  1. Good point, though well done on the Agents sets, I'd consider that a success given its pretty much overtaken Batman as our favourite theme this year. Hope you can get 'em soon though, but for now I've decided to order a few sets while waiting for the Tumbler. Batbrick Away!
  2. I'm seeing it on Wednesday! Go Aus and our mostly good movie times! Batbrick Away!
  3. Oh, that's much better then! Batbrick Away!
  4. , i'm totally dead now! Well thanks to Dragonator for the game, I had good fun, but it seems I'm going to be hung! Batbrick Away!
  5. , this is fantastic: "Say what now?" I'm about as confused as I'll ever be over how he ended up here, looking forward to finding out. I have to say though, no offense but the background is a bit dull in this one, if you managed to get a bit more blue in to make it sunny then i'm sure it would look better. Batbrick Away!
  6. While it looks like I mat be a dead man I can tell you this: Last night I went to bed, slept like a baby and nothing else. Hinckley's evidence comprises of a single painting that could easily have been someone else, and then him simply "torturing me". These bruises I hold are those of training sessions with my men. I have had enough of these convictions of my character, I think you people are being led astray by simple words, so therefore I vote:Hinckley
  7. Ha, I like the short ending, great to see Huey show up again, totally came out the left corner for me, as I was expecting it to be a dream. Looking forward to future strips, especially the one with the mystery set, do you plan on getting it one day? Batbrick Away!
  8. Catch up quick then! I just bought Subzero and Gotham Knight. I was very pleasantly surprised at Gotham Knight, I think if you can get over the anime aspect and enjoy it as an indepth look into Batman's character you will also love it. Though the first story is annoying, seriously, the dialog the kids spurt out makes the Batman in my Basement ep of BTAS sound like art. I can answer any questions too if you want. I should have saved myself five minutes before and just written this Die. No, seriously, just crawl into your bed and die. No I mean it, it is better to not exist than to have never seen Firefly Seriously though, I just know you would love it, a sci-fi western of 14 eps and a feature movie. Great arcs, hilarious characters, there was a redhead in there too Honestly, just look the eps up on wikipedia, type them into a youtube search and watch! It starts to annoy me after a while really, there are almost no blondes (they discriminate us! Yeah that's right I'm also blonde, though I keep my hair under better control), and a freakishly large black haird population. I understand it works a bit with Gotham's dark deco, but it angers me. Luckily I then remember I'm getting angry over hair colour and calm down a bit. I'm the Goddamn Batbrick! Now eat those rats Brainbox, or you'll never be detraumatised over your parents death! Speaking of JLA, your mentioned "Justice" was in Birchalls today, looked great, especially with the Clown Prince of Crime on the front. I didn't pick it up though, I already bought Gotham Knight and I need to get other comics first. Looked great, even though the blurb removed the villains mystique (I mean I know the villains weren't truly good, but they didn't have to say it!). I see, hilarious in the sense that it completely annihilates any form of humour in the vicinity of several lightyears right? Well, you are now through the worst ep of all time so be happy. As for INTL, I was surprised you didn't like it more, I love mob stories, and this is a great throwback to those old gangster films. Heart of Ice as you say is sheer brilliance, especially the final part. The Catwoman two-parter is good I agree, though I like the ending. I agree she isn't sexy enough (she is a little bustier though in later eps). Soon up is the Clayface two-parter though, another great couple of eps. And one of my favourites, the grey ghost ep, which stars Adam West as the title character and Bruce Timm as a character too Robin pops up soon, in disc 4 I believe, he has a good origin story in season 2. And on Disc 4 you also get some more rogue villain eps, including Croc and Harley Batbrick Away!
  9. Please, a kick in the crutch is more subtle than your jokes! Pains me too mate, but admittingly Harley is just not enough to beat the combined forces of Saw-fist, Break-Jaw, Gold Tooth, Spy-Clops, Slime-Face, Claw-Dette, Fire-Arm and Dr.Inferno. And with your obsession with puns you should be in 7th heaven. I like the throne position, when I get the set the throne will go about 6 bricks higher so he can lord over his master plan and tell his foes where the volcano destruction button is. Though there will be a trap awaiting those that enter of course! Oh, and i'll add a self destruct button of course. Batbrick Away!
  10. Wow! That's awesome, I love how the Batpod comes out of the Tumbler, really cool. I think the Tumbler looks good, but it needs to be a bit longer to proportion it better, and the Batpod probably needs a place for Bats to stick his feet. Overall very cool though, thanks for sharing Batbrick Away!
  11. Great job! I love the airtight front (so Freeze can survive) and the ice cream dispensers. Mr.Freeze's uniform is hilarious too Batbrick Away!
  12. Think of it this way, he is setting them "free" by allowing them the luxury of a life without laws, instead one with big rewards and an exciting lifestlye! I'm loving this idea, Penguin brings his friends for the job but when a death bis necessary bring on the mechanised birds! On another note, does anyone know if or when the tumbler set will be hitting Aus stores? I have yet to see it show anywhere here. Batbrick Away!
