  1. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom* I'd say I suspected someone for valid reason and turned out to be wrong. Many other people were suspicious of Justin and expected him to flip scum, you included. Your immediate vote for me is very different from your attitude in PMs last night. You said you'd re-evaluate things. Way to go with your 30 second re-evaluation. Sounds less like you've re-evaluated and more like you're trying to start a bandwagon on me with no justification. I may have been wrong on Justin, but that doesn't mean I've been wrong about you. So, I was blocked last night and so was Fabien. And there was a kill. Anyone want to consider now that I was the kill target on Night Three since I was protected and we didn't see a kill? Let me be the first to dance on Daniel's grave. While it's bad we lost a townie, it's not necessarily bad that we lost that Townie. Maybe we can have some productive conversation today. And maybe we can step back, breathe and look at everything that has happened with clear vision and readable conversation, finally. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom, Fwom fwom fwom, fwom fwomma fwom, fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwooooooooooom* She's gone where the goblins go, beloooooooow *Fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom!*
  2. I doubt the scum would kill the person doing the most work for them. *Fwoooooom fwoooooooooooooooooooooom*
  3. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom* Well, regardless of whether you flip town or scum, I am not scum, that is a true statement. Unfortunately, I'm the only player who knows this for a fact, currently. The quote you're referring to: What I'm saying is I am town. So, if you're also town, then either Fabien is the killer or I was targeted by another player. My point is that if you're town, it would benefit the town for you to think about the other options. If I have to be lynched to prove that I'm town, I'll accept that, but if you flip town and I'm lynched next, then the town will spend two days lynching townies. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom*
  4. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom* What a very bizarre thing for a townie to say... *Fwoooooooooom fwoooooom, fwomma fwomma fwom, fwomma* Beggin' darlin, please, Layla *Fwomma fwomma fwom fwomma*
  5. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom* Damn it all, tomorrow would fucking suck if you were to flip town. All 96 hours of the day would be filled with wall of text after wall of text from Daniel against Fabien and me, mostly me I'm sure. Nothing, in my opinion, would be worse than you flipping town. I may even vote for myself if that ends up happening because it would be nothing but misery. Everything thing I've said in this game has been true and every suspicion has been sincere. Let's discuss these things since we have plenty of time left. If you're town, I'm town, so that would mean either Fabien is the killer who was blocked or the killer was someone like Trenton or Peter, who haven't claimed roles and have been flying under the radar, and they targeted me. So, let me answer the concerns you listed. After I asked for specific examples of poke votes having an effect, you mentioned Day One of Pirates II. To my knowledge, poke votes didn't produce any results in that game. What effect do you think they had there? And the "proof" that I've been inconsistent isn't proof of any such thing. The point I was making was that, in the past, scum have "poke-voted" their inactive scum buddies, in order to appear active. And even if that was inconsistent (which it wasn't) one example of inconsistency doesn't add up to scummy inconsistencies. Now, your accusations in points number 3 and 4 sound more to me like Daniel, but maybe that's because I'm not seeing my own actions clearly as I truly think I'm being helpful. Daniel has questioned me a million (I've counted) times and I haven't once voted for him. Similarly, other people have questioned me and I've answered patiently, at least in my own estimation of my behavior. Maybe you are still mixing the two of us up. Everything I've done has been in the interest of weeding out the scum. Looking at your list, I don't see myself, but I'm open to advice or corroboration from anybody reading this in order to improve my communication. Last thing I want to be is what Justin is describing here. Sorry if I've truly made anyone feel this way. Lynching you is not possible alone and I'd hardly considerate it desperate since I've voiced my suspicions of you every day of this game, consistently. I find it decidedly inconvenient that I was blocked on the same night that there was no kill since I know I'm neither a killer, nor scum. Knowing this, and finding you suspicious throughout the game, of course I was going to vote for you today. Even you've admitted that you were in the wrong place at the wrong time and didn't know you were the hammer on Joshua, so shouldn't the town be suspicious of you? Please accept my deepest apologies if you are town, especially if this is your first game. Our games are typically a lot more fun that this. Or, at least, I think they are. In answer to your point above that five of the items are the same, yes. That would show consistency, by the way. I was putting all the concerns I've had about you throughout the game in one place so it would be easier for everyone to understand all of my