Looking more closely at the giant Zurg, I am totally getting him. Sure his construction is far more simple than Buzz, but he still looks great and all that purple is calling to me... Batbrick Away!

Back after two weeks of holiday! Great updates KDog, awesome to see the Viking Serpent, I loved that set. Also, congratulations on winning that prize, really well done, you certainly deserved it! As for the latest part, this is one of your best comics I've read. So many great jokes here, among my favourites is the name of the satellite; Paparazzi-1, McNewsbreaker assuring the audience that a show they actually care about will follow and of course the obligatory Mega Shark vs Giant Squid homage Looking forward to more parts, though I have a feeling the UFO's fascination with Shwartz goes beyond the jokes and factors into the plot. to the Brickmobile!

Murder on the Emerald Express: Discussion
Batbrick replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Aww nuts, didn't quite make it to the finish, I hope I got killed off nicely or something. I'm a bit upset, I was there the whole time and missed the end Oh well, I'll be sure to read the conclusion soon, and many thanks to TheBrickster for making this fun game! Austin Away! -
I love my cat Smokie, always have loved cats more than dogs, given that I respect cunning, intelligence and cleanliness more than playfulness and blind loyalty. But my Lego story with pets was a near heartstopper when, since my cat follows me everywhere, while I was setting up my post-apoc finale she walked through it. For those unfamiliar, this was my scene: This had approximately figures able to be knocked down, and she gracefully walked right through it, paused for about ten seconds in the center, then turned around and exited near where she entered. And she only knocked down 1 figure, and that was my fault for making a noise that distracted her. To the Brickmobile!

Thanks for all the comments guys, you're great. Any further developments from anyone else? I'm going to start my second part soon. To the Brickmobile!

Woah! Happy to come back after two weeks to these sweet pics! Loving the look of the army set. I'd claim I'll get multiples, but I never do, but I'll definitely be getting them! Giant Buzz is very awesome, my sister's boyfriend is totally going to buy all these, he's the biggest Toy Story fan! I'll be sure to get the Zurg! To the Brickmobile!

Murder on the Emerald Express: Discussion

Thanks mate, appreciated! I'm glad I can live! To the Brickmobile! -
And I give you my first part of the East Wall: The East Wall is the weak spot of the town, consisting of the more broken down buildings. To compensate it has a larger staff and good weaponry: Top floor, with sounding trumpet, medical kit, ammunition, mounted gun, clock (for shifts), and dynamite: Second floor, with mounted gun, ammunition, a letter from a lost loved one and barrels of water: First floor, with landscape map, close quarters weapons, food and extra rifles: The building is somewhat modular. And a diagonal view: A side view. Well, what do you guys think? Haven't lost the knack have I? Goin' on a holiday fer two weeks!

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 14A
Batbrick replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Oh this here ain't good news. I hate the rain, always was a bit alien ta me growin' up in Texas. I think now that we're gettin' hopefully ta the end of our journey our killer may try an' rise up ta stop us! No one wander off ya hear? This here is a very crucial moment an' I don't want ta end up like those other poor souls! -
Fishing rod gun! Why hasn't this been made in real life yet!? Love this part KDog, glad you've brought the aliens back again, I was beginning to think we'd never see their subplot again! I hope this is part of the overall arc you've started. Valkyrie's line cracked me up too, like a female Jack Harkness move. Goin' on a holiday fer two weeks!

Jut sbecause TheBrickster may have missed it: I have to say I disagree with the others though, I may not be the best at this game but I'm really enjoying it. Goin' on a holiday fer two weeks! -
Okay, I have to admit; I burst out laughing when I opened this topic. The title itself is hilarious, but when it turned out to simply be Indy in a literal block of ice I couldn't help myself. Awesome stuff. Now please, continue with these icy creations. I want to see "Batman Got Froze!" and "Vader got Froze!" Goin' on a holiday fer two weeks!

The Penguin's Batman Comic Story - 2 )
Batbrick replied to The Penguin's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Good comic so far Pengy, I'm quite intrigued. I love that you've chosen Tim; my favourite Robin. I like your version of The Penguin as the more recent "crooked businessman" interpretation. I think the lighting is a little dark though, and I'm disappointed about the lack of sets, since your last comic had some good setups. Still, I'll be looking forward ot the next parts, hopefully you can top the first one! To the Brickmobile! -
Murder on the Emerald Express: Discussion

Just to confirm; I need to die as soon as possible, preferably before Saturday so I can read it. Or just get written out of the game, because sadly (and I am annoyed that I won't be able to continue) I'll be on a two week holiday which I'm sure won't be useful. Unless of course two weeks has little effect, in which case if it's fine with you TheBrickster if you could just put in a couple of lines for me. To the Brickmobile! -
Oh, my apologies then (< there it is ) An innocent question; is this topic still valid anymore? I haven't heard any true confirmation of Indy's supposed termination but a lot of folks seem to think it's true. Not really my two cents, it's actually a serious question. To the Brickmobile!

Wow, generalisation heaven, I guess you must be an expert on this thing. Really, I can agree in part on there being too many licenses, though the Star Wars one is not long off ending anyway. PoP is most likely going to be like Speed Racer, a one year theme. Because these are licensed we heard about them first, there's still plenty of orginial themes to hear about. To the Brickmobile!

Thanks, I finished it yesterday and just have to make the figs. I'll try and post it tomorrow. To the Brickmobile!

Movie you liked but most people hated...
Batbrick replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in Culture & Multimedia
With Watchmen, I fall under the surprisingly large third category that has somehow slipped past Tyrant's radar; being TOO close to the comic. I feel that a movie based on a book, especially one as large and awesomely complex as Watchmen, should not just cut scenes nor straight up adapt it as Watchmen did, but instead differ from the book in some ways, have a reason for it to be adapted other than bringing it to a large audience. Though they should have kept the squid, it was awesomely comic booky, I felt the change was made in order to appear uber-serious, when really some silly aspects should be present. I'm with you too Jim Butcher, the story and how it is executed is the main deal for me. To the Brickmobile! -
What? The reviews of Wall-E were NOT mediocre, the film is praised by both critics and audiences alike. It's a classic! To the Brickmobile!

Going to the Gold Coast, Queensland from Tasmania for a holiday this Saturday for two weeks! Can't wait, I've been twice before, and I'll finally be able to ride the Superman Escape! (And Batwing!). There is a possibility I'll be able to post occasionally while up there, but I'll say goodbye now! To the Brickmobile!

Some Indy and Agents sets have arrived in Tasmania! Woo! I only bought Ambush in Cairo though, since it is a brilliant little set and I want my money saved for my upcoming holiday to the Gold Coast. The figs are fantastic, and I love that tan barrel! To the Brickmobile!
