by 2 paddle wheels under the boat. They are driven by pedals with leg power. The direction of travel can be determined by shifting your body weight to the left or right. The aim is to ram the other boats. DSC08559 by Philippe, auf Flickr The boats are made from the wood of the Ficus elastica tree. As the name suggests, the boats are therefore elastic. The wood cushions the impact. I make the world as I like it. DSC08549 by Philippe, auf Flickr Fun for everyone! All are welcome. DSC08560 by Philippe, auf Flickr DSC08564 by Philippe, auf Flickr DSC08592 by Philippe, auf Flickr This house is the kitchen and on the roof is the VIP area. But nobody cares. The drunk people go in and out as they please. [BTV1-OL] The bridge on the King's River
NOD replied to Keymonus's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Good guide to building bridges. Based on your photos, even I could build this bridge if I had the bricks. I think it's good that the city was not bombarded with artillery. So, the civilian population could be spared. Your story is as detailed as the script for a film.- 15 replies

Thanks for the compliments and constructive criticism. I really have to work on making my builds dirtier and therefore more realistic. Some rocks and stones would fit very nicely. I have already ordered suitable bricks.

The 2 hours slowing advancing were worth it, they captured many rifles, gunpowder and swords. I like how you photographed and told the story at dusk. I am always happy when there are photos in higher resolution on Flickr.

Thank you Now that you say it, I see it too. It looks a little strange.

[OKT-COR] Free Beer from the Seawolf Shipping Company
NOD replied to Brickwolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I like that. Nice house and a boat full of beer. I like the minifigures especially the mermaid and Captain Hook. -
Thanks, it's fun building plantations. First, I increase the trade value. Then I build what is necessary so that Tortuga moves up to the next level City. Thank you, The settlement is Tortuga. You are doing an excellent job presenting Tortuga. Everything is described perfectly. You even made a map of properties outside the city. I really like everything very much. I am impressed.

Plantation: Large DSC08270 by Philippe, auf Flickr Tobacco grows on this plantation. This is further processed as a cigar and mainly exported to the old world. DSC08244 by Philippe, auf Flickr It can also be smoked in the pipe or used as a square chewing tobacco or snuff. The dentist looks forward to seeing you, especially if you use chewing tobacco. Good tactic to sneak into the city through the ruined walls and eliminate key individuals. The guerrilla tactic is very effective against a superior enemy.

[BTV1-TER] Raising the Westface Militia
NOD replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Good story and, as always, an excellent build. I am glad that you are helping poor little Terraversa. It's much more interesting to support the underdog. -
@Capt Wolf I have an idea for Oktoberfest. I would like to build these and license them myself. I am a Sea Rats but Punto Sur belong to Eslandola. It can happen that by accident one or more Eslandola ship sinks, or something else happened.. Will my property be seize? Is there a guarantee it won't happen? Property: If you build legally on another faction’s territory the government of the other faction is also able to seize your property (except in the case of forts, in which case a military engagement will have to be fought).

[SR-Troop] The Black Wolf goes to Bastion
NOD replied to Corweena's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I think it's good that the Sea Rats also have a disciplined military unit with the Black Wolf Company. I also use the muskets with my pirates because they are really well made and look authentic. The flintlock pistols from the same manufacturer are also very well made.