suspicions. I was asking you to do the same, so of course I would do the same for you. There's a lot of time left in the day and three people who haven't voted yet. That's plenty of time and votes to look at the game outside of the interactions between Daniel and me and get a picture of the whole game. If you're town, I encourage you to take what you have and fight. Hell, even if you're scum I'd encourage it. I have the utmost respect for people who play their roles. Either way, Justin, go for it. Don't let anything that has happened in this game discourage you from playing mafia. I, of course, don't want the lynch to turn on me, but if you end up achieving that, at least Daniel will see that I'm not scum and maybe that will make the game progress more smoothly. And if you're scum, they'll get you tomorrow. I hope this post is helpful no matter what your alignment is. I've spent a shitload of time composing it. I hope it's appreciated. For everyone, I really think that's one thing we should keep in mind when expressing suspicions: our roles are randomly selected. The people playing scum aren't bad people, so there's no need to attack anyone you're suspicious of. I know I contributed to that on Day One with my heavy amounts of sarcasm and for that I truly apologize, again. I'm not having any fun in this game and I'm really trying to be positive and productive. Stepping out of the game for a moment, as a fellow player I respectfully ask that people take a few breaths and post calmly. We could all use positive energy right now. Giving game advice to the person I suspect the most has been the best I've felt in this game. EB Mafia has always been about having a good time playing an informed minority game. I, personally, would love if it could continue to be that for everyone. *Fwomma fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom* Good enough for me and Bobby McGee *Fwomma fwom, fwomma fwomma, fwomma fwom fwom fwomma fwom*
  6. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom* I can't even follow your line of thought after the second sentence. But yes, by all means, block me again. Like I said to you and Robin, and a couple of others, I prefer not to be protected. This is an ego thing, I don't like being lynched as town and I have a misplaced sense of pride that it has rarely happened. But I do love leaving the game through a night kill. Shows that I've been doing my job. Yes, it's egotistical but it's true. And as I've said, my role is useless if revealed to the wrong person, but it's not the most important role, so the town will succeed without me. You may have heard me say this in the repeated PM quotes from Daniel. And he wonders why I didn't give him any information about my role last night. So, I would prefer to be blocked again, but would forego protection for someone with a more important role. But, we may need to let Daniel keep jailkeeping me, because Andrew & Fred, be forewarned, if you end up blocking me and there is a kill, Daniel will probably think you're scum too. At this point, Daniel could hack my account, read my town role PM and then come back to the game accusing Bob of being scum. The game's going to end and Daniel's going to see that he's been screaming for days that I was scum when I was not and it's going to be my fault for my unprofessional play style. I can stand up to the scrutiny, I don't mind. But we would stand a much better chance at beating the scum if Daniel could focus on actual scum. Can you, though? You've been told by multiple people that it will make things easier and it hasn't stopped you yet. If it makes it easier for you, I think everyone understands the overall point of all of your walls of text: you think I'm scum. In my opinion, that's not a good reason to vote for someone. Wanting to know their role and thinking they're scum aren't mutually exclusive. Put down your arms for a second and consider this, just because you want information doesn't mean you should have it. We all want to know all of the information in the game because that's what the game is about, figuring out who the informed minority is. Not everyone can reveal their information publicly and still be effective. You having that information isn't as important as keeping the town in the best possible position to beat the scum. If Fabien and I are both town and claiming roles that are useless if revealed to the scum then us revealing that information before we know Justin's alignment is bad for the town. I would agree that Fabien and I should be blocked again. Fabien's suggestion that the scum may choose not to kill bothers me when we're broadcasting a Night Action plan like this, though. If we are both town, and the scum can choose not to kill then they will coast along on us lynching townies until they outnumber us. With three supposed blockers in play, they can keep us occupied for several days lynching blocked townies. So, is there another way to try and confirm one of us? Maybe block one, track the other? That way, we're not stuck in a block-lynch loop that the scum could take advantage of? *Fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom* Crazy insane! Got no brain! *Fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom*
  7. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom* His list leaves out the most logical lynch after him and then me: Fabien. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom*
