  1. *Fwom fwom— —the megablucks you talking about? In my memory, I've voted for four people this whole game. In what world have I thrown votes all over the place? On Day One, I voted for Andrew and Justin. On Day Two I voted for Joshua. On Day Three I voted for Justin and Alex. While I'm thinking about it, Fred, if you were coordinating with the two other claimed blockers, why would you need to tell me your block? Would both claimed blockers possibly be scum? Can the other person you sent your block information to confirm that? *Fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom*
  2. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom* I'm going to lay this out here now. Somebody roleclaimed to me last night and admitted they targeted Jean on Night Two. I found something very odd about this claim, but I'll reveal that later. Daniel, this person said they were going to send you the same information. Did you receive such a message? *Fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom, fwom fwom fwomma fwooooom fwoooom* Bus comes, bus goes, she stay, love grows.
  3. *Fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom* Fred told me who he was blocking. He told me he'd be messaging "another random person" as well with his target. *Fwom fwomma fwomma fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom*
  4. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom* Well, Daniel didn't wait. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwomma fwomma fwomma fwom fwom*
  5. *fwom fwom fwom fwom* Well, now the cat's out of the bag. *Fwomma fwom fwomma fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom* Little boy blue and the man in the moon...
  6. I think they're waiting to hear from the target. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom*
  7. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom* Imma come right out and say I think Fabien and Robin are a scum team. I think Robin is a JOAT, or possible a limited shot framer. Just ruminating here, but anyway...pardon me while I go through all of Fabien's thoughts while he was thinking it was obvious that Bob had made Alex the only vanilla townie: No mention of it being obvious here. Nope, no mention here. Just concentrating on one of the claimed blockers possibly being scum. No rationale about Alex's claim in his reasoning for voting for Justin all day. Did he mention Emmett again after this? Fabien, do you still agree with Daniel about Emmett or are you just trying to stoke the Daniel flames towards his choice of scrutiny yesterday? It's been proven that he digs into his suspicion and posts walls of texts at people he finds suspicious, often arguing all day. I'll call this potential strategy "suspicion tinder." From Justin's analysis, no claim from Fabien. Interesting again. If other vanilla players weren't backing up Alex's claim, making it obvious to Fabien that Bob made one vanilla player, then Fabien does something at night. Emphasis added. Doesn't look like he thinks it's obvious. And this is the meat in a "Don't claim in public" sandwich. That's a good cover for someone who doesn't want to even claim having a role. More justification of voting for Justin, without any reference to the belief or not in Alex's vanilla claim. It's the "like Robin" that gets me here. Without knowing any specific details about it, Fabien seems to believe Robin's claim. So does Robin have a limited number of shots, like he's a Renaissance Man, or a guy who does a bunch of stuff, or a jack-of-all-trades? This is him defending the idea that the scum might stay home to confuse us over who was blocked, therefore who might the killer be. Oh, the WIFOM considering we didn't see a kill last night. What he leaves out of his analysis is his belief that Robin can protect someone. Wouldn't it also confuse us that the protected target might've been targeted? If Robin has limited shots, doesn't it stand to reason we have a protector out there in addition to him? We used to refer to this as Scum Perspective. Scum is only in control of a block (supposedly), not a protection (also supposedly), so the thought process around the scum confusing the town about who was blocked is not consistent with how a townie would see such a situation. Several people blocked, possibly several people protected. These are all pings. I have no concrete evidence against Fabien. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom, fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom, fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom* whiskey bottles piling high!
  8. *Fwom fwom — You thought it was obvious? I also thought it was obvious that nobody claimed vanilla to support him but that didn't give me an indication, either way, as to his affiliation. He could've been telling the truth or he could've been lying. Yes, scum should've been ready with roleclaims, but as we've mentioned, Alex was inactive and admittedly busy so there was the possibility he was scum and missed the coordination or misunderstood, whatever. We know that's not the case, because now we see he was telling the truth, but how would you think that it was obvious unless you already knew he was town? *Fwooooooom fwom fwom fwommma fwom, Fwooooooooooom fwom fwom fwomma fwom* Romeo and Juliet are together in eternity *Fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma*
  9. *Fwom fwom— Who do you figure can only kill on alternate nights? *Fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwooooooooom, fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwoooooooooooom* Lay your weary head to rest!!
  10. *Fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom* What do we think of having three protector claims now? As I pointed out, this still could be role madness. With this many roles you think one of us would've reported being blocked at some point to a blocker that we couldn't trace to one of the three claims. Do we think the scum blocker would be that ineffective? *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom* *three blocker claims.