  13. Just bought and watched Batman: Gotham Knight. I was pleasantly surprised, most of the six stories were very good. The weakest segment was the first: Have I Got A Story For You, though it did cleverly show the kids as a metaphor for the writers and artists making their own interpretations. It was definitely the weakest though. Crossfire was good, Batman was pretty Badass and it was cool to see a mob war. It also included Crispus Allen (yay!) and a female cop also in the upcoming TDK. Field Test I also liked. It dealt with how Batman chooses not to endanger others to save his own mission as the mission is his, and thus must be the penalties. Lucius Fox was great, and this also included Sal Maroni, the man who wil scar Harvey, and also appears in TDK. The art made Bruce look a little effeminate but you just have to get over those kind of things. In Darkness Dwells was brilliant, an awesome noir detective/horror story. The interaction between Gordon and Bats is very cool, and the drawing style and animation is great. Killer Croc and Scarecrow are both very cool in this segment, a tad underused in Croc's case but awesome nonetheless. Working Through Pain was amazing, a truly wonderful story showing that Batman cannot overcome his pain as his trainer puts it, as his pain is what drives him. The end, with the as a metaphor for Batman being unable to let go of this pain as it could cost others what it cost him, is a truly sad ending and definitely appreciated more on the second turn. Deadshot is the finale, and a classic one at that. What is so great is that it shows Batman's understanding of the attraction of guns, mirrored chillingly by Deadshot, master assassin. The animation in this segment is the best, with standout action sequences. The end is also very bittersweet, which is perfect for a Batman story. So overall I am very happy to have purchased it, the style may be al ittle hard to get used to, but trust me the second time you view it, it is all the more enjoyable. Batbrick Away!
  14. I was thinking, I love the Agents theme this year, it is my favourite in a long time. I was overjoyed more sets are coming out in 09, but was wondering exactly what. What would you like to see the Agents theme continue to? Personally, I think the single best way to go is to get a new team of villains. Dr.Inferno has had his fun, now bring on a new insane mastermind with a different set of lackeys and colour scheme! I'd also love to get a couple of new Agents, maybe even the headhoncho of them, their boss or something. As for the bases, we really need a seabase for the villain and a base (not moving) for the Agents I think. A set I'd also love to see would be a safari set in Africa with some animals (new like the shark) and a couple of All Terrain Vehicles to square off against each other. What do you think? Batbrick Away!
  15. Congratulations svelte-corps, if i wanted anyone to win over me, it was you, an award well deserved. Thanks for all that voted for me too, I'm very happy to have come second as the Temple is one of my finest mocs, so thanks. Thanks to Sinner for running it too, it was a blast and like svelte-corps i think that the story part added a real edge Batbrick Away!
  16. Yes it is, it diverges from the storyline a bit, but considering its lean 70 minute running time it definitely had too. The fights are brilliant, it is very dark, and has a good storyline. Plus, Alec Baldwin (Jayne) from Firefly voices Supes, so that boosts the film by about 27% right? Good idea, I prefer brown hair myself, there are already way too many black haired characters in Batman, I don't think the writers realise that there isn't exactly a majority of them compared to brunettes and blondes. That would be......interesting We also seem to go out of control on other threads, I've had to move conversations to here from Agents, History and Space threads! And Kim Possible too, which for some reason BB1 hasn't seen. It's pretty much like a cartoon version of the current Agents line And fellow Tasmanian backs me up! No, it is different frankly. Batman and Robin is very homoerotic in nature with Batnipples, neon lights and a lot of things I won't go to mention. The Adam West series wasn't bad, it was great and cheesy. B&R is not good in any way, because the production and sets made good sense, but the dialog, aforementioned homoerotica, neon everything, insufferable puns and more made it unbearable. On the other hand, All Star B&R is Miller going insane amongst gorgeous art, no puns and the sheer hilarity of what he is writing. Mr Freeze in B&R spouting "Ice to see you!" every five seconds, is not hilarious Batbrick Away!
  17. Thanks to the new review it seems it is about as subtle as a trainwreck, but we can fix that ourselves can't we? Really? I NEVER noticed... I have to agree, this is my favourite theme of the year, even above Batman, can't wait to get the sets and hopefully the ones next year are just as good. I love thep ieces and minifigs too, these sets are gold in every department frankly Batbrick Away!
  18. Sorry I haven't been commenting recently. The whole Gods of Rock storyline was great, looking forward to the next one. Good job on Trace's hair too! Oh, and good luck on getting that DACTA set, I sadly do not have any money I can spare (I mean it, I'm barely getting by) but I do hope you can, and I think it is worth going for anyway, it seems like the sort of thing you won't regret doing in the future should you buy it. Batbrick Away!
  19. Oh, I like that they are real penguins Anyway, the site looks good, but I was hoping for profiles on all the characters not just the ones from this lineup. Good job on getting the cycle BigT, sadly the Batmobile set from Birchalls truly is gone, it was on sale too. Batbrick Away!
  20. Thanks for mentioning me as the inspiration Numbuh23, it looks very good. I'm not too sure on the paint job, but the rest looks very good and symmetrical, thanks for sharing. Batbrick Away!
  21. Thankyou for believing in me Friar and others, my pants are always kept on a rack next to my door, so they could have been stolen! Last night it was very hot and I kept the door foolishly open, so anyone could've come in. Please believe, I hope my General friend Spencer is not a traitor but the evidence is looking bad for him. Anyone could've stolen my gear though, but only few are quiet enough to return them without my notice, someone with training. I believe for now Spencer is innocent, I hope you are alright my friend!
  22. You mean someone actually sat down and painted this and chose to do NOTHING!?!? Oh well, I still maintain my stance that I am framed...again. The killer has disguised himself as me to throw them off his tracks. That said, a compelling argument, I guess it is my word and my word alone as my defense, but I just hope people can see the truth that I am innocent.
  23. Sorry, I've been at a conference. How am I a suspect may I ask? Calvin was the one with the so called "proof" and he turned out to be working for the Lord Ash traitor!
  24. My goodness! It is good that Calvin is finally dead but why Grim? He was certainly the last person I would expect to be killed, such a tragedy. I confess to not knowing him well, but I mourn this good man's death, let him be buried with full honour
  25. Oh this is brilliant! But will excitement this creates destroy the very fabric of Eb itself? Batbrick Away!