  8. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom* Every time there's no lyrics, it's just the Meow Mix song. *Fwooooom, fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom, fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom* Hanging out the passenger side of my best friend's ride... (Sorry, this one got stuck in my head because of a meme someone posted on FB. )
  9. *Fwom fwom* Hammer! Sorry, didn't realize we were there. Vote: Justin Raynaud *Fwom fwom fwom fwom* Every time you see me, the hammer's just so hype *Fwom fwom fwom fwom*
  10. *Fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom* I've looked over my PM with Justin again and there are other concerning behaviors in it. One thing I realized, re-reading it, is that he had wanted his n00b-status to be a secret. Justin, if that was sincere, I apologize. I forgot that you had expressed that and I meant no disrespect by it. When you questioned what an experienced player would think of, it pinged me because of you saying you were a n00b, and I barreled forward with the suspicion without checking the PM for precise details. Truly sorry for that oversight. I'd post the PMs but, obviously, there are things Justin doesn't want me revealing about what he said, and so I'll paraphrase what I find suspicious about it. As previously mentioned, I'm an odd choice for revealing the role to. One thing he says is that if I'm scum he'll be dead anyway because he keeps picking on me. I don't feel picked on. If anything, I feel it's the other way around. I've been picking apart everything he's said and done because I find his behavior so suspicious. He mentions if I'm town, he hopes he's found an ally, which rings hollow to me considering our interactions in public up to that point. He claims to have targeted Jean on the night he was killed and, "of course found out he had been murdered." As I've mentioned three times now, I think he thought I had information that he had targeted Jean and was "claiming" to me to provide a valid reason for having done so. This is where it gets pingier for me; He expresses that he's not sure he's using his role the right way but can't think of any other uses for it. He says he targeted Andrew because he had been grouped together with him and wanted to know if he was trustworthy. He claims to have targeted Jean because Jean "had been pinging [him] as scum." I suggest that Voyeur is a weak watcher and that it should be used this way, as an example: "I would target people you expect the scum will target to see which roles they have. If we know of somebody targeting a specific person, we could also use your role to verify that they targeted who they said they did and what their role actually is. Let's say, for example, that I claimed rolecop and told you I was going to target Daniel. You could target Daniel to confirm he was targeted by 'rolecop.'" He replies that he'd been targeting people who he thought were scum and if they were targeted by a town role, he'd believe they're town, which is nuts, IMHO. He says he's going to follow my strategy on targeting Daniel, assuming Daniel is town and hoping to catch scum targeting him. That wasn't the point of my strategy. I make it clear to him that I'm not claiming rolecop and not planning on targeting Daniel. Justin concludes by saying (because I asked for his opinion) Daniel's un-lynching of Alex was weird, but he thought his suspicion of Fred was reasonable and blames Daniel's behavior in this game on Mafia.gg *Fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwooooooooooooooom*
  11. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom* Not the bus driver. There were actually three unsuccessful actions that weren't blocked on the first night of Pirates II. Elijah tried to give Ansel an invention, but he was dead. Ethan tried to investigate Ansel, but he was dead. He should've investigated himself, shouldn't he have?? We'll talk to Bob about that later. And yes, you targeted a ninja. Why would you be surprised that I didn't mention the possibility of Joshua being a blocker when I've said repeatedly I have no evidence of a fourth blocker? Why would I think of Joshua blocking when I have no indication that I was blocked? I have no evidence of a fourth blocker. Do you really need the same question answered every time you ask them? You're not even paying attention to the answers. *Fwom fwoooooooom, fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwoooooooooooom, fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwooooooooooooooom* hate everything about you! *Fwom fwoooooom*
  12. *Fwom fwom* Peter, I've explained this twice. Here it is a third time: I said this yesterday– Again, and for the third time, I think he was under the impression I had information on him as I was pushing for his lynch, but in a more subtle way than Jean. I'm surprised you have this question when I've posted it twice before this. I think Justin was trying to explain any result I might be working off of. Why else would he choose me who he supposedly thinks is the most scummy player? Why would he claim to me when I've found him scummy from the beginning? That post, I think is why. Trying to give himself cover for what I might've found out about him. And I do plan to vote for Justin, but also as I've already stated, I don't find it helpful for the three suspects who were blocked last night to be throwing votes around. I think it's up to everybody else to discern what has happened so far and vote for themselves and I don't see how placing my vote would make a difference for anybody. Hell, after being suspicious of Justin since early on Day One, it might be nice to place the hammer on him. As far as my Night One result goes, if it implicated a fourth blocker I would've let someone know by now. I doubt someone with a huge brain and so much mafia experience like Daniel truly believes the only way to be unsuccessful would be to be blocked. Same goes for the rest of you. There were actually 2 examples of unsuccessful actions in Pirates II where the role wasn't blocked but they were unsuccessful, one of which was Daniel's role. So he really should know it's possible to be unsuccessful without being blocked. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom*