  11. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom* I thought to look this up, unfortunately, after the day had ended. Role Madness "few to no true vanilla townies," so it can be both. Alex was vanilla and this is still role madness. So, it doesn't tell us much about our three blockers. Aw, thanks. I told you I didn't want to be protected, but that was nice of you. Who were the three people that were blocked last night? And I'll point out that while I was in jail, I was also protected from being killed, so I could be the killer or the target. I'm not the killer and I have no way of knowing if I was the target or not. Speaking of being protected, I PMed Robin and specifically asked him not to protect me. I was curious about the restrictions he mentioned attached to his role. He wouldn't explain them because he doesn't trust me. I find it odd that he would protect me on night two but not trust me on night three. *Fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwommma fwoooooooooooooooom*
  12. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom* Ooops. That's my day tuba volume, sorry. *fwom fwom fwom fwom* We have a rota? The medieval tribunal that performed marriages? Who's getting medievally married? Kinky! *Fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom* *fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwomma*
  13. *Fwom fwom fwomma— Um, hi. I've been making this point for three days now. Perhaps it got lost in the walls of Daniel: There's three examples right there of Daniel defending Justin, blatantly, on day one. There are more, but these were the ones that stuck out. It's a lot to comb through, obviously. Ctrl+F Justin and he comes up 30-40 times a page. This one's fun! He's defending Justin, Andrew and Joshua! *Fwom, fwom fwom fwom, fwom fwom fwom, fwom fwom fwoooooom fwom fwom fwom, fwom fwom fwom, fwom fwom fwom* as an old memoria...
  14. *Fwom fwoooooooooom fwooooom* I'm reminded of the tale from the anals of our history: The Legend of The Ghost Pirate Captain Scubacarrot *thunder crash* *tuba fwoooooooooms* Who's playing my tuba? It wasn't me. The ghost pirate Captain Scubacarrot was disruptive, pushy and stubborn and insulted anyone who disagreed with him and barreled forward as the piratiest of pirates...but in the end...it turned out...he...wa...s... SCUM! *Fwom fwoooooooooooooom fwooooooooooooooom*
  15. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom* Me too. Totally understandable. Just as agitated by this. My initial pings on you have subsided, although I've suggested twice you could be the scum blocker. I don't feel I'm at a point where I feel a strong enough ping to vote for you. The turn of events is fascinating. At least there's plenty of time for us to concentrate on everyone's contributions. Being drunk, I'm not sure I can focus right now, but I'll try. *Fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom*
  16. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom* Serious discussion that needs to happen but may set off a powder keg but if we need to figure this out, this is the time to have it: What if Daniel has been purposely creating chaos and confusion to throw the town off track? Without adding too much of my personal opinion on his behavior to start the conversation, I'd like to leave the question that simple. What do people think? While I'm at it, Emmett, what about Alex makes you confident enough not to switch your vote to him? Also, 15 hours isn't enough to agree on a new target? Frus. tra. ting. *Fwoooooooooooooooooooom Fwooooooooooooooooooooooooom* *fwom fwom fwom* Imma set my hatchet down and really look into this. Justin, you ping the shit out of me, if I'm wrong I apologize. I will re-assess by looking at everyone's behavior, but your assessment here is a perspective I haven't thought of, so I need to open my mind to it. I'm a bit lost on Emmett and Robin's potential lies, though? Can you clarify that? A lot has happened, can you be explicit about these, please? Thanks, in advance. *Fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom forty six & 2.*
  17. ^^ This. Think we can get it back to Justin before the day ends? *Fwom*
  18. *Fwom fwom* If you think Fred is scum and Alex isn't, it makes sense to change your vote. But we're lynching Alex currently. That's odd that you're putting him below the threshold for lynching. Fred's in your pocket, you're coordinating together. If you really believe this we can lynch him tomorrow. Are we trying to work together as a town unit, all of us, or not? Unlyching Alex now is bizarre. Fred has pinged many of us several times. Do you think there's time to switch to Fred? If it's role madness, we had three blockers in Pirates II, are we ready to lynch a blocker claim? *Fwom fwom fwom fwom*
  19. *Fwom fwom— I want you, and everybody, to know that I take this to heart. I'm truly sorry for contributing to the confusion on day one. If you were to slog through the interactions, which I don't recommend because it's truly not worth your time just for this, you would hopefully see I did reach a point where I realized I wasn't defending myself on the basis I thought I was and was really trying, after that point, to help improve the communication. I know that sentence is all sorts of vague and odd, I'm just trying to keep any judgements of Daniel out of it. Yes, I was frustrated and acted out on that quite a few times. I was trying to be productive and I eventually realized it was counter-productive to the overall scum hunt. I hope everyone realizes, and this is on more of a personal level, that I've improved on days two and three to be more concise and contribute