  1. Actually, the photo pretty much covers the entire build. It is fairly small, and meant as an introduction to me and my squad. Right now, I have a 64×64 model in progress which will be a better effort. Thanks for your feedback, next time I will work on photography.
  2. http://20200429_152644 by pope.dt06 , on Flickr In the deep jungles of El Oleon, Miguel de Resal and a Carnite officer encounter a Lotii patrol. Although the Lotii quickly melt back into the rainforest, this is a turning point in the war, as Miguel and his comrade have discovered a route used by the Men of the Lotus in their notorious guerilla raids... Nod to @Professor Thaum for the "guerilla ambushes" Hope you like my build, C&C welcome!
  3. Aahh! There we go. Sorry about the photography, the lighting was not the best then.
  4. I have a potbellied chef torso from Burger Bar Fire. The only thing is, it has a slight misprint. That misprint makes him lose his paunch, but does not affect the torso's quality. Any ideas if that makes the chef more/less valuable or desirable?
  5. Fun! Those Carnites are in for it... Or are they...
  6. I missed out on a lot of the Castle themes, but I've always seen it is that any can be good or bad in classic castle. That is part of the beauty of it. For example, the Black Falcon Knights are valiant warriors, fighting against the vain, decadent Lion knights, or the forestmen "Rob from the rich" (Crusaders) and "Give to the poor" (whatever City folks who happen to be lying around) The only exceptions are the obviously cruel fright knights. The new castle themes tend to have inherently bad and good sides, which is one reason why I don't like them as much.
  7. Wow! That is creative! You could spend a long time just looking at all the individual parts...
  8. Very nice! It captures the feel of the Wall and Castle Black well without being super detailed. (That is a complement, by the way.)
  9. Probably because it is real-world, and also I do not think kids would be thrilled. For the most part, what kids want (therefore Lego markets) is Ninjago, Star Wars, and City. While AFOLs might go wild, I do not think it would be in TLG's interests. Also, Ole Kirk Christiansen did not want historical warfare to be a central part of a theme, just "good vs bad". These are my thoughts, it is fine if you think differently.
  10. Excellent! As others have said, the roof looks great, and the detailing is also!
  11. Yeah, Scout Troopers get a mostly positive rap in RotJ (almost defeating Han, putting up an admirable pursuit, and possessing more intelligence than most). They could be featured in a Mandolorian set that is not the Razor Crest,so that is hopeful. Maybe even a Death Trooper could be included, but this is more wishful thinking. I saw no need for TLG to update the stormtrooper helmet mold in the way that they did, as it is not as realistic to the movies as it could have been. That mold is cool though, so I guess I shouldn't complain. I could talk for hours, so signing off now!
  12. I tried the BB code, and it did not work. For now, the picture is the one on the top left on the "Oops" page. Thanks for your patience, I will figure this out later, as I have some things going on this afternoon.
  13. According to Wookiepedia, the standard troopers were more used as military police and support troops after the Solo era, so the main way I would see them being made into a set would be an early empire anthology film coming out, or, as you said, a sort of a "Battle of Mimban" set. Honestly, in Solo, they appeared as good as Stormtroopers, so I like them. For now I guess we'll be buying duplicates of mudtrooper Han or General Veers. Stormtroopers are cheap, so that is a plus for Imperials like me, although they are nowhere near the only Imperial army unit. It is confusing/cool that there are literally dozens of Canon trooper types, and even more Legends troopers. The field is wide open for customizers who are building their Imperial army! More Rebel troopers would also be convenient, as there are very few out there.
  14. http://20200509_092750 by pope.dt06 ,on Flickr On the core world of Byss, rich in Sith lore, Dannl mDoha and his squad of Stormsnipers attack a Sith shrine in search of a holocron that may hold the secrets of ancient trade routes useful to the Triumvirate... Pics
  15. Aw man.. That would be a great addition to any Imperial army!
  16. I am probably a loner about this, but it really would be great for me if Lego released some standard Imperial troopers, similar to the Han Solo that came with the TIE fighter. You can't leave out the basic "grunts". This is sort of a far fetched idea, though, because they only get brief appearances in the movies.
  17. WOW!! Great work, @Evilkirk, this is stunning! While I can't say I like the videogame Rogue Shadow is in, your build still blows the set out of water in terms of detail, aesthetics, and all-around awesomeness, and causes jaw-dropping awe!
  18. That looks spectacular! The trooper's armor does not help them any blending in, as you said. I did not even know there were that many lavender brick types!
  19. Nice bunker! The flick-missile launcher blast door is an interesting touch.
  20. This is excellent! The whitewashed walls and classrooms exude a charm that makes your model stand out!
  21. Large build but well done! The detailing in the scene is nice, and I also like the leaking sludge.
  22. Great job! As others have said, the Dragon is wonderful. The base, also is excellent, making good use of the sideways wall technique.
  23. Very good! This creature is Star Wars like and makes good use of SNOT. It might be my favorite build in this challenge yet!