  13. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom* No more redundant than Daniel defending Justin. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom*
  14. *fwom fwomma fwomma fwom* If you have zero reasons to trust me, why did you claim your "role" to me last night? I know you've said it's clear Daniel and I aren't on the same team but the same could be set about Emmett, Aiden, maybe Fred. Daniel has gone after them with the same energy, so then why me if you have zero reasons to trust me? Your PM was all "Gosh, I don't know if I can trust you, but here's hoping you're Town! If you are I hope I've found an ally. Here's my role, blah blah blah." You told me everything you had to offer about your supposed role. You said specifically you were "undecided" about my allegiance. Yet, in thread, I've given you nothing but pings since Day One? Not only did you say you were a n00b, you said that was the reason you've been pinging me, because you don't know how to play yet. Weird, I just read through all of your posts from Day One and I didn't see you mention you finding me suspicious. You seem to go after Aiden, but I didn't get a clear idea that you were suspicious of me. Perhaps you can clarify? You've mentioned you have "every reason to think" I'm scum and all these pings you've felt from my posts but that's pretty unspecific. Since you've told me you were trying to figure out how to play on EB Mafia, here's some advice; It's easier for other people to follow your suspicion if you put it out there in a specific list, like this: I'm suspicious of Justin because: The whole poke-vote thing I never believed. While he claimed to have found Joshua suspicious, he didn't point out that Joshua was wrong about (whoever they were) pushing for a no-lynch. He said he didn't think Joshua should be lynched on day two, then on day three said he'd been in favor of it. "Didn't realize" he was the hammer vote on Joshua. The PM with Daniel. Admitting to targeting Jean on Night Two and being blocked last night, when there was no kill. PMing me to claim his role after supposedly finding me the most suspicious and me detailing my suspicions about him every day of this game. Me having a conflict with Daniel throughout this game or not, I'm an odd chose to claim the role to. Again, I said this on Day Three: Since I was pushing for his lynch yesterday, I think Justin thought I knew something about him and PMed me to roleclaim to explain away what I might know. Sending the identical PM to Daniel is good cover since it's been discussed often in this game that you send a PM to "at least five people!!" to make sure a townie gets it. This was actually my reasoning for sending my PMs with Daniel to Aiden on Night One. So, if Justin is Scum, this is a decent mimic of what a Townie did. So, Justin, can you do that to make your suspicions of me more clear? It may make it more clear to others as well to see all the pings you've felt in one place. Thanks. *Fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom, fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwooooooom* No colors anymore, I want them to turn black.
  15. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom* As I stated, because someone was protected and could've been the kill target. This is the second or third time someone has suggested shrugging that off, when it is a possibility. And don't get me wrong, I think we should lynch one of the three blocked players. I'm just not audacious enough to be one of said blocked players and place a vote on one of you two because that's disrespectful and desperate. I'm in no hurry to place my vote, but take a wild guess where it might be going. This sounds super sincere after you suggested I was shrugging off the idea of focusing on the three players who were blocked. Nice one. But you aren't. You gave me a whole song and dance via PM last night that this is your first game. So, which is it? Do you have experience or is this your first game? *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom*