less to the confusion that blew day one out of the water as an un-readable day in EB mafia history. That being said, I would take your statement more to heart if I had ever "pounced" on you. Did I respond to anything you said on day one or day two? I will admit that, when looking over the previous days, even I skip my posts on day one or pretty much any time I'm replying to Daniel. It's a lot and it did make it hard to read and still makes it hard to read. However, when I went through each thread the first time, I read everything Daniel had to say, even though I felt annoyed. Almost all. When I realize he's repeating himself, I do skip those. Maybe I have an inflated idea of my contributions on days two and three, but I don't think your assessment reflects reality. I could see you attributing the behavior to both of us continuously if you were just skimming the thread and not wanting to put the energy in because it's not worth it to you if you're not working for the town anyway. I could also see a townie refusing to read anything from me, after day one, yes. But I'm more inclined to believe that anybody fully paying attention and trying to hunt scum, would find more substance in my posts, or Daniel's, than "look he has 120 posts, that's too much." Maybe the scum did try to coordinate role claims via pm, but you just skimmed that too and didn't understand the importance and decided "my roleclaim will be vanilla!" I don't know if you're town or scum, for sure, but you being the only vanilla claim is odd. Your other behavior hasn't put you in the column of "working for the town" so, I'll leave my vote where it is. *Fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom*
  20. *Fwom fwomma fwomma fwom* Unvote: Justin Reynaud Vote: Alex Howe He hasn't really been helpful or even active until we started discussing lynching him. The biggest ping I've gotten from him was this interchange, forgive me for writing a play as opposed to finding the quotes: Alex: Since I know I'm vanilla, we should look more closely at these three blockers. Vincent: If you are vanilla, we will look more closely at the three blockers. I suspect Andrew. Alex: Sounds like you're trying to set up a blocker for a lynch! Um, yeah? That's also what you were suggesting and what any of us would suggest. This sounds like he's playing from duel perspectives; defend himself and implicate a townie, but the reasons contradict each other. I'm still suspicious of Justin. I also want to keep a record of who targeted who because I'm finding it hard to remember since they are mostly blocks, targeting each other. N1 Emmett (tracker) targeted Vincent, result: didn't target anyone Fred (blocker) targeted Peter Lyon, result: unsuccessful Andrew (vanilllaizser) targeted Fred, result: successful Daniel (jailkeeper) targeted Alex, result: successful N2 Emmett (tracker) targeted Daniel, result: targeted Robin Fred (blocker) targeted Andrew, result: successful Andrew (vanilllaizser) targeted Fabien, result: unsuccessful Daniel (jailkeeper) targeted Robin, result: successful Robin (knight???) targeted Vincent, result: unsuccessful Am I correct here? The oddest claim is Robin's. Robin, can you clarify for us what your role does and how often you can use it? You're a knight, what? People who didn't kill on N1: Emmett, Vincent, Fred, Peter, Andrew, Daniel, Alex People who didn't kill on N2: Emmett, Daniel, Fred, Andrew, Daniel, Robin If Daniel publicly claimed blocker, why would the scum not block him? I suppose they ran the risk of being caught by a watcher. Or their blocker contacted him to coordinate. Alex will say I'm "setting up a lynch" of a blocker. I'm not. I'm inviting scrutiny of some of these claims. Alex is right about one thing, even if he is scum, we should still be scrutinizing claims as the rest of the scum would've been prepared for this. Perhaps their coordination was hindered by the no-PM rule. We are also hindered by it as some of us can't be explicit about our roles in public. I find myself in the dangerous territory of only scrutinizing the role claims. I need to go back and look at everyone's behavior to try to get a full picture. *Fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom*
  21. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom* Tentatively label him as possibly Town? Do you have all of those columns cross-referencing? Do you have a tentatively-definitely column? Or a permanently-possibly column? Sounds forced. Robin's not the killer from N2. His other actions don't give him the benefit of tentatively being considered possibly town. OK. Let's think about this some more. You're still the only person who appears to be vanilla. If the other three players who haven't claimed at all are also vanilla, you think just one of them would come to your defense, wouldn't you? Maybe you were really busy before you made your claim and didn't play or pay attention to the last game. Maybe the scum tore you a new one last night for claiming vanilla and now you're finally playing to try to make up for it. A few hours ago I said your posts were making sense, but these points keep getting to me. Maybe you just screwed up. I agree the scum are probably ready with role claims this time, but maybe you somehow missed the memo. You seem a lot smarter and more useful than you did days one and day two which could indicate you were trying to fly under the radar, then whoops! didn't realize this might be role madness. I can't imagine all of the non-claimers are scum. That would be a big scum team. But I'd bet the scum would at least wait to make their claims until they started seeing other claims in-thread to make sure they didn't bump right up against a valid town claim. Safe to claim blocker when you know who's being blocked and there were three town blocking actions in the last game. Lots of maybes, I know. They're just flowing out of me. I think there are more but I think we can all get the gyst of how we should be viewing this. If there are other vanilla townies, is there a reason anyone can think of why one wouldn't have piped up? The scum know if Alex is telling the truth or not. Are some of these non-claimers scum just waiting to see if another vanilla townie will clarify and give them further cover and ability to join in on the claim game? If we have three claimed blockers, they should coordinate after sundown to block the three who haven't claimed: Peter, Fabien, Trenton. *Fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom*