  16. *Fwom fwom fwomma fwom* Yes, what was the timing of this? Daniel, did you suggest tracking Justin before or after learning he would be the block target? Maybe Fred can help us confirm with timestamps from PMs? I'd hate to be Hinckley right now. I would tell someone via PM who I trust. Turns out I don't trust anybody so I didn't reveal anything to anybody, least of all you. When you un-voted Alex, flipped on Fred, and tried to pressure Emmett into voting for Alex, you slipped out of the town column for me. Fred contacted me and said he was coordinating night actions with you and Andrew and since you had just voted for Fred, that seemed odd too. Not sure why you expected me to come running to you in PM like you're king of the confirmed townies, but your expectations don't create reality. But you only knew this after the day started. Why would you tell someone you didn't trust who you would be blocking? You've inferred that I'm something important for Town. Your inferences don't create reality, either. What I said about my role, twice, was this: There it is a third time. Currently, you're the only one pushing for more info about it. Let's not forget that we can concentrate on the three players who were blocked, yes. I personally think that Justin is scum. You may have heard me mention it, repeatedly, over the first three days and also again today. But let's not forget that it's possible the scum killer was not blocked and that I was the target. Or maybe the fact that everybody who has claimed has also claimed who they targeted, he might know that Andrew wasn't targeted by anyone else. Or if someone did know his targets, he needed to risk guessing nobody else had targeted Andrew. *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom*
  17. *Fwom* No, you already counted him as a third. Why did you start with two? •Fwom•
  18. *Fwom fwom— Eh? Did I miss a protector claim? *Fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwom* This is comedy genius. Why did you add "Town" to all of the claims? *Fwomp FWoooooooooooooooooooooomp*
  19. *Fwom fwom fwom* Who brought up the term "voyeur?" *Fwomma fwom fwom*
  20. *fwom fwomma fwom fwom* You know, when you leave me alone on a day I want to play mafia, I'm just going to keep playing with myself. Emmett, on page one of our PM conversation, you made a post 23 hours ago (at the time of this post) It starts "I have to assume that..." The fourth paragraph down start with "I wrote...," doesn't that really ping you now? Were you waiting for something specific to happen before you brought that up? Fred, whose decision was it to block me? I know you specifically said you weren't considering it and never had. Daniel, at the end of the day yesterday, you unvoted Alex and turned on Fred accusing him of being scum and trying to monitor you. Did you go straight from there to work with him via PM on coordinating night actions? What has happened with your suspicion of him? *Fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom, fwom fwom fwomma fwooooooom, fwomma fwom fwom fwomma fwom, fwom fwom fwomma fwoooooooom* But now it's time for me to go, the Autumn moon lights my way...
  21. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom* Activity was fast and furious for a while, but it's died down rather quickly. In answer to Emmett's post, I don't mind answering. I suggested tracking either Fabien, Trenton or Aiden. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom fwom*
  22. *Fwom fwom* I think this is the actual reason you chose to claim to me: I think you were going to try and kill Daniel last night but got blocked. I realize I was also blocked so some might see it as convenient that I'm pointing the finger at you. Having the benefit of knowing I'm not the killer, and not scum for that matter, I think Justin thought I was the watcher and knew he had killed Jean and was therefore pushing for his lynch, but being more subtle so as not to killed for it, therefore revealing the information I supposedly had. For transparency, I am not a watcher. But I think Justin was covering himself in case I was and had information, leading me to push for his lynch. To clarify my earlier pseudonym suspicion: my theory is that he targeted Andrew on Night One to either frame or tailor him, if you're not familiar with either role they both change the investigator's results to the opposite of the targeted player's alignment. I think Andrew would've made a great target for this role on Night One since most of the argument between Daniel and me revolved around my suspicion of Andrew. So, while my theory initially guided me to confirm Andrew as Town if he would've been targeted by a framer in this instance, it could also be that he was tailored to appear town if investigated. This might be my brain working overtime, it has a tendency to do that. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom fwom*
  23. My brain's working overtime on this now. What if the guy who PMed Daniel and me, let's call him Joe. What if Joe is a framer, would he also be a tailor? I was thinking the person Joe targeted, let's call him Frank, could be cleared, but if Joe is a framer/tailor, then Frank could be scum or town, still. I'm hoping Joe stops by soon so we can all have this conversation out in the open. *Fwom fwomma fwomma fwomma fwomma fwomma fwom* scaramush! scaramush! Can you do the fandango? *Fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fweee!*
  24. *Fwom fwom fwom fwom* Imagine Joshua was the killer on Night One and this person did target the person he said he targeted. What would scum target a townie with where the townie doesn't die or get blocked? In Pirates II, Scum had a framer. Now, imagine that an investigator and a framer had targeted the same person he says he targeted (apologies to everyone who doesn't know what we're talking about yet). How different would this game be today? *Fwomma fwomma fwom fwom fwom fwom fwomma fwom*
  25. I felt the same way, that it was too convenient. My feeling was that he thought I might be the watcher and caught him on Night Two. Not giving away the person's identity, I think you can start to piece together the other thing I find odd about it. *Fwom fwom*