  22. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom* Obviously. As for my role, discussing the specifics would negate what I see as the purpose of my role. I won't be claiming anything about my role other than that I have one. You actually don't need every question you have answered. Perhaps if it was night time or we could PM during the day, I could answer these questions. But I've said I won't be discussing it publicly and if you could try to show an ounce of respect that I might actually know what I'm doing and just be patient for once? How should we take a hypothetical that ends up with me telling a lie and is no reflection on anything I've actually done? Um...I don't know...as a hypothetical that ends up with me telling a lie and is no reflection on anything I've actually done? If the new scum tell is arousing your suspicion on page three of day one then scum in future games will probably try not to even post on page three of day one. I'm not scum. It's a little tiring with you saying "I think I might finally be seeing that Vincent can be town" in one breath and in the next continuing to pick apart everything I say and do. I can stand up to the scrutiny because I have nothing to hide. Except this: I don't want the scum to know what my role is. Nothing I've learned at night has any implication towards anybody as scum yet, otherwise, I'd reveal it. Or, like Jean, I'd push for a specific lynch. Or I'd be more subtle than Jean since it got him killed. My role is much more effective if the scum don't know what I do. Ask all the questions you want answered, I won't answer them publicly. I have a role. I didn't successfully target anybody on night one. Period. *Fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom*
  23. *Fwom fwomma fwomma fwom* It would make sense for Fred, as scum, to claim blocker to Daniel and conveniently coordinate. Especially if they were confident they were killing the investigator since so many people have said it seemed like Jean had information, thus the reason for his insistence. ^^This.^^ 100. Cynical? Seems like you are suspecting it. If you are, indeed, vanilla, and this isn't role madness, why do we have three blockers? I'm setting up a blocker for a lynch?? You yourself said we should be looking at the blockers. How are you then not doing the same thing. I've been suspicious of Andrew for three days. Finding his claim the least believable of our three blockers makes perfect sense to me. Yes! All true. This is probably why the wagon isn't shifting towards you because you're making salient points. Welcome to the game. You have to admit you weren't very active in the first two days and the fact that the discussion turning towards you as a viable lynch candidate seems to have wakened you. The switch in activity levels at that point is suspicious. One thing I do wish is that Emmett had revealed the result before I did. You told us who you targeted so he has that for himself already. If I had thought for a second, I wouldn't have answered. I blame the crow in my tuba for that. Right now we have no verification that his claims are true because we gave him the answer to his supposed targets. I've been going back and forth on Emmett but this now makes me wary. Again, he predicted the future with great accuracy via PM last night, something foolish for a scum to do, but, you know...WIFOM. As for my role, discussing the specifics would negate what I see as the purpose of my role. I won't be claiming anything about my role other than that I have one. *Fwom fwom fwomma fwom FWOOOOOOOOOOOOOMP* Oh, the rest of the crow finally came out. I didn't think I had all of it. *Fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom*
  24. *Fwom fwomma fwomma fwom* Ah, something useful has been said. I agree with your assessment on why someone in this situation would claim vanilla, if they were scum. I believe I asked the same questions earlier. At the same time your response seemed forced and your inactivity was suspicious. Most of the posts you've made haven't had much by way of analysis. There is a big assumption we are making that it is role madness. Lynching you would provide us an answer, while-if you're town-wouldn't lose us a night action. That may seem crass, but it's true. However, in Pirates II where it was role madness, we had three blockers, a protector and a bus driver. Again, this would be making assumptions. That's why a great way to test these blocker claims is by lynching you. If you're telling the truth then one of these blockers is likely lying. Probably the first person I voted for in this game. Señor Vanillliazser. *Fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom*
  25. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom* I didn't target anyone successfully on N1. *Fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwomma*
